Its always a pleasure to come at this coffee shop. I love the food and the atmosphere its like a piece of haven .I have no words to say exept that all is great and i will enjoy every day spent there its my relaxing place and the staff is super friendly and helpful.Thank you. This cafe is hidden away in one of the most unusual places and is very relaxing. The food is fresh and feels wonderfully homemade. I was surprised to see mulled spiced chai tea, so I obviously ordered one and to my joy, it’s truly satisfying. I really didn’t expect such an amazing place with a touch of class. A friendly elderly Ethiopian gentleman runs the place and puts his heart in everything he serves. He’s a man of true heart and is sincere to all his customers. The vibe is really relaxing and is very spacious with comfortable seating. The whole venue is clean and neatly arranged, including the restroom. The food is fresh and the hygiene is very well attended to - it’s a clean place. All the drinks have the right amount of foam and the lattes have layers. Care and attention clearly goes into everything.

Went to this place once and once only it will be ordered a iced latte with soya milk what I got instead was iced latte with off soya milk... It was lumpy nasty and when I complained he said that's what soya does... I said yeah when it's off

I have thoroughly enjoyed a spectacular and extremely relaxing time in this very charming venue. The gentleman who looked up to me has such charm, and nothing is too much for him. There has also been much enthusiasm and great performance from a young lady in the establishment as well. don’t hesitate to find yourself on one of these seats. It’s a splendid experience. Appearances are deceiving, this place is lovely on inside comparable to a Cafe Nero, the coffee is lovely and the staff friendly and welcoming. I thoroughly recommend this place.

Great coffee and they have some nice looking (didn’t try) smoothies, cakes and healthy stuff too (cous cous, honey, dried mangos [price unknown]) Comfortably laid out…design itself is hard to explain, outside it looks scruffy, inside if there were a few small changes it would look lovely, so nice wall colourings, choices of design and whatnot, but unfortunately the market it would be ideal for possibly walks past it all the time as a result of these small things. Worth going to though and would like to try the smoothies n cakes

Not a Roehampton native but this rather large inconspicuously place cafe is a staple, or so I'm told, my cappuccino was good, the person running was nice enough to let me chill there a couple hours and the jazz in the background provided a very relaxing and inviting atmosphere.

The best Cappuccino in all of Wandsworth borough. Also the chicken and avocado baguette is to die for. Great service Great value

This is the coffee shop I compare all others to. I absolutely love it. The gentleman inside always takes pride in his craft, which equates to consistently excellent food and coffee. The only downside is that I live in the States and can only frequent it when I visit my daughter at the University of Roehampton. I look forward to returning many times during my next visit.

I bought a tuna panini and a hot chocolate from here which was over cooked

Great food at very reasonable prices. Service is excellent. The cheese and ham ciabatta is my favourite and the delicious hot chocolate too. Yum

The cafe lacked atmosphere, unlike its name there was no "joy" on my visit. No seprate area for the man serving to clean the dishes, I was told to sit and wait for my take away, and while I endured my enforced seating, I also endured noise from plates and pots being washed in a sink which echoed around a very high cealing room. I had a cheese melt toasty, it was ok, the wait for it was a bit long, The cafe would be better with music playing or a TV in the background, and some separation walls introduced to the seating areas to keep the echo down. Ladies loo was out of order, Gents loo was not fantastic and either, and nor was the decor on the back of house way to the loo.

Cafe Joy is the best place to get a latte, a slice of cake, a sandwich, or a hot chocolate! I absolutely adore everything I’ve had from this cafe and the gentleman running it is one of the kindest people I have ever met.

They don't have decaf which it limits me what hot drink I can have there. Today I ordered a cheese toast and I was dissatisfied. The toast had no butter and it was completely dry. Unfortunately in this area there is nowhere else where one can sit for quick lunch and a coffee apart from this cafeteria. Else, I wouldn't be coming again. Certainly, won't order food again

I love Cafe Joy, the owner (a quiet, kind and helpful man) will do anything he can to make you lunch, within the bounds of his simple menu. Great baggettes, Chibata, baked potatoes and salads. Good coffee and snacks.

For some reason when i did this it only gave 4 stars when i had pressed 5. So i am editing it now. We love this cafe. Very friendly. And we love going here, sometimes its the only reason i leave my flat.

I like this place but not as much as I used to because the all-day breakfast is never hot enough antique where is it with you and the ice cream do you have in his freezer Sue soft and does nothing about it not as friendly as he used to be sorry for that

Decent enough English breakfast at a very reasonable price and it's usually fairly quiet because of its location.

Came in December, found this little coffee and, well, lucky me ! It was quiet and delicious :)

Very bad customer service. Rude and inconsiderate. I kindly asked to use the cafe toilet and the owner repeatedly rufused. He said and I quote "toilets aren't free". I will never step foot in his shop again!

Great cafe serving lovely food and drink. Also sells the most tasty dried fruit, my sister gets me to buy it for her every month who lives outside London. Lovely bits for gifts such as biscuit tins and jam sets. Love supporting our independent cafe.

The cafe really tries to have lots of choices. The service was lovely and friendly. It’s not high quality food though just so you know.

Very nice And friendly beaded more choice of food good quality goods hot drinks with a small biscuit with the hot drinks only thing is the toilet up stars not good for disabled only going in the caffe.

The only thing that i go for is the coffee which is nice, but multiple times i have found the manager to be quite rude so never feel welcome. Edit: now the owner is accusing me of things based on assumptions...ok. i have experienced rude behaviour from him with no basis whatsoever. Never stepping a foot in here again. Theres plenty of other local independent cafes i can support instead that dont have rude staff.

Very good breakfast with food ingredients. The sausage was a proper sausage unlike that puree meat tube in most greasy spoons. If you prefer butter on your toast ask beforehand. The coffee was very good too. Nice decor and very attentive, friendly service. No charges for cards over £2.60 is a bonus!

Lovely little cafe. Great value, lovely hot chocolates and the baguettes are really nice. The staff are friendly. The only downside is the toilets and the lack of baby change.

Best Café Latte I've found in London, and really good croissants. Friendly staff, free WiFi. Unprepossessing. Basic breakfast and lunch fare. Upgrade that. Just tried their Brie, caramelised onion, and sundried tomato on a ciabatta bun. Exceptional. And reasonably priced too.
