Good services. Good place to take a rest. Clean and dirty. It’s a good place to take a breather during the half-time. It’s flat and pretty, so you can take a rest.

Helpfull friendly staff just wish they had a wc for customers

Always come here on a trip into Cardiff city centre. Coffee is always tasty and doesn't have the burnt taste some other chains have. Customer service is always awesome even during busy periods. Very much recommend.

Inside st Davids. I do like Nero's coffee. Ok atmosphere and staff. There is an outside in centre seating area, watch people going about their lives and shopping. I usually have data connection problems. You have to register with Nero's network and get marketing messages or if you use your own service then there is a low signal issue

Great outlet with friendly, helpful staff. Although the product is the same as most of the other outlets, the great attitude of the staff makes for a great welcome.

Staff great but not the best location of all the Nero's I have been in. Cheese and Pickle sandwich was awful and could not eat it but that maybe just me.

Absolutely love coming here for a cuppa when shop, so homily staff are allways friendly and polite and the atmosphere is super relaxed with relaxing music . Can't beat it nice and peaceful 😌

Where have all your lovely staff gone? Visited this branch specifically for the friendly helpful staff. Visited today and there are new staff. Very slow service and coffee was dreadful. Very disappointed!!

Small but perfect for a caffeine top up.

Has really gone down recently. Outdoor area closed off 2.5 hours before closing time, why? Limited seating inside. Nice small area with sofas ruined by massive air conditioning next to it. Tables littered with dirty cups not collected.

The team at cafe Nero are always so happy and friendly even when it’s busy and there is a queue, recommend this coffee shop as the drinks are amazing and the workers are even better

The staff are always lovely here, about two weeks ago I asked the barista for an iced white mocha and she said she hadn't done one before but would give it a shot, and it was delicious! Best white mocha I've had!! I was going to thank her but I saw her leave on break before I got a chance to say anything or catch her name to leave a thank you, so if she sees this- thanks!!

Visited 2nd August at around 6pm. First time I’ve been to a Cafe Nero in over a year. The two staff were attentive, and waited until I stopped looking at the menu board before asking me for my order — which made me feel less rushed. I was hoping to use a Nectar voucher to buy my drink, but wanted to make sure it worked first. The lady was very patient as she double-checked for me, and took the time to go through the different milk alternatives with me as I prefer plant-based milk. I asked if they had a toilet, and although they didn’t, they informed me how to find the nearest one (in M&S). I asked if it’s ok if I pop there and collect my drink after, which they said was totally fine. When I came back, I realised the lady hadn’t finished preparing my drink — she had waited for me to return before pouring it into the glass and topping with whipped cream (took about 30 seconds so no noticeable wait for me), which was actually so considerate and really made my day. She could’ve prepared it straight away and then it would’ve been on me if the cream started melting into the drink, etc. but she made the effort to make sure my drink was 100%. Both the baristas never made me feel lesser because I wasn’t purchasing directly through them, which is always something I worry about when using vouchers and why I hadn’t used this voucher sooner. I would definitely recommend Cafe Nero to others based on this experience and hope to visit more myself as a result of these 2 lovely people. Thank you guys! Have to say that I wasn’t a fan of the drink, but don’t believe this was anything to do with the way they prepared the drink, just the drink itself was quite bland yet incredibly high in sugar when I checked it up (it was the Salted Caramel & Pistachio Frappe Crème). I think the amount of ice in these types of drinks definitely contributes to the bland, watered-down flavour so maybe the company as a whole can look into if there is a way to avoid this (e.g. using frozen milk ice, if that’s even a thing?). You could really set yourself apart from the competition as the first to create an iced drink that doesn’t just taste of ice!

Excellent coffee. The best I've ever had and I know about coffee. My mother had the first Greek restaurant in Cardiff years ago.

I needed to use the cafe to wait for my husband who had a lengthy appointment close by, coffee was excellent and no-one bothered me although I may have stayed longer than was hoped. Thank you lovely helpful, friendly staff.

Iced cappuccino is quite nice, very helpful in the summers.

My second time here in a week and they won't serve any coffee in cups the dishwasher is broken apparently, even though there are plenty of clean cups on top of the coffee machines!

Classic Nero Coffee, can't beat it

Great location. Staff was nice. Coffee is good. And to top it all off there is Matt. The best barista. Humble, sweet and always there to help. If he wasn't at this coffee shop it would not be half as good.
