Called in for lunch today whilst in the area. Good selection of food to suit all tastes and dietary requirements. Pleasant staff with quick service. Prices are reasonable.

When I came here the staff were very rude and dismissive. I ordered a pain au chocolat which was raw in the middle with just inedible slimy dough, something I didn't even know was possible. I then waited 10 minutes for my drink and only got it 5 minutes later when I reminded the very moody barista of my drinks existence. Not a pleasant experience, if I can come back here it'll be too soon

I come to Cafe and co quite often as its local to me. Food always lovely, staff always very nice.

Nice place. Tasty breakfast good portions. Good coffee options. Little cramped when busy. Could benefit with some user friendly furniture like coat hangers etc.

Visited this morning, ordered a builder’s breakfast and a flat white. Everything was average - not so bad that I’d dissuade you from coming but also not worth travelling for. The bacons were overcooked (I suspect cooked more than once), the sausages were average, the eggs were decent, the hash browns were greasy, the mushrooms and tomato average. The flat white tasted exactly like the one I bought from Costa the day before - in other words, for my plebeian taste buds - average.

One of the best independent cafe’s around. Great lattes.

Popped in this morning and thought it looked ok (potential to be great)….only wanted a drink, was tempted to get food but saw how pricey it was and stuck with original plan to get a drink…pot of the for two…my cup was dirty so took it back to swap it and the replacement was worse and the third was just about ok…sat back down I lifted the teapot lid to see it grimy and stained so took it back for an exchange and though they swapped it for a cleaner one (still not fab) I was put off and couldn’t drink it…bleach your cups and teapots over night then rinse and whack em in dish wash next morning…easy peasy

Looked lovely,unfortunately staff Looked at me with utter disdain as I asked for a table for 3 people and a waitress who looked totally uninterested replied we've only got 3 tables for 2 ,no customer service,no trying to keep our custom so we left and went elsewhere

immediately as we walked in the cafe we were not acknowledged if anything we were ignored, when we asked if they had any tables there was no apology but they said they only had small tables of 2 (there was 3 of us) and were very rude and ignorant to us, we walked out straight away as we felt dismissed and didn’t want to eat there anyway with that service. do not recommend

My daughter went in for an ice cream with her "pocket money" , we asked for a price as she was paying as a fun day and it was 3 pound for one scoup, pricey but it's her money, she added sauce and sprinkles and went up to £3.60 and the staff could not of been more disinterested in us or the little girl in front of them excited to spend her money. Horrible atmosphere every time I go in, will be avoiding in future.

Absolutely gorgeous food, fantastic menu, clean and pleasant surroundings, child friendly, staff amazing. Well worth it, value for money. I had vegan sausage with Chile on sourdough it was fantastic.

Brilliant place for breakfast. Lovely coffee, friendly staff and really tasty food. Menu caters for all. I strongly recommend visiting if you live locally or, like me, passing through Liverpool.

Every time we come home to Rainhill, breakfast here is a must.

Lovely coffee and friendly staff, lovely decor inside. I had the builders breakfast and didn't enjoy much to be honest. The Sausages were nice, eggs "snotty", bacon pre cooked and then barely finished off ready for plating. So quite an anemic look on the side that wasn't pre cooked. Mushrooms were so greasy, the grease made them unappealing to eat and the taste was non existent bar the taste of oil. Would visit for the coffee but as for the food, I'd not eat there again.

Great staff, great coffee, great food! Pav and the team make you feel welcome, customer service and speed of service is great. Food and drink is really high quality. Bang bang chicken tacos are the best!

Milkshakes not worth £4.50 didn’t have any flavour was like water and was clumps of ice cubes at the bottom, staff looked as if they was looking right threw you! Rude!

Lovely independent coffee shops serving associated snacks bites, cakes etc. Very popular and normally well frequented.

What a lovely place. Happy, friendly and professional staff. Lovely scran, wonderful tea/coffee etc and a decent menu. Really nice relaxed atmosphere. Wheelchair friendly, parking 100 metres away (approx). A little ray of sunshine on a miserable and wet day. They have some outdoor seating on nicer days. A little gem in the heart of the village.

Only had a coffee which was very good.

Little bit shocked. All members of staff standing around with their phones in their hand. Fixing a problem with their food just after asking twice. Cake was nice. Toilet wasn't the cleanest.

Was OK but for the size of the coffee I got was not worth what they charged me.

Sat out in the garden with a lovely cappuccino, and my granddaughter enjoyed a tasty ice cream cone.the staff were so friendly and cheery, never rushed us as they were due to close. It's a shame that the caffe isn't open into early evenings especially in the summer months as I have gone for a coffee and no where open .

4 months ago i would have rated higher. We started off really liking it here. Recent 2 visits have been a disappointment so won't be going back. Trying to get a HOT cup of coffee is a mission, not to mention putting the staff out for asking a simple request of sticking it in the microwave.

It's a small cafe in Rainhill food was fantastic and a good choice of food. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this cafe and if you got infant babies it's a breastfeeding friendly cafe.

We called here on the spare of the moment and I'm glad we did. The service is fast and friendly, the place was busy but clean and tidy, most of all though, the food was great. We'll definitely be going again.

We've been here more than 10 times before now and we're always blown away by the food, so decided that we ought to finally sing praises. Staff are always welcoming and communicative, they can't do enough for you. Caffè & Co. is such a valuable asset for the lovely village of Rainhill. Really wish I could give more than 5 🌟 The hallouomi fries are stellar too

We had father's day breakfast, here they don't usually take table bookings but I explained we were bringing my partner out of hospital they reserved us a table for the occasion. The food was lovely quick service even though it was very busy. Thank you

Went at 11am, gets inside and staff are all chatting with one another, gets told to take a seat, table was filthy. Was busy but few spaces available. Waited a while and went up to order only to be told they're too busy to take food orders so we'll have to wait. I wondered why if they were so busy were they stood around chatting to each other and not cleaning tables or trying to move things along. The staff were really dismissive. Won't go back

Fantastic staff, funny, kind, humourous and just downright helpful. The coffee is good as was the menu, go here if you're anywhere near Rainhill, it deserves to be a roaring success!!

Very nice breakfast with big portions and very quick service only recommendation is that you do a large veggie breakfast similar to the builders one other than that a really good experience

We did the start up course with Neil. Spent the day with him learning all about the mechanics of starting up our own coffee shop business. Neil was really knowledgeable and friendly, and we learnt a great deal. We also enjoyed a fantastic lunch and the coffees were, as you would expect, great. Would certainly recommend this course to anyone considering taking this step. The after-care is equally helpful, and Neil is very happy to share advice over email when we have any questions. And it’s all tax-deductible 😊

Definitely the best breakfast in town and do great coffee. You can tell the food is good quality and the team are always happy to change the items on the breakfast if there are any you don't want. Would definitely recommend going there for breakfast.
