Best title chippy going. Lovely staff, all way time for a chat . Fantastic kebabs with fresh salad and lots of sauce to choose from. Beautiful fish ,snowy white inside.

Not been in for a while, used to live nearby Called last night Spent the entire time I was waiting listening to foul mouthed exchanges between a member of staff and hoodied customer I am no angel or prude, but don't need to listen to that. I know it's not a silver service restaurant but I expect some manners Food average at best.

I can't share my thoughts on the food as they only take cash and I only had my card on me. But why do they only take cash

I now unfortunately cannot climb the steps into the shop for my order, but the staff have been brilliant getting myorder to me. He fish and chips are delicious.

Totally disregard the opening times, they stop preparing food to order 15-20 minutes before closing. Staff are unfriendly & disrespectful, food not much better, stay away, you’d be better off eating road kill

Straight in the bin. Asked for large chips and got a small portion in a large tray.. The chips wasn't cooked enough and full of oil. The curry was cold and watered down. The fish was tiny and the batter was falling off the fish full of grease..

Simply the best .alan the boss joanne and staff are fantastic really good food chips and curry to die for xx

Good chippy, the fish didn't have too much batter on and it was very tasty chips good and there was a great choice in the menu.

The place is nice and the staff are friendly bjt ultimately it’s graded for me on its food which was very very poor. The chips were anaemic and small, quite sweaty and under done. portion size was small for a large chips, comparatively to other places it was poor. Fish wasnt fresh and quite bland Peas were quite tough Gravy salty and no flavour you’d expect Sausage was fine and no issues Steak pie was fine and no issues Overall it wasn’t a great meal, wouldn’t go back anytime soon. Poor quality, poor portion size although the price was quite reasonable but maybe you get what you pay for

Had the best fish and chips last night it was absolutely spot on! The curry, gravy & peas were delicious, couldn’t fault! Highly recommended

Absolute rip off and deeply unpleasant staff. I'm sick and tired of spending my money here and getting ripped off. Every time I go I ask for a large chips and I am served with a small portion. Same happened again this evening and I had enough and raised the issue. The reaction of the woman serving me was deeply unpleasant as she returned, what another customer called the death stare. No please or thank you from her from that point on AND I AM THE CUSTOMER. I won't be returning here again and my experience would advise anyone reading to avoid

This place has gotten better over the years,food is lovely Very clean and tidy Staff are very friendly pleasant and helpful It's just had a new face-lift outside looks very trendy now,especially when the canopies and lights go up. Scouse girl,lovin' it. 👌👌👌👌👌

Great little chippy! The only reason I gave a 3 star for service was because on my last visit the first portion of wrapped food was literally thrown on the counter..it would appear to be a "one off" and it won't stop me from returning! 👍

Great chips and really good fish.. Not too much batter... A good selection of other items and reasonable prices... A good place to go when you are fancying a " chippie tea"...

Staff need to learn customer service,and stop serving greasy scraps of chips up. Bad enough that in this day and age ,no card machine..it took me 3 card machines to get cash for this..giving this a wide berth from now on!!.

Not as good as the ratings Chips were brown n greasy Cod was thin and dry also the peas tasted liked they been there for ages.

Missed my bus it was raining and 30 mins next one. Called in here lovely lady did me portion of chips said I was ok eating them there....perfectly cooked fresh and hot took half home earned up later spot on "I'll be back...."

Lovely food had a pensioner special £3.35 fish chips and onion gravy , fish was fresh and crisp and cooked perfect chips spot on and gravy lovely, decent size fish too for the price -update 29/12/22 went again and did not disappoint, tasty fresh good kebab meat juicy what I had as a taster and staff was tasty too back in 1978 they said 🤣🤣

Not been in for a while but thought I’d try again there was about 4 members of staff and only 1 was serving the other girls where on the phone or checking their face in the mirror really let down used to be a nice place will not come again like a circus

First time using Haydock Supper Bar for us tonight. Fantastic quality and incredibly reasonable prices. No wonder it's so busy! We will definitely be back again.

Always go here when Mum wants a chippy tea. Good value, good portions.

I drive here from Liverpool sometimes because their gravy is to die for!

Wouldn't rate the food at all. I couldn't eat it as the chips wasn't cooked long enough and raw in the middle I also paid for the food and didn't get what I asked for 🙄.

Thanks to Toms chippy for the advice went back our local chippy it was brilliant as always

One of the Best tasting chippies I’ve come across, I’ve lived in many cities and this is up there with the few that I’ve liked ! their curry sauce is top notch too it’s even rarer to find somewhere that does good curry sauce , spot on.. staff are always friendly and welcoming too 👌🏾👍🏾

Had.some fabulous fish and chips from this place. Fish and chips done to perfection and mot greasy.

Soggy undercooked chips, you only had one thing to get right. Some of the staff don't even wear a face mask...discusting !

Recently moved about 10 minutes away from here and fancied a chippy tea. 100% the best chippy I've ever been to. Fish was perfectly battered, not greasy and flakey, chips were all soft and cooked through. Curry sauce is the best I've ever had and the gravy I'm going to start buying to put on my roast dinner. 10/10 from me, I will definitely be going back!

Not a trace of friendliness and soggy chips - don't know how it got all these good reviews - very disappointing, might help if they tell you the system if something needs cooking to order. Will try somewhere else next time.

1st visit here a few weeks back, just fancied some fish&chips with lockdown rules on I was t sure they was open until I rang. Lovely friendly staff, clean chippy and social distancing down to a tea. Also best chips and fish I've had for a while, will definitely be back soon.

Go here every Saturday. Normally order my usual but thought I'd mix it up a bi . Bought a tikka and chips and after an hour of consumption I couldn't get off the toilet. Normally it's great but I think the tikka may have been off

Growing up, this was my local chippy. I love the selection, the quality, the price. I now live away from home (on a different continent) yet every time I make it home I make a point of going here. Quite possibly my favourite place to eat on the whole planet, and I've visited a fair few. The portions have definitely shrunk recently, but this is not enough to knock a star off.

1st time to supper bar, it won't be my last. Outstanding, chips melt in your mouth, the grave tho is next level, fish is outrageously good. Fantastic food
