The Palm presented The Butterfly Effect, starring a Montreal mistress of the night and featuring a gallery of gorgeous costumes, raunchy humour, and divine dudes, clad in almost as little as possible. Though she lip-synced, I found the sheer dramatic flair more than compensated. Brilliant concept. Félicitations!

We visited recently having really enjoyed previous visits. We waited 20 mins to be served and a further 25 to have our order brought to us. The coffee, brought earlier, was finished. We overheard bits of a conversation where one server said "we don't do that" only for another server to say "we can, just don't know how to". The soup we ordered was absolutely delicious. I later cheekily, asked for the recipe only to be told it waa bought in from Fife Creamery. In an eco shop I'd assume a USP was fresh food l, locally sourced. Had the food not been bought in and microwaved we'd have put the service down to a bad day but, regrettably we don't want to use more than an hour on heated up food

Nosheen Tandoori Rest Bridge StreetSaturday 18th June - Had the takeaway set meal for two last night. To be really honest the only thing that was fine were the popadoms and the onion relish ! The nan bread tasted like cardboard, the chicken in both my main dish and my husband's main dish was tough and over cooked (tasted like it had been cooked earlier and then warmed up), and then to top it all my husband later had a really bad attack of diarrhoea. I contacted the restaurant and they were very apologetic and said hygiene is their top concern. Apart from apologies no refund offered. Will not be coming back.

Thainstone HouseBooked the spa package for my birthday, the house itself was beautiful and our room was clean. The food however was to a very poor standard For what we expected the service very slow and zero table checks, waited a while for drinks. the music is so low we felt we had to talk almost at a whisper as everyone could hear each other. The spa facilities were awful, hottub wasn't working, the indoor pool was murky and very, decided we definitely were not going to use it. Upon asking if we could use the outside hottub we were told no as this needs booking. Other guests stated the same issues. It wasn't a great stay. However the manager was very understanding and helped us resolve the poor experience, still disappointed as it put a dampner on my birthday celebrations.
