Cafe G. - Finsbury Park in Islington

We had a light lunch here and were pleased with the food. The sandwiches came with salt and vinegar crisps though, it didn’t really go with our sandwiches. All in all, it was a pleasant lunch and the staff was very friendly.

Really bad experience; a guy came in and was suspiciously wondering around. My friends and I were chatting when my partner realised that the guy was trying to still my handbag. I am not blaming the waiters but they did nothing. I am sorry but not coming back there and don't recomend it.

Great atmosphere, and great staff however I was very unimpressed by the coffee, let me set the scene ... If I put some Nescafe instant in a cup and walked outside in the rain, i would have a similarly good coffee. Please have a look into this. Thanks.

Nice quiet place good for working class people. I see a lot of people with laptop using the WiFi and working from there while they are on break or not!

egg on toast wet and soggy delivered with porridge dumped on top of sandwich flattening eggs into bread. they need to pack sandwiches in white sandwich paper for hot food and not place in a big box where it absorbs heat and get wet. threw away my sandwich never ordering again. disappointed as I've eaten in this place for the 1st time once and tipped the owner £10 for the same order thinking it was so nice and had quality. deliveries they do not put in the same quality. porridge was mid.

Such a lovely spot with fantastic interior and seriously tasty coffee. I love popping in on my way to the office. I have also found the staff really helpful and accommodating to put on small regular events. Very reliable and excellent communication.

Whether you’re looking for a chill place to work or catch up with friends, Café G ticks all the boxes. It looks like a great go-to spot in the neighborhood, and I can’t recommend it enough for a relaxed and enjoyable café experience.

Worst bubble tea I’ve had… the tapioca pearls were defrosted in the microwave just before serving I think. This resulted in the consistency being inconsistent - watery for some of them and hard for some of them. Disappointed - didn’t want to finish

I always stop for my fav bubble Tea Taro / Tapioka - You get Smiles. cleanliness , Cosiness and fair quality/price! a great place to chill in north london !

My laptop contracted a virus after using the WiFi at their establishment, resulting in me having to reset it. Additionally, the bubble tea and potato chips they served were disappointing. Despite the friendly staff and pleasant sitting area, I can only give them a two-star rating until they improve the quality of their food and beverages.

Was looking for somewhere non-chain to eat late lunch and randomly saw this from the bus. Jumped off, had a quick look at reviews and thought I'd give it a go. Very glad I did. Lovely warm club sandwich on toasted sourdough and cup of redbush (I can never find it when I go out! lovely tea selection here). Great atmosphere, lovely decor. Highly recommend.

It's a hidden gem in Finsbury, at the corner of a busy road, but the inside is fully with serenity on good people. 👍 the staff are very polite and helpful. This coffee shop is great for working with your laptop or have zoom meeting. Iced latte is also a good choice. Prices are reasonable and they have fast Internet

Decor and general atmosphere is super pleasant, the staff was friendly and prompt and above all the coffee was excellent!! Really pleasing experience

Peaceful place. I went there after a hard day at work, I was received with a big smile by a young lady. I drank a nice cup of chai latte, enjoyed the music... and zoom out on my laptop. Nice and highly recommended place. For sure, I will go back with some mates.

Its always a great time when I'm at Cafe G. Productive environment, good coffee and friendly staff. Its my new work space. Lots of outlets to plug my devices. I really enjoy spending my days working there.

Today was the 1st time myself and a friend had coffee here an found it a welcoming with a wide range of coffees, smoothies an hot an cold tea an I can definitely give a double thumbs up 👍👍👌for there pumpkin spice latte ( which they do hot an or cold ) . So if your passing I can recommend a pop in an a quick coffee an maybe one of there delicious cakes or pastries they have to offer.
