Cafe Stina in Birmingham

I recently visited Cafe Stina and had an unpleasant experience with two women at the counter. 2 women exhibited unprofessional behavior by laughing behind my back and rudely saying "bye" to me. As a disability individual, I found their lack of patience and understanding during our communication to be extremely disappointing. This is unacceptable, and I will not be returning.

My visit left me deeply disappointed. Not only did I encounter blatant discrimination, but the staff’s attitude was shockingly unprofessional. Discrimination should never have a place in any establishment. The 2 women’s demeanor was equally disheartening. They seemed disinterested, bordering on rude. When I asked about the menu, and help with communication but they can’t bother to communicate with us even they start laugh at us, the server sighed impatiently and provided minimal information. Also I have polite to ask for menu but told me pick up yourself in tills. leaving us feeling neglected.

Not sure why they take too long to make coffee latte. Twice I've been there and it's not busy and the service is below average. Please fix up!

Good prices Calm & Quiet Very friendly

The place felt a bit dull and boring. The staff came across as they weren't interested or they're not bothered. Food was not nice it was like a quick cheap job even though they took so long. Wasn't impressed at all!

I had egg & cheese omelete with toast very nice, nice atmosphere, friendly people. Excellent pricing, quick service, clean, nice lighting. Offers hot and cold drinks. Recommend to friends and family. Toilet facilities clean and tidy. Halal food.

The best independent cafe this side of Birmingham!

Great staff, child friendly environment, nice understated decor, clean. food has always been of a good quality including cakes and desserts. Their take on desi breakfast is different to the usual chain places like chaiwala, omelette isn't paper thin. I'm particular about my coffee but it's always on point at Stina. Very competitive pricing, great value for money, probably the best cafe on the parade.

Aleema was great help and amazing at her job the coffee was very nice, the place was very clean and tidy. 10/10.

Nasty breakfast, half of the items on the menu were not available. Toast and beans were cold. Customer service was appalling. THE GUY AT THE COUNTER NEEDS TO CHEER UP YOU GET MORE SMILE OF A CORPSE

We were greeted by a member of staff smoking at the door. The loud music first thing in the morning isn't really the vibe I was looking for. It was turned down on request only to be turned up when the smoker returned. The food was nice and good value. The smoothie was poor almost tasteless. It was also forgotten. It was meant as the nearest thing to an orange juice. Begs the question why a breakfast place doesn't just have orange juice. The furniture is aesthetically pleasing but ergonomically poor. Two people sat on one side of table is a squeeze because it's tight for the 2 chairs to fit between legs of table. Overall the food was good but the rest leaves a bit to be desired.

Lovely atmosphere and staff are very friendly snd accommodating.

Lovely Coffee ,I wasn't sure what to have so the owner gave me a coffee to try for free .Great service and reasonably priced

We got the cinnamon roll’s and a Full Stina Breakfast. The cinnamon rolls were freshly made and the Full Stina Breakfast was tasty and went down well. The portions are perfect size too. Also, one of the staff members called Andrei had overheard us wanting to sit outside and as soon as a table became free, he cleaned it and arranged for us to be seated there without us asking him. Overall, we were very happy with the food and service. Will definitely be coming back. 👍🏽👌🏽

I love coming to Stina. I’m proud to say that I’m a regular customer here. The service is great: the staff are lovely people and attentive to customers. The whole aesthetic of the cafe - like the cute chairs and overall clean and simple look - is very pleasant to be around. From what I’ve tried so far, the jacket potato, pratha and omelette, tuna toasties, iced coffee, muffins and Terry’s cheesecake is delicious.

Lovely little café, relaxing atmosphere, lovely food and friendly staff

Lovely place, a nice personal touch and private feel, unlike these franchises, the food was made with love, the banana milkshake and karak chai was lovely and made differently, price was good as well not over the top and reasonably priced, the owner was fab and overall great experience with a lovely person touch with the food. Keep it up.

By far the most amazing hostess, polite accommodating deserves more than five stars. Food is beautiful!! Mojitos are a must!!! Atmosphere is calm and friendly. Will travel back as much as I can for the food and the service.

The lady who served, smiled at me as I entered, made my day! To top that up, their omelette was ideal, I'm a picky eater, I like things in a particular way but she got it spot on. I got a slice of cheesecake as a takeaway and that too was brilliant, the place has got a sense of belonging, if you want a breakfast, afternoon lunch or just a coffee, this is your place for Hall Green, great place also to take someone out for a coffee, nice inside and outside seating, great decor. Will go there again 👌🏼

Love this cafe. The food and drinks are great and It’s got a lovely atmosphere and the staff are so friendly and welcoming that I have now become a regular here and the kids really like it too.

Unquestionably, the best coffee shop in the area! The atmosphere inside this coffee shop was very vibrant and relaxing. I will definitely rate them a five-star for everything that they provided. Truly amazing!

Lovely good and brilliant service. U have got to try the omelette and pratha. The prices are definitely a plus point. Hot drink was bang on point.

A really nice Cafe with friendly staff and great coffee / food. Very reasonably priced, I would recommend the omelette with Paratha - tasty. The outdoor terrace is a bonus on a sunny day.

Lovely little cafe in hall green. Really fresh and modern. The food was really tasty, came out speedily and was well presented. Great atmosphere and the staff are really lovely there! They cater for vegans also with having alternative milks which is perfect for my dietary needs!

Great hot chocolate but have to be honest, breakfast was poor. I feel bad as the waitress tried but it really wasn't upto scratch. The bread was soaked in butter, the sausages were from tahira, frozen kind and we waited ages for it. On a positive note, portion size was good for £5.95. I have to say the croissants were very good and so were the muffins, tasted very similar to Costco. I will give them another go and update this review as I'm keen to give new businesses a chance.

This cafe is refreshing as it serves a traditional English style menu which is simple yet different to other places within the area and would 100% recommend especially for your morning coffee fix.
