Café Aylanto in Rochdale

Fantastic all round. They had a buffet for Ramadan, wasn’t too busy but food and service was lovely. Favourite was the mini sliders, something different. Will definitely return. Also convenient parking outside just remember to put your plate number on the iPad inside.

I went here for Iftar today. They’re listed on the Halal Dining Website and have a sign on the door, but when it was time to pay, they declined the discount saying they are not part of halal dining. Which is fine however the food was disappointing; the starters looked like they came from an Asian grocery. They also didn’t mention it was a buffet when we booked. It was sad to see kids acting as waiters instead of hiring proper staff. Overall, I was let down and only gave 2 stars because the tea was nice. This place has potential, but it feels like they’re more focused on ripping people off.

Lovely experience and a perfect iftari buffet where each item was high quality and flavourful. Didn’t lose out on any of the great taste despite it being a buffet menu. 10/10

Cafe Aylanto is 100% halal, serves non-alcoholic drinks, and has an extensive menu of mostly savoury but also sweet food. We arrived at 1.30pm on a Saturday. It was not too busy. Around 30% of the restaurant was full. We didn’t mind this :) The place itself looked stunning. Very beautiful with green leafy decor, lights and mirrors. We ordered the panini and a side of chips, chicken steak, greek salad with additional chicken, mocktails and a hot drink. We didn’t wait too long for our food to arrive, but we would have liked our drinks to come first. Also, the chicken may have been better presented on the salad rather in a separate plate as it cooled down pretty quickly. The food was tasty, and we were very happy with what we ordered. In addition, the service was brilliant, and the staff were very keen to make our visit enjoyable! Overall my family and I had a positive experience at Cafe Aylanto, and we would definitely be revisiting this restaurant. We recommend customers to come at lunch time as it isn’t too busy :)

I ordered pasta and it was very nice. My husband had the chicken burger from the kid’s menu cause he wasn’t that hungry and he didn’t expect it would come in a big portion. Also, it was the best chicken burger he has ever had in Rochdale. I took a bite and I agreed. It was very well seasoned. Very decent price as well.

Took 30 minutes to take my order. No one else in the restuarant. Then didn't take a drinks order. Had to ask the chap at the bar for drinks. Then the food came and they got the order wrong. 1x pizza and ice cream 55 pounds. Will not be returning.

Absolute joke - advertising as a bar and restaurant but don't serve alcohol - very rude staff - do yourself a favour and pop to the Italian Room over the road

What a disappointment, ordered a steak asked for it medium/rare it came well done, rubbery, overcooked and tasteless, don’t think the chef understands that steak still cooks whilst resting! couldn’t even cut through it. So I asked for my meal to be changed my partner had the mix grill starter for 2 which looked and tasted great, however after waiting 15 minutes I was served a lamb bone instead of a chop and some of the chicken wasn’t cooked! The young waiter, was extremely helpful and apologetic, and did his best to improve the situation, on that note I asked for the bill and we won’t be returning again! A lovely family woman used to own this place and the food was always spot on, I assume it’s changed hands because this place has gone right downhill.

Absolutely horrendous! Can't believe this. Booked for the dome. Service was ZERO!! We waited 1.5 hrs for starters. Was going to walk out but the waiter requested us to stay, saying 10 more mins. Another 20 min no sign of food. We sat there with no drinks, no food for over 1.5 hrs. Eventually the food arrived but in parts. By the time we had everything on the table, the 1st lots of food were cold. It was my son's bday, which got spoilt. Coming to the food now, no taste, all bland. Meat Spinach had only 4 pieces of meat!! Pizza was so tasteless, looks like a lil kid made it, all messy!! Chicken steak was dry! Mix Starters for 4 at £29.99 was tasteless and a rip off for the amount of stuff u get. Over all very bad place, with no service . The amount they charge for the portion in total rip off! Avoid!

Cafe Aylanto still offers a solid dining experience, but it doesn’t quite hit the mark like it used to when they first opened. The food is generally yummy, but I’ve noticed a drop in quality over time. One dish I wasn’t impressed with was anything served with their peppercorn sauce—it’s far too milky for my taste and lacks the depth I expect from a good peppercorn sauce. While there’s still a lot to enjoy, I hope they can bring back the flair they had in their earlier days.

Food was amazing and the service was exceptional. I always come here with my family. Very clam relaxing environment. I highly recommend the Cafe Aylanto for anyone looking for delicious food and a charming atmosphere.

Good Pakistani breakfast with Parathas and Chai

Food was ok... the beans portion were soo small. I would say it was average but the price was quite high. And the cheek to charge for service im sorry but I've been to some fine dining places and even they don't charge for service. Needs some serious improvement

Went for brunch, we were the only 3 customers there, i ordered the chicken panini. It had literally 3 tiny pieces of shredded chicken inside it. No joke it was so embarrassing. I showed it the lady and said wheres the chicken? She did not say a thing. She seemed half a sleep. She took my plate away only to come back 10 mins later with a bit of tikka bits of chicken inside. Not same as the other 3 shreds of chicken. My friend had finished their kids meals which they ordered that was bigger than my panini to be fair. Not only were they charging excruciating prices, there was nothing inside it. Crazy. She even had the cheek to charge us service and that too by doing 3 different transactions so she could get triple the amount. Shame the food n service was so rubbish could have got alot more customer from our recommendations .

Lovely stafff and delicious food! Great price for a “chicken wrap” a fresh pratha and freshly prepped chicken tikka only £4.99! And delicious doodh patti to accompany. Highly recommend. Burgers are great also; weekend nihari and haleem 5/5 cannot recommend highly enough! Thank you.

Absolutely shocking service. Ordered our food and drinks and waited 45 minutes, nothing arrived. Prompted a member of staff and a further 15 minutes later we were still waiting. We got up and left. It's a shame we didn't get to try the food, but the service let them down massively.
