Cafe Florence in Lambeth

おしゃれなカフェでほっと一息、イギリスのカフェは、どれも個性がありとても楽しみがあります。どこかのチェーン店にはない空間...

Went in ordered a vanilla milkshake and chicken coujon sandwhich asked for salad to on the side on the plate, was given a watery milkshake which DIDNT taste of vanila at all but just water, if that was bad when my sandwhich arrived the tall blonde polish lady put the salad INSIDE my sandwhich as apposed to on the side like how i had asked her, she also put colslaw and carrots on the side i DIDNT ask for this so made her take it away to make me the one I initialy ordered. It came along with a proper milkshake which she obviously had made. No sorry or anything. I could tell by her facial expression that she didnt like being asked to re make my milkshake and sandwhich, i dont know why because after all IM paying for it and should of got what I ordered in the first place. She was talking to the other polish girl with dark hair in their language obviously about ME! I paid and left. Last week i returned ordered a bacon sarny and coffee as was told breakfast had "apparently finished" yea right!!!!! After paying i asked if i could buy a small piece of cajun chicken breast for my sick relative in the kings collage hospital, i was rudely told "NO" by the dark head lady, the blonde lady then said somthing in her language to the dark haired one that i cant have it on its own and il have to have it in a rap with salad, i DIDNT WANT IT IN A RAP OR WITH SALAD and if im prepared to pay for a piece of cajun chicken i really dont know what the issue was. Talk about lack of customer service!!. If that was ME id happily would of "gone the extra mile delivering GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE TO REGULAR CUSTOMERS such as myself and sold the piece of chicken but obviously the company are happy to turn paying customers away. I should of gone to love walk across the road were im pretty sure i would of recieved a Much better service from people who smile at paying customers. I SHALL NOT be returning to that place again.

Ésta era mi segunda visita ... anteriormente para el almuerzo con mi esposa, esta vez a mí ... café y pasteles. Café Florencia es una joya de sitio ... pequeñito, pero repleto de todo lo que es bueno acerca de la cultura del café. El café es excelente, la variedad y la calidad de la comida es excepcional y el servicio es una delicia. No he parado pensando en el rico chocolate y coco y los mini Pistachio cream-Horn todo el día!

Near the hospital, we went because its called Florence's cafe...and so is our baby. Sad i know.Anyway, been a few times now (kid refuses to get better). Pros:Bit of outside space (Denmark Hill could be quieter!)Good coffeeLooks greatNice Sarnies- lots of optionsGood saladsLoads of cakesSome indoor seating is nice enoughCons (hope they're reading!)They're trying to show too many goodies on window and display desk so todays flapjack was stale.They should cut down on display food- not only will that cost them much less but also could look better with some nice bowls and would taste better. CUT DOWN YOUR WORKING CAPITAL!

estado aquí para el almuerzo un par de veces recientemente y es sin duda merece la pena echarle un vistazo. No he probado nada como la variedad de cosas que tienen, pero todo parece excelente. diversas ensaladas, panini, etc. y un montón de atributos tentadores pasteles. Hasta ahora he tenido un par de sus ensaladas abundantes que están montados fresco a la orden. Al principio estaba un poco preocupado por falta de carbohidratos, pero fueron suficiente para una buena comida.

Having worked in south London for years I have got to know most of the café`s and always search for a perfect coffee and food,found it here,great service,great homemade food and cakes including gluten free,beautiful fresh salads,toasted Panini,jacket potato with numerous fillings,cant go wrong.
