Please never order from this restaurant. We ordered our food at 2:20am and didn’t receive it until 4:50am. When the food came it was cold and so plain. I ordered a waffle which was £9.99 and it was the worst food that I’ve ever seen in my life

Never experienced such bad service before. Ordered the food at 01:40 while I waited and waited and the food never showed up, time was 04:10. When I called the restaurant at 03:48 a lady answered and said that the driver was on his way and it took 15 minutes. Tried to call them back but then no one bothered to answer. In the end, I just had to go to bed. Will do anything to get that money back. Do not recommend anyone to order food from that place here.

I spent £26 on items that never arrived and I never got a requested refund and it's been one month so far

Was quite disappointed that I paid £6.99 for strawberries covered in chocolate and you only get 4, my food arrived late but the driver was really friendly

The food was late ,a lot later than said, when I eventually got it.it was stone cold !! Didn’t get an apology or anything, so be warned customers,or anybody who’s thinking of ordering from cake away!!!

Absolute radicals service ordered through Uber Eats delivery time should have been 8:15 pm after several phone calls and fob offs cancelled the order at 10:30 pm and got my money back.. never using these jokers again

Put a order in at 8.50 on uber it's now 11.30 and apparently the order just been collected 10 mins ago and it will take 30 more to get to me. Totaling at 3h 10mins for a couple of things. Absolutely ridiculous, it was originally going to arrive here for 9.30 apparently. The customer service is rude from the restaurant and, Uber couldn't help as the have there own delivery so no tracking etc apparently untill the end of the order *Update* got to just before 12 when on Uber it was classed as complete! Not cancelled but completed! So money was still coming out. No way on earth and I getting charged for not having anything. After a stupid amount of time back and forth with Uber they refunded Never ordering from here again

Wish I could leave no one star review but unfortunately I can’t. Please no one order from here. Absolutely horrible customer service. Supposed “manager” told me it wasn’t a big deal if my order didn’t arrive because I’d get a refund. Do not spend your hard earned money on a business that does even know how to handle customers. No order should take over 2 hours to arrive, especially if the estimated time is 30 minutes.

Took over 2 hours to come and the hot food was freezing. Rang to ask where our food was multiple time and it was always the next stop or 10 minutes away, in the end was over an hour after I made the first call. Staff was also rude when I called up to ask

Over 45 mins late. waited nearly two hours from initial order placement. Called 5 times to chase order. every time told driver is on way. this rigmarole lasted an hour in itself. Although the sundaes are great; I wouldn't bother ordering again. Also the time stated it was delivered on Just Eat is wrong; highlighting covering up of order processing to Just Eat.

Waited 1 hour and a half after expected delivery time. We ordered at 11 and it arrived just after half 1. Milkshakes had fully melted- I know it is pretty far from Bolton to ormskirk but it took 1 hour 30 mins instead of 45 mins when I looked it up

The woman on the phone was rude the food took over 2 hours to get here and the waffle wasn’t even good a waste of money and don’t order from here plus I had to ring up 3 times to try find out where my order was.

Currently sat here almost 3 hours after ordering and no sign of the food. My partners called the restaurant and spoke to someone who clearly doesn’t wanna be there. Only read the reviews AFTER I’d ordered which is a learning curve. Also have no idea why a restaurant in Bolton is delivering to my house over 50 minutes away. Only realised where it was after I’d ordered too. Shocker and you should be embarrassed

I never give a review but this place deserves it, waiting from 19:30 to 21:25 for an order to be delivered only for it not to turn up, this place deserves a 1.2 start rating, in fact, they need to be shut down, and absolutely disgrace, never order from here, they don't even answer for the phone

I still haven't received my order yet....I understand why because its miles away from where I live. my question is why does just eat allow people to make orders to takeaways that are no where near them? when I order I don't check what area the place is situated because i already assume its near by. its not very economic or profitable to be driving 10+ miles to deliver a cheese cake.

They are a bunch of liars, so don't order from them. Nearly 1:00 in the morning, I placed an Uber order. They kept stating 10 minutes even after I waited till 4am. The dumb woman who answered the last phone told me to go talk to Uber and I should hang up. The worst thing I've ever done. Folks, don't spend your money or time.

This food never turned up. I live in Rossendale and this restaurant is in Bolton (40 mins away) I don’t know why it’s on my just eat! I only realised when over an hour later it hadn’t got here. I tried calling and the number doesn’t even ring through!!

Order did not arrive. Called restaurant 40 minutes after expected delivery time to be told he was nearby. Rude driver then called and said he was 30 minutes away and if I didn’t want to wait I had to cancel. I called the restaurant again who told me not to worry, they’d ring the driver and it would be less than 30 minutes. Next minute the order shows as delivered but it never turned up.

Extremely disappointed with delivery time, rang the restaurant after it being 10 mins late from estimated delivery time. I was told it was close by, it wouldn't be long, within waiting for over a hour I rang the restaurant a further 2 times, both times being said he would be about 10 more mins. The order eventually arrived 2 hours and 10 mins after placing the order. The woman I spoke to on the phone 3 times wasn't apologetic and I feel I was just being fobbed off and lied to.

dont waste your money ordered a Cumberland sausage sandwich it was just cheap breakfast sausage not Cumberland sausage and the bun was stale also the peanut butter cake was stale it also took 3 hours to arrive

This place is catastrophic. The first and last time I have ordered food from this place. I fancied cake at about 1:50 in the morning, so I decided to order from here. Tell me why I waited until 5 for the food to arrive?? I had rang the place up a total of 19 times. Most of which, they declined the phone call. I was told to wait outside at 3 in the morning in the freezing cold. Until she told me the driver would ring me once he stopped his car. Truly rude service. I ordered a chocolate cake sundae and the house vanilla ice cream - the house vanilla ice cream’ was a hagen daaz?? The sundae was absolutely vile. It looked like someone let loose and pissed and diarrhea shat in the cup. I had about 3 bites and I couldn’t eat anymore. Please, nobody order from this place. Avoid avoid avoid.

Having ordered at 23:30 I received a notification saying that the food had been delivered at 00:10 but nothing had arrived. We phoned and were told that the driver was 5 minutes away. At 00:30 still no food, at 01:30 still no food so we called to cancel the order and request a refund and was told "I'll see what I can do". Appalling service!!

Over an hour and half late. The cake was sloppy and tasted awful. The doughnuts were horrible. The kids refused to finish them. Overall a waste of money and I won't buy from here again. I should have read the reviews first. And I never usually leave reviews but it was really that bad.
