Sandwiches were all right. Nice place to watch people go by. Too bad the lady at the till referred to us as “stupid tourists” to het colleague when ordering.

2 staff not friendly, I stood about 5 mins with no acknowledgment. Don’t think they had customers serv training as usual ladies very friendly. I ordered soup & roll, soup delicious however the roll was raw dough underneath as part baked. I took it back & she gave me another the same. No understanding of part baked!! Maybe poor grasp of English. Cash only as well today. Disappointing

Reasonably priced lunch menu. Does get busy and most of the staff are in training. Good vegetarian options available, including vegetarian sausage. Decent food.

I've found a hidden gem! If you like to people watch, this is your place. Pull up a pew by the window and watch the world go by I bought the all day breakfast, they cater for vegetarian and vegan. I had vegetarian and it was delicious! The ingredients are of a good quality, good portions, served on hot plates and a piping hot filter coffee or tea is included. Very reasonably priced, I think it's the tastiest breakfast I've ever had out! Just treat yourself ☺ you won't be disappointed.

Visited to have catch up with old workmates. Lovely little place smack bang in the centre of Liverpool as part of The Royal Court Theatre. Good place to meet up if all coming from different parts of the city as overlooks Queens Square Bus Terminus. Can't say what breakfast is like as we were there for a quick lunch. We were not disappointed as were all just looking for sandwiches, paninis etc. Good choice and certainly didn't scrimp on the sandwich fillings - I couldn't finish mine as was quite big and all at very reasonable prices for the City centre. I do believe the scouse is highly recommended but we had left it too late and they had sold out! Highly recommended

Slow and muddled service. Delivered a barely lukewarm coffee. Would have taken them back but we needed to get to a timed ticket visit. Won't be going back in a hurry..

At the Royal Court Theatre it was convenient to have brekkie here. Busy on a Saturday morning, we got seats at the surround window with streetscape views. Decided to go for the Full English, that was most filling with all the accompaniments. With included coffee. Shared an Eccles cake as a further treat. Delighted with the stop-off, pleasant space with friendly staff.

Excellent service, staff are smartly dressed friendly & helpful. The cafe is clean know dirty dishes left on the tables, tables are wiped down after each customer. I would recommend this cafe to anyone.

Went to get some theatre tickets so decided to have lunch. It was lovely. I had scouse (stew) and my husband had a panini. Nice hot food. A decent cup of coffee and very pleasant staff.

A really nice cafe for coffee and tea. A Butty and Soup is £4.50 and you have a wrap around panoramic glass window ..... yes its by Queens Square Bus Station ...... but you can watch the comings and goings and all coffee's are £2.20 ..... so its also a handy meeting place. By the way did I mention you enter via the Royal Court Theatre foyer ........and the original bogs of the theatre (modernised) are in the basement where you can see the old marble ticket booth.

Decent service. Fun fact: In 1960; when my father was just 19, he had broken into 26 Slater Street a number of times and was reported in the local newspapers such as the Liverpool Echo. 26 Slater Street used to be called the Corinthian Coffee Club.

We ordered a giant cookie on the second of feb to be collected on the 17th feb giving plenty time for it to be made. The day before pick up I ran the branch and asked about the cookie to which the lady rudely replied she hadn’t got an order and that there was lots of staff so it had gone missing, she didn’t even think to ask what was my order and instead told me to ring back at 4:30pm as she was extremely busy. As this cookie was for an event I didn’t want to risk not getting it and with the employee not really listening and being rude on the phone I went down to speak to her to my Surprise (not) she was not busy instead on her phone with her headphones in I spoke about the issue with the missing order and showed her my receipt to which she replied (I believe you) well I’m glad she did as she took my order on the 2nd. She never apologised or even acknowledges her mistake instead was extremely rude. I’m sure this isn’t the time of person Millie’s wants as the front for there business because I will not be going back and I’m sure others will feel the same if they have to deal with the same rudeness and inconvenience.
