Couldn’t have gotten any better for a Saturday morning chilled brunch spot and amazing food and amazing service from Aki so friendly and welcoming !! Thank you

Lovely food and service! Our waitress was Aki and she couldn’t do enough to accommodate us and make us feel comfortable!!

The setting and food was lovely. Sat outside but blankets and furs on chairs made it feel warm. Food great if a little pricey. Only complaint was waitress who was a little bit stroppy when she misheard my order. If she repeated it back there would have had a clarification. Service charge was included as was a charitable donation which personally I didn't like and would have taken off if asked. Get the staff fully trained and I would have given more stars.

Superb fine dining . Food was so tasty, cooked perfectly and wonderfully presented. Staff were great too, cheerful and so helpful. All in all a wonderful evening. Will definitely visit again. Will also visit for breakfast as son highly recommend that too

Exceptional King Prawn lunch. Lovely ambience, attentive staff in a tasteful, historical building. Vanilla frappe was lovely + coffee of very high quality. Our 1st visit but definitely will not be our last.

Had a lovely breakfast here in a Saturday morning. I wouldn’t have known the café was there had it not already been recommended. Breakfast was presented well and the was no loud music to spoil the atmosphere; we could all enjoy a conversation. Service was a little slow; however, it looked as though the waitress was on her on. She was pleasant and professional.

We booked a table for 4 and our son who is autistic was afraid of the pigeons in the garden so we were given a very small table downstairs inside. There are no childrens menus, this is prob the first place weve visitied that doesnr have a menu for kids. We had to spend £15 on an adults tuna sandwich that he only ate half of as it was so big, it was a waste of money and food. We asked for the wifi so we could access his ipad so we could all eat, this wasnt allowed. Overall the food was good, portions way too big for the children and not a family restaurant with no menus for little ones.

The food was average, but by no means bad. Perhaps I had my expectations set too high given Cafe Nucleus is nearly always fully booked and has a strict 2 hour sitting policy! Understandably so, because the venue which used to be part of the Guildhall is certainly interesting. Although the food was nothing special, I’ve rated 4/5 given what a nice setting it is: the atmosphere is really pleasant, plus it’s exceptionally clean. There was a good drink selection, which I’d like to have tried more of but didn’t have time due to the 2 hour rule (which is more of an observation than feedback: I understand the space is small but in demand.) Staff were very friendly and attentive and were gentle in their reminder that it was time to leave, we didn’t feel rushed.

Stunning ambience and could not fault anything regarding the meal. Will definitely go back again soon! The Waitress for example bought me a "taster" of the wine I chose to see if I liked it. Nice touch

20 people out for pre dinner drinks all pre paid and they put a service charge on drinks!!! Maybe the owner was flicking through Cunard brochures!

We visited Cafe Nucleus Rochester and enjoyed a lovely breakfast in the boardroom. We received excellent service from Aki! Recommend strongly!

Loved this place. Unique, quirky, tasteful decor; friendly and attentive staff; delicious food; great menu for vegetarians and vegans. Not tried the cocktails yet but will 100% be back for those as they looked amazing!

I took my daughter for a birthday treat for 18th, and it was amazing. I mentioned it was a birthday on the reservation and our waitress Ali gave her a signed card and a complimentary box of chocolates all presented and nice bag. It was a really nice touch to the visit. Ali was amazing, as my daughter is autistic and find social interaction hard, but Ali was so kind and even recommended the art gallery to look around before we left. My daughter really enjoyed it, will definitely come back again. Thank you ☺️

Hands down the best breakfast in Rochester! Tasty ingredients, well cooked and most importantly hot! Cute little jars of brown and red sauce were a nice touch. Smaller breakfast is good value considering the quality and even included black pudding. We even shared a portion of chips to go with it! Friendly staff, nice decor too.

I’ve visited here many times and been in the Boardroom, today we were seated downstairs by the entrance and it was a totally different experience. The noise from the bar area was unbearable- we had to give our order 3 times before the waiter could hear what we were saying. Some kind of grinder or mixer was incredibly loud and then followed by the staff crashing around I imagine emptying the glass washer. The food was good as always however £24 for a panini 1/2 portion of chips and a wine is not cheap and to charge those prices the experience has to be special. If this had been my first visit I would not be returning. However for future I will only go if I can be seated in the Boardroom

Always have enjoyed Cafe Nucleus, be it here in Rochester or the ones in Chatham or Rainham the staff are always great and have never had any issues when I use them. Management has to be one of the best I've seen. Always clean and you can relax and just drink coffee.

Visited for the first time and part of my 12 monthly presents by my wife and was disappointed by the experience and food. Was seated in the board room and the ambiance was calming, tables well spaced out and not on top of each other. Service was very welcoming but nothing over the top. The dinner menu was simple but what we ordered was amazing. Lamb shank with the meat fulling off the bone. Sticky toffee pudding was great too. A great place to eat and visit.
