Amazing Cafe for Breakfast & Lunch. We’re local and consistently go to rose as it’s the one of the best breakfast places in Pembrokeshire! Highly recommend the rose fry up for breakfast and the kofte wrap or chicken schwarma wrap for lunch!

Friendly genuine Turkish restaurant with authentic food.

Called in as refugees from the rain intending to have a coffee and cake but decided to heat ourselves up with the wonderful Turkish lentil soup with toasted sourdough. Friendly table service in well furnished and decorated rooms. Would recommend and return if we are back in the area.

I'm always suspicious about places with such high ratings, but I'm happy to report that Cafe Rose easily earns 5 stars. The food was amazing, we had feta and courgette fritters and the shakshuka, both incredibly delicious. The decor is beautifully quirky and the service was perfect, they dealt with our parties gluten and dairy allergies with ease. It's also dog friendly, so all our boxes well and truly ticked. Cannot recommend it highly enough, thank you.

What a find. We happened upon this cafe for breakfast. First of all we were warmly welcomed by a lovely waitress. I had coffee and pancakes and my husband had the full English breakfast - coffee and food were absolutely delicious 🙂. Highly recommend

Such a lovely welcome & helpful. We weren’t sure what we wanted to eat but was offered a menu & told lots of specials too! Spoilt for choice! We both decided on leek & potato soup with sourdough. Truly amazing flavours & good sized helping delicious. It was busy but had a really nice atmosphere, staff were helpful without being overly intrusive, just nice thank you. If we’re this way again we’ll definitely visit.

Wonderful 😍 The food was absolutely delicious, we had the falafel salad bowl and shakshuka with feta. Would highly recommend 😋 The staff were very welcoming and friendly and it had a lovely atmosphere. Plus the fresh mint tea was so refreshing.

Wow!!!! We are so glad we looked online for a nice cafe in Pembroke. This is a little gem and it is made so much nicer by the welcoming staff. Our waitress connected with us and was so kind. We had the most incredible toasties, bacon, brie and cranberry. The bread was thick and homemade, can't even describe how amazing it was, it and with a lovely side salad and slaw with a beautiful dressing. You must visit here if you are in Pembroke. Lovely, friendly staff really did make the experience for us!!!

Astonishingly good. Outstanding. As we passed this bustling busy high street cafe not far from the castle I thought it had interesting an eclectic menu. It piqued my interest. I was not disappointed. I had the vegetarian breakfast. It is not often that I go overboard in praise of a breakfast menu. I am too often disappointed. But this was it utterly delicious. Interesting combination of ingredients all cooked to perfection. We are here for a week and it was so good that I think I will need to persuade my partner to go back to Pembroke just for another try of this excellent food.

We visited here for lunch after a rainy day visit to Pembroke Castle. The staff did everything they could to accommodate us,, even encouraging us to get our orders in quickly before the kitchens closed. The food was beautiful in every way and reasonably priced. A real gem.

Wow Excellent food. Shawarma was very tasty. Aubergine and halloumi burger was delicious, full of flavour. Very nice and attentive staff. Toasty was enormous and hugely enjoyable. Loo was stocked well and the tap was rather odd. Over all a great experience.

Amazing place in the Heart of Pembroke for food. Service was top class and the food was even better. Couldn't fault it! Clearly an establishment where care is taken in everything! Recommend! Even dog friendly!

Had a lovely lunch here, the beef kofte wrap was immense and very tasty, my husband had the meze platter, which he enjoyed. Our dogs were made to feel welcome and had a water bowl brought over for them too. Our little one with her party tricks trying to get everyone’s attention was the star of our visit. Thank you

Excellent Mediterranean breakfast menu which is a real breath of fresh air of you’re after something different from the usual brunch options. Very friendly staff. Wish I had space for the cakes as they looks amazing!

I like this cafe. The food looks good and is different from other cafe's in the area. The staff have always been very attentive and willing to help with any question. There are toilets here, but if you are physically challenged, there is a step down to get to. All in all a great dining experience.

Fantastic food , service and atmosphere . Myself and my husband booked for Tapas on Friday evening and we were so impressed . The quality of the food is wonderful and with the service and the actual ambiance all rolled in it was the perfect evening.They also have some delicious wines to choose from.We would highly recommend Cafe Rose to you all .

Lovely little place, staff were great. Both had latte and they were very good, the top was well done. Had a lovely piece of Lemon and Almond Cake - which tbh was a little small for the price i thought, but was very light and tasty

From the outside it's quite easy to pass this one by, in fact we did today whilst looking for a lunch stop. It was only as we walked back right in front of it that we realised it was a café. As we waited for a table, a customer on his way out told us we'd enjoy the food. He was indeed right. We had the kofte wrap and fries and it was superb. I wish we were in the area for longer so we could return.

Needed lunch after exploring the castle, called into Rose as options were limited. So glad we did. Friendly service, great menu, delicious food. We had Lebanese Moussakaand chicken shawarma wrap. Both fantastic.

Delicious food and changed the mezze plate to be vegetarian. Lovely people and lovely food. Aubergine and Halloumi burger is the best burger I have ever had.

Fancied trying somewhere new and local to us and Cafe Rose was our choice. It was a good choice. Was able to book in advance on the day (Friday) but it was full tonight so I recommend advance booking. Whilst the evening menu is not hugely extensive the mix of indidual dishes is really good and more than adequate. The food itself was excellently prepared and tasted lovely. We will be back and will bring friends next time.

The servers were very polite and the food was really good. Good vegetarians options. The only reason I haven't given it a 5 star was because the food took almost 40 minutes to arrive. We didn't book and were politely informed they'd need the table back in am hour, which was fine. But then I'd expect them to serve us promptly too. But other than that, I'd recommend this cafe. Great music too.

I haven’t posted a review for some time but our experience last night at Cafe Rose has prompted me to do so this morning. We went for our first meze evening last night. We’ve coffee’d, breakfasted and brunched on many occasions (which have also always been excellent) but last night was our first evening and I’ve got to say we had the best food we’ve had anywhere for a very long time. The food, the service, the wine, the ambiance were all excellent. I can’t fault anything. The only thing I wish is that we’d been in the evening a long time ago. I can’t recommend it enough.

Update: popped in again mid week, still awesome. If you haven’t had lunch (or breakfast) in Pembroke, try here first. They know how to make great food and they know how to do great service. I rang up on the off-chance they might be able to accommodate 11 of us and they couldn’t straight away but they made a table for us and managed not to grimace at all our various requests. Previous review in next paragraph as I’m not typing a completely new one and everything I said first time still stands. Sooooo soooooo tasty!!!! I had the Cilbir (Turkish eggs) which is essentially poached eggs on a bed of garlicky natural yoghurt drizzled with a spicy sauce of (I’m not sure, either butter or oil) mixed with Aleppo pepper (a bit like chilli flakes). Two of us had the mixed mezze and another of us plumped for a ham and cheese toastie. All four dishes were delicious and so were the chai teas apparently (not my thing, I had a beer). Put it this way, I would DEFINITELY have been back again today but they’re closed on Sundays 😭. Heartily recommend!! 👍🏻 (As you can see, we did go back and we will again. Also, my photos don’t do it justice.)

Really lovely breakfast at Cafe Rose. I would advise booking as it gets super busy at the weekend! The lady that served us was so warm and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. She was able to advise us on the menu and help with and questions that we had. Food was delicious, i would highly recommend here for breakfast

Excellent restaurant/cafe. Very laid back atmosphere with a real taste of Turkish food. The breakfasts are very good too. It's a real treat to have The Rose in Pembroke. I walk past every day and the smell of cooking is mouthwatering. All freshly cooked authentic Turkish food.

Popular venue in Pembroke main street probably due to the fact that it looks to be the only real cafe around. Guess it can get really busy at times but worth it for a decent cup of coffee.

Amazing experience at Cafe Rose, Food was impeccable and service arguably even better. Really relaxed place, nice setting and good music too. Would definitely visit next time in Pembroke! (Didn’t try the turkish options, but they sounded unbelievable too)

Four women meet every couple of weeks to get together, catch up and enjoy some lunch whilst we do this. This day we chose Cafe Rose, looks are deceiving, as from the outside it doesn't look big enough for an eatery and you cannot see much looking in. When you open the door, stepping down off the street, you are hit by this amazing aroma, welcoming staff and people enjoying their meals. A real treat lies in store for those who come in, food is beautiful, freshly served, always hot and very tasty. A meal full of eastern promise. Recommend to friends for flavoursome breakfasts and light lunches. I have been informed they now open on selected nights, which would no doubt be amazing, looking forward to seeing an evening menu.

We popped in here for dinner on a Friday evening. We didn't have a reservation but they squeezed us in and were really friendly and helpful. The food was really delicious. Highly recommended. Looked good for gluten free as well - lots of options.

An absolute gem of a find in Pembroke High Street. Can't understand why we haven't eaten here before.. just fabulous! Warm and welcoming cafe with a great menu. Service was excellent and the range of food was really good. As a plant based diner there was a nice selection of really tasty and well presented dishes. Something for everyone in this authentic and reasonably priced eatery. I am more than happy to highly recommend this cafe but I would say BOOK AHEAD as it is clealry a popular choice. Thank you Cafe Rose.. we will be back!

Fabulous. Really tasty food (I had English breakfast) and a bit different. The place was really busy at lunchtime on a Saturday with most parties having booked, which was great to see but the service was still excellent. We'll be back to try other things on the menu, especially the Turkish meals.

Love this Cafe, Food is great and staff are really nice. The room is lovely and feels warm and welcoming. Most of the food is reasanobly priced and there is something here for everyone, even picky eaters!

Really love this place! It’s a really valuable addition to Pembroke. We’ve been a few times in the day and loved it but our favourite time to go is in the evening. It’s such a lovely menu - everything we’ve had has been superb. We’ve just been again this evening and had another really lovely experience. I particularly loved the calamari and also the mushroom croquettes but the whipped feta and the goats cheese, walnut and beetroot were gorgeous too. We always have a warm welcome and great service. Highly recommended. Thank you, Rose Cafe, for doing what you do so well.

Best tapas we’ve ever had! And we have a lot of tapas. We had the mushroom croquettes, patata harra, hummus, prawns and sausages. Every dish was the best version of that thing we’ve had. The croquettes were so good we ordered a second portion to take home. Lovely decor (christmassy) & fantastic service by everyone. Perfect meal :)

Quirky decor, great food with excellent service. I had a very tasty chicken shwarma with a delicious piquant cole slaw. My wife chose the sucek that came with a crisp salad and cole slaw. Both dishes were wonderfully tasty. The staff were attentive without being intrusive. It is a very popular venue with locals - that speaks volumes. Good idea to 'phone ahead if you are thinking of lunch. Oh - it is dog-friendly also!

Hands down the best cafe/restaurant in pembroke. Amazing authentic Turkish/Middle Eastern cuisine. The Chilbir is a real favourite of mine. The Turkish coffee will knock your socks off, superb.

The food was absolutely amazing, my partner and me ordered Turkish Eggs and Halloumi wrap. Both were full of flavour, portion size is generous as well. Turkish coffee to finish the meal was very aromatic. Must go to in Pembroke.

Excellent authentic food and value

This place is friendly with excellent staff who quietly move about ensuring visitors are well catered for without intruding attention. The food is very good and as a vegetarian I can highly recommend the Halloumi wrap which had roasted aubergine and onions cooked in harissa...

I ordered an all day breakfast. I was disappointed that the menu specifically said sausages (there was a plural used on the menu) and I just received the one sausage which, sadly, was quite small. Luckily my partner gave me hers otherwise I would have said something. So best to ask the staff how many sausages you'll get beforehand..even though you really shouldn't have to ask. Especially as the minimum requirement should be 2 for each meat. Moaning aside, the quality of the breakfast was the best I've had and the staff were friendly.
