OK... been a hot minute since I posted food reviews as keep forgetting to take pictures before I tuck in ( Gen X baby. Phone not glued to hand.. 🤷🏽‍♀️) but took pics food ordered in as seriously wasn't feeling these icy winds. So all non swine eating folks skip over this first bit... They had a 40% off of orders over £25 as consider them a bit pricey for average wagers like me but their quality of produce ain't really stinted although their portions range on small if you coming from a black households -( if you know , you know😁) So ordered twice, 1st time around £60 quids worth knowing it was gon'na come around £40. Again my food loving self forgot to take pics on first order but ordered x2 Khao red pork- always banging , pork was tasty & succulent on a bed of rice, some side greens( pak choi) , boiled egg, sprinkling of chili looks both appealing and nutritious to my joint carnivore/ herbivore eyes. It did not disappoint ( you don't need 2 as 1 is enough even to those of us used to big plates- 2nd one was for the next day- was just being cost effective with my delivery fee & tip😉) I had ordered crispy duck noodle too which was nice enough, you didnt need a magnifying glass fir the duck , wasn't mind blowing enough to order again and mixed Asian greens to go over all three meals , I got x3 decent produce tasty meals for around £13 per meal- not a bad price in my mind🤗 but again greedy guts forgot to take pics but remembered on my 2nd order which again included the trusted Khao pork, this time with Tamarind duck breast & a Chilli prawn rice. Again at the same £60 price point with 40% off so my order again was around £40 for x3 meals. Took pics included below before I tucked in this time. Tamarind Duck slice portions was rather on the small side compared to the menu pic but decent slices of duck. Well cooked, soft not chewy and sauce was decent too. Prawn rice was nicely seasoned & prawns fat although rather pale looking so wondered at first if cooked enough but my glutton self tried 'em and no stomach issues the next day. Only about 5 prawns so not really justifying the original price without the 40 % off in my opinion. Hadd extra veg that zi added to the tamarind Duck as truthfully the rice that comes with wasn't proportionately enough fir someone who likes an equal balance of veg/ cards to meat. They sent me a free drink voucher for use when the weather improves. I would finally add that U do ask then not to drown my rice with the Khao pork sauce and the 5 is for the Khao pork in it's own right as other dishes were more 4- 4.5 , great scores compared to just around thev3 mark for the local Chinese where I live ( yeah I know they're different cuisines but could hardly compare it to pizza or turkish or indians eaten lately. Even the Mowgli chain ( elevated Indian Street food) where I forgot to take pics wasn't nothing to go back for🤔 considering I've seen how harsh the owner judges on Great British Menu)

Tasty food but it's now really over priced. The curries used to be £12/£13 and now they're £16+ without any sides. It's not really worth it for what you get. By the time you add rice and roti it's very expensive for a chain restaurant. The rice bowls are also very salty at times.

This was my first time here and the food was not good - overpriced for low quality. The chicken satay was lukewarm and lacked flavour. The Thai green curry was not great either. Lacked flavour entirely which isn’t great for a small £16 dish. They forgot my friend’s meal (odd as there were only 2 of us) and it finally arrived once I’d finished. She had pad Thai and found it far too sweet.

I went recently to busaba Stratford and I was a bit disappointed with the taste of the food. This has gone down quite a bit. I am not sure if this is due to staff changes or just a one off.

Pedro, one of the managers, was attentive and friendly. The food gorgeous, as ever. The starters weren't brought to us when we expected them. One was served with the mains, and the other even later! Still ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ though, as we didn't mind.

A lovely visit I’d recommend and defo will be back thanks to Anil who made it more welcoming and gave great customer service

I have come to celebrate my anniversary with my partner. The starter came dry and then when we the main came - which was 2 Pad Thai dishes out of the lunch menu it came dry. When I put my fork in the food, the whole pasta dish lifted up together as if it has been sitting out for a while. To mention the restaurant was fairly quiet. The staff was very passive and couldn’t care that much. I ended up paying for 2 drinks and a starter 25£. Starter was the equivalent of 1£ bag of peas from any supermarket. Very dissatisfied with the whole experience, especially as a first time. I would recommend you save your time and money and go to a proper restaurant.

food took 30 minutes to come out and i got it freezing cold only for them to reheat it poor!

Superb experience! The service from our waitress Priya was speedy and friendly. The food was delicious. I tasted the katsu curry and green curry chicken which were both super yummy. Would definitely come again!

Incredible staff, great manager who allocated our table so quickly and effectively. The service was outstanding, in particular Anil was patient, professional and supportive. There were 13 of us and we spent great time at Busaba. Food was exceptional and delivered quickly.

I rarely leave reviews, but this experience was so disappointing that I feel compelled to warn others. Ordered from Just Eat Takeaway was a disaster. We waited 3 hours for our food to arrive, despite calling the restaurant directly which blamed Just Eat and Just Eat blamed the restaurant. When the food finally came, it was soggy, cold and burnt – an inexcusable combination. It was clear that no care was taken in the preparation, and the staff seemed indifferent when we raised our concerns. The service was awful, inattentive, and unapologetic. We weren’t offered any explanation or compensation for the absurd delay or the poor quality of the meal. This was not just a bad dining experience; it was a complete waste of time and money. I would strongly advise avoiding this restaurant.

New concept to me dining with strangers; yes, if needs be, and you sit on a large table. Others may join people at the table. I was pleasantly surprised. As some companies are better than others, anything in a clay pot looks delicious. My friend and I ordered our safe bets. The green Thai curry was filling with a portion of jasmine rice. The hot pot she ordered was a stomach cleanser and delicious 😆 The mother and daughter who sat next to us second time round. Advised us to try their order spicy prawn rice and chicken salad. Which smelled and looked amazing. I will be going back initially worried about small portions review. From my observations, looks can be deceptive. The only negative was that the seating area was freezing 🥶 Hence ordering tea, which was lovely 😍

Huge thank you to Andrew and the team for an incredible meal. We had 4 cocktails (all tasted amazing), and shared the duck noodles, chilli prawn rice, the steak & squid. Everything was so fresh and tasty, the sauce for the steak was incredible. My fav was definitely either the duck noodles or prawn rice - they were both incredible! Staff were super attentive and really kind.

Great menu, lots of choice. It's like a tapas bar, all food chosen comes at same time. We didn't book so were at one of the shared tables. These tables are huge so there was no encroachment of personal space, you sat at the corner, it was actually better for having a conversation with the other person. Food was well prepared, exceptionally tasty & lovely & hot! Staff were very helpful & friendly but very busy. Occasionally had to attract their attention when requiring something but that was a small point & didn't detract from our enjoyment of the meal. It was so good we went back the next night too. Definitely recommend!!

I went to busaba for a birthday dinner and ordered a sharing platter with my partner the food was cold and the fat residue had congealed, for the mains I ordered the salmon which was slightly overcooked the sauce that went over the food was extremely salty

I came for lunch, Food is always good and if you come between 3 and 4 pm is quiet and very enjoyable. My waitress was Mufeedah, she was very sweet and attentive without been intrusive.

The kind of restaurant where everyone's pretending . The customers, that they're eating somewhere swank. They're brassy with each other, a hair's breadth from snapping, since no main is less than £20. So for them to look this bad is costing. The head-of-house is pretending to be sober. Maybe. I haven't seen a smile wired into place like that before. The staff do the minimum, flitting past tables, and saving their warmth for the delivery guys on the bikes outside. Enough for the diners to see how low they sit by comparison. Well, the delivery guys need the warmth. It's a cold night, as we're reminded when they open the window to hand out packs of the preheated slop Busaba calls food. Who orders this kind of stuff? Eating it here is bad enough. Why would you want to be alone with it in a flat? What did we eat? Who cares? It's getting two-out-of-five, whatever it was. Fish. And meaty bits. With rice. Cooked somewhere else. Pinged back into half-life here. Someone ordered a cocktail. It smelt of Tiger Balm and despair. Everyone's just phoning it in. We aren't quite at the level of the couple clawing at each other in the dentist's chair, 24 hours before the Soviets arrive at the bunker. But it can't be far off.

I mostly compare Padthai in Thai restaurants. Unfortunately the noodles wasn't padthai, though the flavours were okay, the chicken tastes as though it was cooked separatelyto the rest and just added on. Didn't absorb any flavours. Only certain chicken dishes are halal. The calamari was very tasty but expensive as you only get about 4/5 pieces for £10

The dishes are very good, Mufeedah is kind.

Great place to enjoy the Thai cousine. We were served by a very kind and welcoming guy who gave us some tips about the best dishes (according to our tastes). We ordered as starters prawn crackers and calamari, then asparagus fried rice and pad thai. We will definitely come back! 5/5

We were served by Pedro, who was truly kind and professional. He recommended the best dishes that suited our tastes. The cuisine is really delicious, and I highly recommend asking for Pedro; he will suggest the perfect pairings along with a good wine. Highly recommended!

Excellent service from Andrew. The flavours of the dishes were great. A bit pricey for the portion size, but the BLC discount definitely helped. Great value for the kids menu. The Pork riblets(small plate) were my favourite - full of flavour and falls of the bone!

I have to say the customer service was excelente from Ajanthi the food was very nice. Great experience for me and my family.

Unfortunately this place has gone downhill since I last visited which must've been about four years ago. I ordered the calamari, tamarind duck and prawn crackers and out of those three things the prawn crackers were my favourite. My friend and I both ordered "cocktails" and we both felt like they served us juice in a fancy glass. I won't be returning.
