I have one of the best English breakfast version I've ever tried in UK. All ladies are generous and friendly. They even keep my luggage for a while in order to let me discover the city easily. This place is close to one of the best touristic place to visit in Wrexham. Highly recommend everybody to experience this place.

Very nice cafe, very good breakfast, served hot. Staff were friendly and attentive. Prices were reasonable too. Definitely recommended, and I'll be going back.

Sausages tasted strange 2 of 3 of us pebble dashed the toilet, 1 black hair in food wasn't too bothered by it. They tryed to over charge us by £8 and 1 got snotty about it saying it was only a £5 over doesn't make much difference whilst going beetroot red in the face the other two seemed nice people asides from Karen, the food would of been good if the sausages didn't give some of us mild food poisoning. Doubt we will return there our local is in the process of getting a new kitchen installed.

Called in for breakfast with my wife on a Saturday morning. Lovely friendly atmosphere, fabulous staff and service. The Mega breakfast (£7.95) was superb but bigger than anticipated, set us up for the rest of the day. Lovely cafe, will definitely go back.

Nice breakfast, little bit more than other places in town. Outside is fantastic right by the church inside feels a little cluttered though

A very warm welcome on a Mon afternoon when they were actually thinking of closing. Bet they're glad they didn't as 12 people came in after us.

We usually visit this cafe when we are in Wrexham, in fact we tend to visit Wrexham so that we can go there. This time it was for a light lunch and we chose a cheese and ham toastie which was fine. Normally we have had coffee and Welsh cakes, I had never tried Welsh cakes before and asked what they were. The waitress explained that they were like scones that someone has sat on, followed by a peel of laughter and it is the laughter that particularly marks this place as special. This time the 3 ladies working there were quite obviously enjoying each other's company and their work which is a joy to encounter. We will be back

Friendly staff, varied well priced menu and a lovely toasties.

Hadn’t been back here for some time, so re-visited with the family and enjoyed coffee and brunch. Still as great as ever! Food was tasty, plentiful and such good value for money - we all ‘forced’ ourselves’ to try the all day breakfast. The staff have always been so welcoming and are always a big part of coming back. Will certainly return again soon. Thank you.

It’s a dinky cafe where things are cooked to order. Service was quick and friendly, no complaints there at all. We went for breakfast, my friend had the cooked breakfast which was plentiful but slightly undercooked and my food arrived a good 5 minutes after hers. When it came it was pleasant but it would have been nice to eat together. I’d go back and it’s a local business loved by many so give it a go

Visited mid morning for a quick drink. Very welcoming and a great choice of proper homemade cakes. Gluten free options available including tea cakes and crumpets.

We were blown away when we popped in for some brunch here (my wife and I, our 6yr old son and puppy). The ladies doted on our boys and quickly offered doggo a drink. Service was prompt, super friendly and the food of a good value and quality. Our son got a little choccie after brunch and the staff were very happy to chat with us (despite being busy) and help with local recommendations. Thank you very much :)

Love this place, amazing girls!

Again we visited this gorgeous cafe. We were greeted with a friendly smile and the service throughout was great. We had a really tasty breakfast with tea for less than a fiver. It is certainly a champion community oasis. I would definitely recommend it, just for the location and the tea pots!

A nice little cafe, very friendly staff that just make the atmosphere so pleasant for their customers. Would definitely recommend. Only downside would be orders may get muddled up, but that's to be expected if numbers are large, and personally not a big issue.

Very friendly, excellent coffee. Lovely food, perfect location next to the church. We were asked how we liked our coffee and was pleased to receive a nice strong Americano. Fish finger bap had generous filling and was very tasty. My husbands cheese and onion toasty was freshly made and also very tasty

Best Cafe in town plus friendly staff

This quaint cafe is situated right next to St Giles church. It’s lovely old fashioned bay windows look out onto the old cobbled street. Although small in size it has a bustling atmosphere. I came here for a quick bite to each at lunch time. The staff were very friendly and unlike many places chatted quite casually to us. We had two toasties and a latte. While the food is nothing gourmet you are certain to receive a plain and simple bite to eat that is very tasty. The cafe is very clean, the staff are very friendly and the food and drinks are great. Independent cafes like this make a pleasant change from the domination of fast food chains!

Nice little cafe on the corner. The place was clean and tidy. The staff were amazing friendly, smiley and we asked about where to visit and knew the area well :) There was lady named Michelle which really stood out for us :)

We regularly visit Cafe De Galles and enjoy the breakfasts. The staff are really friendly and welcoming. The food is always very nice too. Nothing is too much trouble and staff work so hard. It's the best cafe in Wrexham.

day out in Wrexham last week and went to see St. Giles Church and noticed this café just outside the gates was very busy - so must be a good spot. We went back a little later once the crowd had left. Had a tasty red pepper/tomato soup followed by apple/blackberry pie with custard - scrumptious. Give it a try - you will not be disappointed!

A quick drink before the football. Its a cafe so soft drinks. It does what it says...Fors seviceable food and drinks. Old fashion d in every way. Dont expect silver service but more does the job!

Lovely quaint cafe. Popped in today for lunch with my daughter on a Saturday afternoon. I haven’t been here for years as you forget it’s there - plus it’s usually busy when I do pass by. We had a lovely tuna salad and a tuna baguette. It was quiet as near to closing time so we got served very quickly. Lovely fresh food and friendly service. They sell home made cakes too which I shall try next visit

Popped in on our way to Chirk Castle and wasn't disappointed. Lovely mega breakfast for just £6 with coffee. Lovely little cafe with table service. Definitely recommend!

Found here by accident, but the best things we find are normally found by chance. It’s a very nice place, relaxing and food was served very quickly. Prices were exceptional and service was very good. The locals use it and it shows that it has a good feel about it. You can’t beat some welsh cakes with tea to finish your lunch off.

Popped in here early in the morning . The atmosphere was warm and inviting, very homely and clean. Food was probably the best I’ve had here in Wrexham . Bacon toastie cooked to perfection. Crisp and tasteful! Prices great and very friendly people! Will most definitely be returning regularly with all my friends and family !

Had the best full breakfast here and fantastic value for money. Staff are really friendly and the owner Julie runs a fantastic cafe and offers you a very warm welcome. If you are visiting the Parish Church make sure you call in here you won't be sorry!!!!!

We love this cafe, such friendly and cheerful staff we come here if we're feeling low and hungry and are always filled and cheered up! Wrexham's feelgood cafe. Food's always fresh and lovely home cooked, breakfast is amazing value with toast and tea included. Altogether well worth a visit if you haven't already found its charms. Only slight downside is some of the metal chairs are not altogether comfi for some of us "bigger people" but not so's it stops us going!

Have visited this cafe on several occasions and never been disappointed at any time wether it's for breakfast or lunch food is of the highest quality. The staff are always very friendly and jolly nothing is too much trouble. Highly recommend this place

We happened upon this cafe by chance, and really loved it! It is very pretty and full of character. We had excellent coffee and scones. The lady who owns it and her staff are so kind and friendly - we were with our friend from France, and they were so nice, taking photos of all 3 of us together to send to her mum.

Often visit this cafe for lunch with my girlfriend and we cannot recommend it enough! A beautiful setting with view of the parish church! Very Welcoming and lovely friendly staff! The Best coffee in town and the jacket potatoes are my favourite! 10 out of 10

Right in the center of Wrexham /Wrecsam town North Wales near Chester England piping hot huge portion of veggie soup sat outside facing the beautiful St Giles Church in a pedestrian area of town. Service was excellent for myself and my vegan dogs who got...

I was looking for a light and healthy lunch whilst working in Wrexham and decided to try this café. I ordered a tuna salad and a cup of tea. They both arrived promptly with friendly service.

Second visit to Wales, first to Wrexham and what a lovely cafe to discover in a quiet lane near the church. Food and drink excellent and friendly efficient service. Good choice on the menu and fresh looking cakes on display. A great introduction to a lovely part of the country.

Cafe De Galles I Think it means Cafe of Wales? anyway They make a Great kick start morning Coffee Its very busy which is a Good sign Plenty of Locals So it must be Good.Give it try if your Close to St Giles.

The cafe is situated in the side street opposite St Giles church. My partner myself and Jack Russel visited here over the August bank holiday. We sat outside and were served almost immediately by a friendly waitress who took our order for coffees and teacakes. We were chatting to a couple outside and it was obvious they regularly frequent here as did a number of people coming in and out, which is always a good sign. unfortunately they forgot our tea cakes and came out after a short while to explain the waitress was new and had made a mistake. The lady immediately offered us 2 free new coffees for the inconvenience to go with our teacakes, a nice gesture which sadly is missing at a lot of establishments.Very nice cafe and would try one of the meals next time we visit Wrexham

We found this cafe by chance as we were mouching around the church and decided to stop for a bite to eat. We both ordered breakfasts. Portions were good, well cooked and we were served by very friendly and efficient staff.The ambience is excellent. The place is spotless and judging by the number of people coming in for coffee etc, has built up a good client base with regular returners. Next time we are in Wrexham we will be back

We came across this cafe by accident and it was very nice. Friendly staff and very good value, tasty food: all day breakfast and jacket potato.No toilet though. I can't help myself - if the name is meant to mean Cafe of the Welsh, in French, it should be Café des Galles, as it's plural.
