Caffè Nero in City of London, Westminster

There’s a rude and haughty tall woman doing the services. She literally was shouting at her colleagues. How come this kind of people work at pastries?

Awful & rude staff. Some sniggered at customers.

Standard Caffe Nero. Not very exciting but what they do they do well.

Sausage rolls are seasoned and taste like sage and pork stuffing. Always get one for lunch. Prefer the atmosphere to a Starbucks.

We came for breakfast. We would have taken different products. We only had a £50 note. We were not allowed to pay with £50 "according to company rules". But it's not legal!!! Does the shop owner know this? Losing profits... We went to take our money elsewhere... to those who wanted it...

Two People havlng a meeting sitting at a table for four and spreading their paper work on the two spare chairs. Arriving from the hospital hoping to relax with a coffee but no chairs upstairs because of this.

Table was broken but left in place leaning on a chair, abrupt service but not aggressive.

Spent several hours here yesterday and back again today. Yesterday was a nice experience, as the staff were accommodating and friendly. I was happy to buy numerous coffees, hot chocolates and food. Today is sadly very different and all that has changed is the staff on shift.

Customer service, not very friendly. A please and a thank you wouldnt go a miss. The 2nd time I have been here in the last 3 weeks and received the same service on both occasions. If you miss-understand my order, there is no need to tut and then don't say please and thanks. Next time this is to happen I will be emailing the head office and taking my services somewhere else!

A large, relaxing Nero. Great for discrete conversations. Be aware that it's right by Bank of America, so be aware for business convos!

Excellent coffee, excellent pie, excellent people.

Very rude barrista - asked a simple question regarding one of the drinks and she rudely replied. She seems to have a very short temper and rushes every order leading to the drinks being slammed on the counter with spills. The other ladies working at this location are friendly and helpful but one bad apple ruins it for all. Avoid this place if you don't want be unnecessarily irritated

Recently tried Caffè Nero and I have to stay their Cappuccino is very very good. Lovely staff in this branch and just love the overall decor of this place.

Terrible service at Cafe Nero 118/119 Newgate St, London EC1A 7AE. The short East European lady was so rude, she slammed the cups on the counter so some coffee fell out. Then she shouted at the customer when he really did not say anything more than he had not paid yet. Terrible service and she should not be working there in that role. Shame on Nero.

Worst chai latte in London. I don't know why I bother with this chain. Their chai latte always tastes like just milk...

Recently tried Caffè Nero and I have to stay their Cappuccino is very very good. Lovely staff in this branch and just love the overall decor of this place.

Generic coffee shop but a welcome oasis in the tourist chaos.

Really nice place for a quick drink. I walk to work from cannon Street to holborn. There is a Nero at the end of cannon Street which is always packed but this one is much quieter, more space and not that far away. Will use again, boards were too confusing for me of whats what, but maybe I'm a guy of simplicity 😁.

Always a friendly welcome in this branch of Nero. Even at busy times, service is fast and efficient, environment is clean. My day always starts off well here...

Staff a little distracted with their own conversations and toilet a bit grubby. Nice tea and comfortable seating.

Helpful and quick service. Good quality coffee. Only thing I would note is that they don't appear to offer any discount for using a reusable cup which isn't as supportive of the practice as other coffee shop chains

The barista who looks like she's been dragged through a bush/been out clubbing all night needs to sort out her attitude problem

Efficient service, can get quite busy around 3pm - but this is only an indication of popularity :) also, many of the servers know regular customers’ orders instinctively. Great attention to customer service.

Staff who work here on Tuesday afternoons are quite unfriendly and always seem to be in a bad mood/ irritable. This has happened on more than one occasion - disappointing attitude towards customers.

This branch is over priced and the manager is always rude, especially when it’s busy.

Good experience from the service. Good coffee. Enough said.

My Americano was just ok. The feel of the place in terms of the ambience is average. The staff at this one was really good.

Nice place to visit before work for a coffee and a relax. Right in the city near The Old Bailey. I had a soya decaff late which was very nice.

We stopped off here to wait for an optician's appointment in the City, as it was still early. Classical music playing, great service, plenty of seating but beyond that, really good coffee in proper small cups not buckets. We had an almond croissant each and settled down to chat and people-watch out of the window. A really nice experience! I prefer Café Nero to the other coffee chains and always seek out their branches. Thanks to the two young women behind the counter!!! Great stuff!!!

Nice location, very good coffee. Good spot to have a short meeting with a couple of people, not too crowded in the morning, when I was there. I liked the sandwich, which was very good with eggs. So, I will come back for sure.

Possibly the most stupid barista i have ever seen. This equals cafe nero's Fawlty Towers. Not only did she not seem to know which order was for which customer, she blamed the coffee cup for the poor cup of coffee... It is the cup's fault she told me...Besides her command of the English language was appalling. I leave exasperated and frankly feeling like skipping any further visits to cafe nero.

Best coffee in the area, service with a smile and ample seating for regular meetings.

Nice place, I like NERO cafes in general. Understaffed though. Employees are doing their best but they are not enough. Long queue and compromised quality.

I love coffe. My favorite one is double ristretto and here they do it really well.

One of my favourite products in Caffe Nero is the strawberry milkshake. I like how cold and fresh they serve it each time I go there during my lunch brakes or just with friends when we have some free time to spend. The service is of a high quality and all the staff is friendly. However, I think that could work out the decor in a better way. Personally, I would prefer high-quality leather chairs and I will be very happy if Caffe Nero consider this.
