my order never arrived. said it was delivered but it wasnt.it cost me £30 and I have not had a refund, and therefore could not order a replacement. very angry and disappointed as we was looking forward to our meal after a busy day.

This is truly the loveliest fish and chips I’ve ever had! Beautifully cooked, light batter covering white chunky flakes of fish. Generous portions and perfect chips. Generous portions of mushy peas. Reasonably priced. 100% the best ever!!!

fish was nice but the batter very dark and hard in places, chips were ok, sausage in batter was nice as was the curry sauce

I asked for diet Coke and what was delivered wasn't diet. I am diabetic so this could have sent me into a Hypoglycemic Coma and subsequent death. my solicitors will be in touch

Plaice beautifully cooked , portion of chips much too large but scrumpsious. so have boxed up some and now in freezer for another day. very very pleased.

The fish and chips at bushy fish bar were outstanding! The fish was perfectly battered and fried to a golden crisp, while the inside remained tender and flaky. The chips were thick-cut and had a wonderful crunch on the outside, yet soft and fluffy on the inside. The portion size was generous, and the dish was served piping hot. Overall, a delightful and satisfying meal that left me craving more!

I’m not the normal type of guy you would see a review from however, the Man behind the counter always gives me hope and very good advice with a platter of a steaming cod and a very generous portion of chips, you can never walk away from Bushey Fish Bar with a closed takeaway box, very ginormous portions. 10/10

The gentleman who delivered mine and my girlfriends food was absolutely amazing he was so apologetic for not where we were and just generally all round lovely and polite gentleman. When we received our food it was still piping hot which is unusual for companies like this but the gentleman delivered it while still hot and fresh.

Ordered from here quite a few times and every time it’s been amazing. This time the food was all great again, except the burger. The bun was so burnt, and the burger patties were burnt and like rock, so couldn’t eat the burger, BUT do not let this put you off. This was just a one off I’m sure, their food is so nice and the portions are big too. Love this place and will still order again

food was lovely & hot when it arrived

Ordered 2 kebabs but came in tortilla wraps and not pitta as ordered however the food was very nice and came quick and Was hot …simple mistake but won’t knock your rating for that after all we are only human and all make mistakes from time to time. Would I order again YES 👍

Bushey fish bar is always reliable both for quality of food and of service.

As the delivery never turned up! fortunately, the owner called me and asked if I would collect the food as it had been sat there for 10 minutes, waiting for Just Eat to come, pick it up, which I did. I wouldn't give it 1 star but it won't let you select none.

Ordered a doner and chips, thought I would have got at least abit of salad. Asked for garlic mayo and mayo but got chilly sauce. I normally love this place, but today I wasn’t impressed

Amazing quality, queue out the door says it for its self. The chips were fabulous, you can tell they clean their oil as they were so beautifully cooked. Fish was stunning So quick and efficiently even when busy. Always consistent.

Just moved into bushey yesterday and me and the family were starving and so i looked online and found out this is the only takeaway in bushey with 5 star hygiene so i just had to order, the workers are great chaps, first time in and i felt like i was apart of the team lol, definitely ordering again, whole family loved the meal. Definitely recommend the fish and chips. Whole experience with food is 10/10. Safe to say the shop has got a new regular customer😁

I used to order all the time for my son, but the last order was the smallest portion of chips I have ever seen. I'm really disappointed . Will have to switch, which is a shame as their food is good.

Food hot and very tasty. On two occasions we ordered two pies and only got one though - if too busy they must forget to look at the quantity or something, but otherwise food is excellent.

the restaurant phoned me to say they have turned their fryers off so no chips and would send drinks instead. Food turned up and there is no salad either , I called them and they said they have run out of everything . They sent 2 cans of drink for the £4.50 price of the chips !!! - appalling service !!

Amazing place kind people and are always happy to help. They also showed me some fake prime and told me to look out for it in the corner shops. Would definitely recommend I would leave an 11/10 if I could

Best chips I’ve ever eaten delicious

Have my regular lunch there at Bushey Fish Bar when working in the area. Food taste nice and freshly cooked.

You guys make great food but forget the necessities. I mean salt and vinegar on chips is a must and you didn’t even see the request for salad and sauce separately. You used to do that before. The food was bland without any of that stuff.

Had to call to see where food was as order took over 75 minutes for delivery

Food was 15 mins late, driver ‘stuck in traffic’, said driver was on a moped so that’s very hard to believe. Chicken sheesh - hubby enjoyed, Chicken nuggets - nice, Chips - so, so, so greasy - We could not finish them. Which is a shame as we always use this chip shop if we want a chippy dinner.

Beautiful chips and cod. Ordered from this place not knowing what it had in store for me. The food arrived very fast and was looking amazing. I ordered again the following week this time a chicken burger and chips and this was delicious. I am now a regular costumer to this shop and I'm very satisfied with the hard work they put into it. Definitely recommend!

Absolutely the most disgusting chips I’ve ever had! Burnt, soggy, and had a horrible smell! Not to mention the ice cold donner that we received. Seems this place has gone down hill, used to be good but won’t be ordering from here again. I’ve had no choice but to remove my previous 5 star review. Surely you would look at those chips and say “I can’t serve this”. Clearly there is a lack of care and attention. If you go, good luck!
