Cafe Crema in Bedford

This is the best cafe in Bedford. Lots of selection and there is something for everyone. Good service with a friendly atmosphere. You won't be disappointed and you will find your be returning. Can't wait till tomorrow. Great guys.

Boxing Day and very little open in Bedford. We were pointed towards Crema by locals. Ordered coffee and mince pies - a problem the card machine had stopped working and we have got used to not carrying cash. We had enough cash to pay for the coffee but not the mince pies. It didn’t matter - Take it and Merry Christmas said the man behind the counter. And the coffee was lovely so thank you Cafe Crema and a very happy new year to you.

Best coffee and service in Bedford. Staff are always polite and remember you even though I only pop in once or twice per year due to working throughout the day. The food is lovely and the coffee is always great- recommend a cappuccino for loads of micro foam!

Stopped for breakfast during a recent visit to Bedford. Had the Eggs Benedict which was fab and a large Cafe Latte. Staff friendly and service prompt, definitely worth a visit!

These are the kindest people in cafes that I know, all Algerian(which is great) and all staff are fluent in French, Algerian Arabic and English. Amazing! Good for polyglots!The coffee is good and at a reasonable price, the cakes, panini, crepes and ice creams are all delicious! Always served with a smile! Good Covid 19 measures too.You can easily chat away with friends inside or sit near the open doors and watch the world go by! Sometimes you can stay awhile and work there. This is without doubt the best café in Bedford the staff are very friendly and the food is excellent with the emphasis on quality and quantity you will not find a better café anywhere in Bedford.

French Algerian staff are so efficient, welcoming and fast at coffees and food eg crepes and gelati! Cosy environment with quiet tables at the back. I’ve been visiting Cafe Crena for years and been practising my French and Algerian with the guys! Fantastique!!!! Maggie

Every time I visit Bedford I stop by at Cafe Crema in the High Street. The coffee is excellent & the food superb. The guys serving are very friendly, always up for a chat. There's plenty of seating and service is top rate. Just hoping they survive the Corona crises. Good luck guys & hopefully see you soon.

This was our regular cafe. We drove in especially most days for lunch as we were sure of a welcome and excellent food. Salad was wonderful and incredibly cheap. Staff are a delight. Regulars get to know each other so a lovely place to be. Sadly we've moved away from the area and it's the one thing we miss.

We love this little Italian cafe. Gorgeous, authentic food and coffee, delicious cakes and friendly, helpful staff. Perfect finishing touch, proper Italian background music. 100% recommend.

Always looking for a great pecan pie as the best one I have tasted was in Mississippi in 1973! This was a pretty good pecan pie and coffees and other cakes were very good too. I would recommend this cosy place!

Conveniently situated on the High Street, this is (IMO) the best cafe in Bedford. You can get all the usual cafe fare (panini, soup, cake, drinks etc) and sit as long as you like in the relaxed and relaxing environment. My go-to whenever I’m in town, you’ll always be greeted with a smile and I can’t recommend it highly enough!

Popped in here quickly on a Saturday afternoon after a morning out and about. Not been in before, the the staff were lovely, plenty of seating, great Italian coffee and lots of sweet treats to choose from. Would return.

Hadn’t been in Cafe Crema for some time although I will be going there more often . Excellent coffee & customer service . There are lots of lovely fresh cakes, rolls & meals to chose from .

Fabulous little gem hidden away in the High Street. Very friendly and chatty staff for whom nothing is too much trouble. Can be very busy and maybe a little wait for a table at busy times. Superb coffee and I can highly recommend the crêpes.

The best place in Bedford for a coffee and light lunch or snack. The menu is varied with good sweet and savoury options. Chicken is halal too which is a big plus.

We visited Bedford recently for a school reunion weekend and by chance called in at Cafe Crema for coffee and lunch. The coffee was out of this world and so delicious. Lunch was amazing too. Fantastic choices for vegetarians and very reasonably priced too. We loved it SO much, we went back the next day! My friend and myself had a latte made with almond milk which was lovely and the people working there were so nice and friendly. The cakes looked very nice, but didn’t try these. Highly recommended cafe if you are in Bedford and only wished I lived nearer as they do a loyalty card scheme.

A buzzing little Italian coffee shop with excellent service, food, coffee and charm. This cafe boasts an amazing selection of crêpes, paninis and fresh cakes. Even real strawberry’s in the milkshake... A lovely place to stop in between shopping.

We quite often visit Bedford and this is definitely a regular port of call. It’s not a big place but that is one of the endearing features of it. Service is excellent and the staff are always friendly and polite. There are many other such establishments in the area, but this is the one to visit.

This place is incredible: friendly staff who are always welcoming; incredible coffee & fantastic crepes. Always come here when in town. If you're in Bedford you must come here, you won't regret it!

Love this place! The coffee is amazing, food is great and the atmosphere is awesome! Everyone always welcomes me and makes feel comfortable.

Even with Trip Advisor's help, we struggled to find a nice spot for lunch. But this place is a little gem of a cafe. Smallish with decor nothing to write home about, but good range of lunch dishes including crepe of a quality you rarely find outside France. Coffee similarly was very good if you like it contintal style (we do). Some of their soft drinks ranges are served in jam jars which is a bit hipster for us,

The coffee here is fantastic and it's made by expert, and very friendly staff who have created a great ambience. Reasonable prices too, good location, nice food, good selection of cakes and lunch items, but it's all about the coffee for me and this place gets full marks, no doubt about it. A jewel in Bedford's crown.

We had a crepe and a pasta which was lovely, cold drinks served in nice jam jars! Cute! And the cake is amazing. The staff made us feel very welcome, they are so friendly. Definitely go again

Superb snacks and coffee. We often pop in when we are in town. The owners are extremely friendly and create excellent crêpes.

After nearly a year in Bedford, Cafe Crema is the most friendly, cosy and comfortable cafe that we have yet found. Great location on the high street, good for people-watching, tasty food, quick service and affordable prices. Their crepes are hand-made, generous and filling. Their coffee is excellent. One of our favourite places.
