The cafe is nicely decorated and there are tables both inside and out. Would be lovely to sit outside when the sun is out and warmer. We went for breakfast - the Mediterranean breakfast was superb: the scrambled eggs with tomato and sausages tasted incredible, coupled well with nice toasts. Egg Benedict’s were lovely, good portion! Bagel was slightly disappointing - a little too small; better with some salads or garnish.

Unfortunately really let down, young waitresses with the blonde hair were very unprofessional and clearly didn't want to be there. Food wasn't great either.

Visited here today for the first time and can't wait to go back already! We had the pancakes for breakfast and they were delicious with a perfect amount of topping. The staff were friendly and managed to fit us in without a booking which wasn't easy as it's clearly very popular.

Visited the Cafè today with my 7 month old and it was such a lovely, welcoming and child friendly atmosphere. Archie, the person who served our lunch was super accommodating and helpful storing my pram for me. Will definitely be returning :) Thanks Archie!

We enjoyed our lunch. We had a mezze for one and a panini. They had run out of sausage for the maze but gave me another choice. They had also run out of churros. The café is clean and pleasant. The staff were friendly.

Had a lovely brunch yesterday celebrating my son’s 16th birthday. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. The staff were amazing and made us feel very welcome. Great value for money too! Thank you all x

Located at the heart of Culcheth village Piccinos is a coffee shop come bistro with a great ambience … all the staff are very welcoming … my grandchildren love going there especially for the freshly made pancakes and to meet “high five man” so called as high five’s are exchanged with the children whenever we go 👍😆 I especially the unique genre of music they play which accompanies the relaxing views on the big screen The service and the coffee are both great and without doubt a #cotsaward is well deserved … I never have to ask they know me well by now 😁 Pay them a visit and make your own mind up

Owner and Staff very friendly, nothing is any trouble, the food was delicious especially the Sea Bass.

I visited with my wife, two grandsons and son. Ordered coffee and cheesecake, two coffees and two apple juice. The coffee was absolutely delicious. The cheesecake was even more delicious. The service offered was excellent, warm and friendly and was very, very welcoming. I will definitely be returning. Well done Piccino Restaurant

Lovely little cafe with great food choices (I had breakfast) and cappuccinos. I highly recommend this if you love good food, nice attentive staff, chill music and a laid back vibe ❤️☀️ (In the photo I’d already eaten half my bagel before I remembered to take a pic 😂 - salmon bagel was awesome!)

Was my first time eating here, I’ve recently moved to the area and I met a friend for lunch and the food is delicious, it’s fresh and cooked to perfection, I had the breakfast panini. Best I’ve ever had, cappuccinos are nice also, enjoyed it that much I came back today and had it to take away. Lovely staff and efficient service. 5 stars from me and I’ll definitely be back again

The staff are exceptional As small coffee shops go this is a hidden gem. Great value for money and very friendly. As a solo diner, I noted the team work methodically towards customer satisfaction. Engaging with all customers and people wishing to reserve a table hours if not days in advance. The food and drinks are well presented, the kitchen staff work hard to ensure a quality product is delivered in a timely fashion. Welldone to the management for establishing a great business and well trained staff. Thankyou to all of you for making my visits welcoming, hence I'm a repeat customer. Visit them, you won't be disappointed.

If single people are not good enough (even on a busy morning), then please don't offer them a table. Overheard waitress and ?owner being derogatory re. My wasting a table for 2. Won't be back ***in repose to owners reply: I came in this morning around 9.20 am. Young girl with Dark hair and an older man. I told the older person I would sit outside. It was him who said to the young girl to sit the woman with to the "old fella" Then overheard her saying " I wouldn't be happy sitting with someone I didn't know" I actually brought this to the attention of the waitress at the time, so she went in and told anyone who would listen. I was made to feel really uncomfortable as she kept glaring at me. Took my order, sent the man out to check what the order actually was. I had to ask for sugar and also my change. Oh, it was a lovely touch to offer other people outside the use of a blanket but to totally ignore me. Honestly was utterly shocked at the behaviour. I was polite when I suggested lowering their voices. The worst part was telling regulars that the "walk in woman" took the last table. Thank you for your speedy reply. I trust that staff will be made aware of how they make customers feel in future.

Cafe Piccino is a wonderful cafe in the heart of the village of Culcheth. What better way to enjoy a coffee (tea or other beverage) in the cafe. People using the cafe can eat in or out on the seating provided and it is a great place to socialise while having a meal or a light snack. Highly recommended.

Very friendly and humorous service, good breakfast and a harmonious interior (not my taste, but well done). The Italian atmosphere attracted many locals early in the morning for coffee or breakfast. Highly recommended, we as tourists traveling through were also looked after nicely.

Well this Cafe is one of the best!!! The food is outstanding, it’s beyond clean, the atmosphere is just so lovely, we have never had a bad meal here, and we would fully recommend it to anyone visiting the village! The staff go above and beyond for all their customers…. Especially the kids! Our 2 love Fatih and Archie so much, and Morgan and Leanne always fuss the kids. It’s just such a gorgeous place to be, we always go for breakfast and we’ve had lunch there too which is just gorgeous! It’s such a lovely little local family fun cafe, full of love and laughter….. and we adore the staff

Lovely Bistro , in my personal opinion I think it’s the best bistro in Culcheth , The staff are caring considerate and overall just a lovely atmosphere to be around, Would highly recommend.

Sadly a real let down. Lovely little venue. Waiting team, very polite and friendly but seemed like they were struggling due to kitchen (halting orders etc). I completely get how hard hospitality is at the moment but all the more reason to be focusing on doing it right.. Cold bacon, overcooked poached eggs, a very dark sausage, no seasoning on anything. Also, portion sizes are obscene.. £1.50 for a single hash brown, (I can buy a bag for that and very good quality ones.) 1 single strawberry on berry French toast but sliced within an inch of its life is ridiculous even with inflation. Things that claim to be homemade like the hollondaise weren’t. It’s a lovely little venue, and a good but simple menu that should be easy to execute brilliantly.

First visit and although very lovely, shocking expensive. Sausage and bacon sandwich, 1 sausage cut in half and one piece of bacon. I asked was this normal and the reply was it’s worked for 2 years and the cafe is still very busy but on another 1 star review on here with the same complaint the reply was it was an error. What’s the answer is it standard as you just told me or is it an error as you replied to the previous complaint from another customer ?

I’d been fancying trying Cafe Piccino again for a while and today I made the decision to go back. As I was walking from my car my son got really upset and I couldn’t calm him. I looked in the cafe and it looked quite full so I rethought If I could go in. But I decided to risk it and i went in and asked the waitress if they had any space for me, my son and pram. And she was like that’s no problem and sorted me out no problem. Then when I’d ordered my coffee, she saw I was breastfeeding and then brought me a water and said she knew I’d need it. And that really touched me, that she would think about that. So after having a bit of a stress before going in, the moment I walked in, they made me feel so welcome and comfortable and it just changed my day. So thank you so much! The food was incredible as well! I loved my mezze board and cake. I will definitely be back for more.

Nipped in for a quick sausage and egg on toast to takeaway, OMG £5.85 for one sausage cut in half and an egg, wow we won't be calling in here again, I get the same for less than £3 in EVERY other cafe I've been in.

Brilliant experience, the: foods, coffee and staff are all excellent. They were very accomodating and welcoming to me and my dog, couldnt ask for better.

Food is excellent and place is very clean. Staff friendly. Would have given it 5 stars but feel the the loud music let’s it down. I asked for it to be turned down as did the people on the next table. Turned down slightly and was told they have to think of other diners. All other diners I spoke to agreed it was too loud.

Good menu choice, good food, had a lovely lunch out with friends. Would definitely recommend.

Staff friendly...but We went in at 2pm and asked when they closed. They said 4pm. At 3pm, they started to pack away, putting chairs on tables all around us and cleaning. We felt we had to leave. Spoiled the experience for us. It was the first time we had sat inside.

We just ordered our breakfast and hot drinks, had to wait 25 minutes for drink, took our food order twice and after waiting an hour for food we just had to walk out. People coming in and being served after us and leaving with full bellies while my 10 year old is waiting an hour for food. Customer service at its finest.

Lovely little place! The staff are the loveliest people. They are really friendly and are so nice with the customers. I was sat next to a couple of ladies with a baby on my last visit and the guy was really sweet with the baby, it was lovely to see. Really good range of coffees and food during the daytime. I’ve been for lunch and had some really tasty sandwiches. I haven’t been in the evening. But they seem to have a great selection and when I’ve walked past they have looked great. The atmosphere is so warm and welcoming. A lovely little place to visit in the village!

We were taken here today by friends who live locally (Bev and Dan), and I have to say we were not disappointed, from the friendly welcome and fantastic service from all the staff to the amazingly tasty Piri Piri chicken with sweet potato fries, followed by Victoria sponge cake we loved it, every last bit of it. Thank you for a lovely afternoon x

What a great little cafe right in the centre of Culcheth with parking right outside, had a delicious lunch today the staff were amazing and our lunch was beautiful would definitely recommend a visit!

A great place for the occasional coffee or a real treat for the taste buds, Cafe Piccino offers a comprehensive menu catering for most tastes. We only called in for a coffee after a walk but decided to eat in having seen other diners tucking into some well presented lunch in the shape of panini sandwiches and salad. And lovely atmosphere, staff were especially welcoming to children calling by for take-away hot chocolate with marshmallow topping after being on the nearby playground. A fine addition to the village of which we look forward to calling in again and again.

Very warm and welcoming staff and establishment.

We stopped at this great little eatery whilst on gallery deliveries in the area. It is beautifully clean and beautifully decorated too! The staff are friendly and attentive and the food was delicious! Excellent value too! I have saved this little café to my favourites and will happily call again next time we are in the area.

Was told to wait 15 minutes for our order and to come back, then went again and told another 10 minutes, so we finally get our order and got it completely wrong which waiting the time we did to have our order wrong which wasn’t a big one or a complicated one.

This cafe is a great addition to the village. The food, drinks and service are always spot on 👏👏

I have visited this Cafe several times and have always had excellent service and very good food and drinks! The staff go out of their way to help you and all of the food is of a high standard and great value! Will definitely be back! I especially look forward to enjoying the outdoor area again.

Its a Sunday and just been in to order a takeaway coffee. Cafe only half full yet guy behind the counter tells the pleasant young chap serving me they are not doing takeaways as too busy!!!! I think the guy could just not be bothered. ​This was rude, unprofessional and plain silly. Not a good experience (UPDATE - Great Cafe reply below which I am very grateful for.)
