Café Chai in Croydon

My fav local for breakfast before work!

Cafe chai is no longer there. It is replaced with a new takeaway. Made the journey for nothing!

Awful service. Avoid this place. Cancel orders last minute with no valid reason. Went inside and it wasn’t even busy.

Absolutely rubbish food never go back again

So ordered a philly cheese steak which is normally steak, onion, pepper and cheese but for some reason they decided to add mayo! Now I've never had a cheese steak with mayo before and you really should state that on your description if you're gonna add it, someone could have an allergy and you aren't advertising it correctly. Yes I also know if anyone has an allergy you can write it but unfortunately it doesn't give you the option to leave a note

Disgusting. Dough for parantha and poori were not cooked and raw. The halwa poori breakfast was bland with no taste, when i callee the restaurant to speak to the manager he put the phone down on me.

Turned us away because we ordered 2 coffees. Owner was rude and aggressive

Friendly staff, great service but food wasn’t that great. My poori wasn’t fried properly, it was just uncooked soggy dough. Pancakes were tasteless. French toast was ok and so Karak chai. I will probably go back and give it another try.
