Filthy!! I am amazed how staff can be so lazy and disinterested. Milk arrived in a jug that was chipped and cracked down the side. The inside of the jug looked as if it had never been washed. The other tables were never cleared and the staff stood behind the counter as if they couldn’t care less. It was one of those situations where you think “will I complain?” but don’t because you think it wont make any difference. Avoid at all costs. There are much better, cleaner coffee shops on this road.

This is a truly awful place to consume any food or drink. The disabled entry press button door does not work. Upon entry to the Caffe there is a large dog bowl filled with water set upon a filthy door mat. The staff are friendly but clearly not trained on basic hygiene matters for example passing cups of coffee to customers by holding fingers on both sides of the drinking lips. The cleared table was stained and the seats sticky to the touch. To simplify this review it is enough to say that the disabled toilet facility should be avoided.

Staff were lovely and quick to serve the queue but my coffee was lukewarm at best. Wasn't helped by the fact that I chose to sit outside due to the amount of dogs inside. I love dogs too but this is a food establishment. There was a small dog growling and another which was up on the sofa with the owner being hand fed from a plate. Another owner was also sitting at sofas with a large collie type dog. This dog was wet. You could smell it. It wasn't sitting on the floor or on a lead , it was freely wandering around licking the tops of tables (low tables where toddlers could put their hands ) it contined to lick around the chairs , the floor and the fabric sofa all while the owner was on her phone. On the other side of the room were 2 more muddy westies. Won't be back anytime soon because I think this is really unhygienic and while I could sit outside, it wasn't exactly good weather .

I love Nero's coffee so this review is about the bacon bap I ordered to go with my capachino that I ordered for delivery. Plus the fact that they don't seem to respond to reviews on "Just Eat". Come on Nero you can do much better than this. First of all I didn't receive the brown sauce I requested however brown sauce would have been too good for the bap I received. It was pitiful, really disappointing and I cannot understand that for approx £4.30 for this item why it was as flat as a pancake with what appears to be a few low quality slices of streaky bacon. Sorry Nero but this was a complete rip off. If you want to take some advice do not put the likes of this on your menu if you cannot deliver on quality. If you want to research what a bacon bap is like just go down the road and have a look at Tim Hortons offering. Enough said.

I've been going to this Cafe Neros for several years now. The coffee is always good, and the staff were great (new personnel today and they're nowhere near as professional as the last time i was there). So no issues there. My problem is being made to feel uncomfortable by some of the regular clientelle. I can only assume the dirty looks i got this morning were because i had the audacity to sit at a table that some feel they have the seniority to sit at ahead of me. This has happened several times ovew the years where if if i get there early several people who come in after me look very disconcertingly at either me, or the seat i'm in. I'm sorry - but until Neros operates a 'pre-book your seat' option, you'll just have to live with people sitting at tables. Today, a guy deliberately sat with his back to the table i was at and pushed his chair back and at an angle so that my friend was unable to get his chair out enough to sit down. I had to ask politely several times if he could pull his chair forward for a second. He point blank refused to. Now, this was hilarious... i'm chuckling now at how beligerant and irate he became. I'm 48, and mannerly. If i'm blocking someone's seat i'll apologise and do what i can to be courteous. So seeing this petulance from a man in his latter years amused me greatly. He actually stood up like a petulant toddler and pointed to the seats stating "he's got the same room as me". Bless. Then a couple of minutes after he had settled, another regular (who han't seen or heard any of this by the way) came in and also gave me 'the eye' as he walked past our table. This was getting ridiculous. So this -ve review isn't directed to the staff, or faclitites as such. But these customers who make me the experience really quite irritating. So neither myself, or my friend will be darkening the door of that Neros again. If only Clements were open early in the morning. Ah well... there's always Mauds. Anything's better than this grown-up Funky Monkeys. ;)

used to love going here.Nice atmosphere and good coffee even though there never seem to be enough staff to keep the tables clean and tidy. The tables and chairs have got very grubby and need to be refurbished. The final nail in the coffin has been the admittance of dogs. Word has spread and now every person in East Belfast with a dog is paying a visit. I have seen them on their owners knees ,noses on the tables and the final straw was a woman feeding her dog from her spoon. Is this the same spoon that was offered to me with my coffee? Surely in a venue that serves food dogs should be kept outside.

Caffè Nero’s is such a great place to meet for coffee, it’s always comfortable and doesn’t have too much background noise so you can have a conversation easily. Recommend the chai latte

This is a lovely coffee shop with excellent hard working staff. Great service provided and very popular throughout the day. Lovely lemon flavoured muffins and top notch scones, sandwiches and paninis available. Very comfortable to relax in a comfy armchair and watch the world go by outside.

The staff in this branch are particularly friendly compared to other coffee shops in the area and other Caffe Nero branches I have been to. Service is quick and I've never had a problem. Would love to see more vegan food options though!

Coffee and service was as expected from this chain of coffee shops but the furniture was very shabby and the worn carpet was full of crumbs - disappointing. Maybe it was just a bad day.

First ever visit to here and I was more than impressed! Set in a fabulous spacious but cosy building I could have easily taken a book and spent the day there reading and drinking coffee. Really wonderful staff who are friendly, efficient and very welcoming. Just a shame it wasn't closer to my home. Will definitely be back.

This has recently become a regular spot for me for the past 3 months. It is super convenient where it is and parking available near by. The staff are really nice and have a chat when they are serving me. I do like to sit outside and the only thing lacking would be an outside cover for when it rains.

If I could give 0 I would!! Stood waiting whilst 4 staff members talked next to a fridge for a good few minutes with no one else waiting at the bar. When I was finally noticed the lad behind the bar merely looked at me did not greet me at all. I ordered my drinks and he looked at the fridge unable to find a Pinot Grigio when I asked if they had any he simply said no. I went ahead and order a different wine, with no apology the staff member told me the price and that was it. No thank you or comment at all!! For £16+ for a wine and a beer at the very least a friendly member of staff would be nice. Shocking service!!

Had a great bite to eat here. Burger & the relish were really good. Never usually see a chippy with seating areas so that was a big plus for me.

Got turned away with a real government issue passport, that is a photo of me, and showed my banking app and card to PROVE the person on the id was me. Absolutely horrid service, got shouted at by a man pushing 50, I believe he was the manager. Said I had a big nose, insanely rude to everyone else. Paranoid little guy.

We ate in this restaurant in the Hilton before going to a concert in the Waterfront Hall next door. We were there around 5.30 and were the only people in at that time. Some background music but little atmosphere. The food was tasty - we had starters and main courses - goats cheese and prawn cocktail and a cheeseburger and chicken. Service was slow for a pre theatre menu. We had to ask for the dessert to be rushed to be in time for the concert. All in all it was satisfactory but not an inviting experience.
