Small Portions I guess because it's London. Everything is more expensive. That's why the portions were quite small, in order to make the physical prices look reasonable. Didn't have much beef slices in the stir fry dish. The food is quite spicy, though the food we ordered didn't have chilli symbols (that included the prawn crackers!). More spicy than the Cambridge Thai restaurants. Good news if you prefer spicy Thai food. Glad that the guava drink was quite refreshing. Helped to cool down after the spicy food. The staff was very patient to customers, we had quite a lot of questions to ask about the menu. The design of the restaurant looks interesting, too bad it's a bit too dark inside.

Worst service ever, my Thai green curry was luminous green, veg was raw. I’m very shocked there are good reviews, worst Thai food I’ve ever had.

My partner’s dish had large chunks of raw onion in, and our mains came a long time before our drinks and starters. When the waitress asked if everything was okay, we told her about these problems and she dismissively said that maybe next time they could do better. A bit strange.

The service was amazing. We (me and my mum) got a welcoming greeting and a few minutes after having sat down, were asked what drinks we wanted. My starter (the Chicken Satay) was perfect. The chicken was succulent and tender and the peanut satay sauce had a scrumptious and rich flavour. Also, my main (the jungle curry with sticky rice) was delicious, with the curry being very flavourful and the chicken cooked perfectly. However, the sticky rice was clearly undercooked and when I raised this issue, asking for new rice, I was told it would just be the same, meaning that I asked for jasmine rice instead. This means that unfortunately they are undercooking their sticky rice. Apart from this, my experience here was perfect. If you’re looking for a high-quality great value-for-money Thai restaurant to eat in in Stratford, then look no further because this is the one!

Had the aubergine curry. Hardly any aubergine in it with filler of raw red onion to bulk it out. Tasty but inadequate in portion size. It's disrespectful to customers to offer so little for the price they charge. Loved this chain for years, but doubt I'll come back. Also waited 30 mins for the bill. Asked 2 different people, and in the end decided to get up and go to the till to pay to avoid waiting any longer.

Just Wow, and not in a good way. I went with my partner and a friend for dinner and it was a disaster. For a Thai restaurant, there were no Thai staff, there was no authentic feel. On sitting down, the service was very slow. Our drinks came out fine. The starters came out, the chicken satay came out looking like vomit. The server leant across me to give food to the person sat on my left. We was reassured our mains would come out together. The mains came out at different times, the first two came out and were luke warm. After 15 minutes the third main still did not come out. The green thai curry was awful, it was illuminous neon green. It was at this moment we spoke with the manager and shared our concerns and cancelled the third main, he was unbothered and got the bill. When paying the server tried to overcharge us by £10, £10 more than was on the receipt. In short if you want cold food, poor service, servers leaning over you and you want to be robbed this is the place for you. We went to Wahaca across the road and it was an amazing experience in comparison.

I had a lovely meal at Busaba, which offers a cozy atmosphere and delicious, flavorful Thai food. The prices were reasonable for the quality, and the service was excellent. Special thanks to Anil, who was attentive and friendly, making the experience even better.

No sense of privacy, need to share table with others. Food was slow to serve, others who came later were served before us, service was average.

Last night we had dinner it was Delicious food and excellent service by Anil – truly a wonderful experience will come back soon !

Yesterday we had an office gathering at Busaba for lunch, and it was a fantastic experience! The food was absolutely delicious, with a great variety of flavors that everyone enjoyed. The highlight of our visit was the exceptional service provided by Anil, who was attentive, friendly, and ensured we had everything we needed. We couldn’t be happier with the overall experience and highly recommend Busaba for both the food and the outstanding service.

Went with my sister in law for dinner Friday eve. The food came out in good time and was good 👍🏽. Ordered the ginger beef with rice - was delicious. Didnt have to wait long for food drinks. The service was also good - couldn't fault it. The design of the restaurant- was sharing tables which I didnt mind because the tables were huge so you couldn't hear the other customers

Anil was an amazing server, very helpful and knowledgeable in foods. Very confident. He was kind and informed us about the tea leaves used for the jasmine tea which was delicious. This restaurant has great atmosphere and lighting and great for group settings. Alongside Anil, the other servers are also happy to to genuinely help with a smile, which is rarely seen in London nowadays. Definitely gatekeeping.

The VG Pad Thai is very sub-par. £14 for a half portion of the "normal size" which you would get anywhere else. Also too vinegary. I felt like I was eating a takeaway. I asked for some chilli flakes (which is a standard thing any Thai restaurant would have), they didn't have. Gave me some chilli oil which I didn't want as the pad thai was already very oily. I asked for some chopped fresh chilli and I got that, great! Service was good, prompt and friendly. I ordered a Rose and they gave me a Red, told them so they immediately rectified. Nice decor and vibe. But I won't come back as the pad thai was not even an "alright" and was overpriced. No photo as didn't want to take any after seeing the small portion. (Now going to find another place to eat and spotted another good one close-by!!! Stupid me didn't google map before coming in!!!)

A disappointing experience, the tables were sticky and not properly cleaned. It was very difficult to get anyone's attention, on eof my party ended up having to grab the cleaning bottle and a cloth herself to wipe down the table. Service was slow. Cutlery was asked for multiple times, food was brought out warm as opposed to hot and by the time we got cutlery the food was essentially cold. Another member of my party had to wait another 30 min for her food whilst the rest of us ate- this also had to be asked about multiple times. Starters came out after the mains. For a restaurant that is constantly raved about this was a poor performance/service. It felt like most of the time we were been blown off by the servers, except for a female server at the end. Honestly the worst experience ever I've had at a restaurant.

The table was very sticky. When asked the table to be cleaned . No one came. After 20min I got up to clean table myself to find out it’s water inside their cleaning product. Waiter didn’t serve us on time, food was cold to 1:30mins after we ordered. They forgot my friends meal. The service was terrible

Christy was our server and she was incredibly patient and helpful with our group, I really appreciated the time she gave us and the checking through of the order. We neded to reorder a Jasmin tea but once I got her attention she cane through once again and helped us out.

I recently visited Busaba with my friends, and our experience was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and seated in a lovely spot. Anil was attentive without being intrusive, and he made sure that everything was perfect throughout the meal. He was quick to offer thoughtful recommendations and provided us with detailed explanations of the menu. His knowledge and enthusiasm for the dishes were evident, making it easier for us to choose the perfect meal.

Mittagessen in dieser Location. Man hatte mir einen Tisch zugewiesen mit einer Art Bierbank, das ging auf den Rücken, so dass ich erst mal einen anderen Platz brauchte. Soweit kein Problem. Die Karte ist relativ übersichtlich und ich wollte eine Suppe und ein Hauptgericht bestellen. Geht aber nicht, wie mir der Kellner mitteilte, da man dies zwar so bestellen könnte, es würde aber gemeinsam serviert. Dann halt auf die Suppe verzichtet und nur ein Ginger Beef mit Reis bestellt. Die Portion war sagen wir mal sehr übersichtlich und auch für einen Hauptgang viel zu klein. Der Reis kostete extra mit 4,5 Pfund, was ich doch sehr ambitioniert fand für die recht kleine Portion und für 22,66 Pfund ging ich dann dort umzufrieden, aber immerhin noch hungrig wieder raus. Die Qualität war jetzt nicht schlecht, aber auch nicht so, dass ich in Jubeltöne ausbrechen würden. Würde ich nicht nochmal hingehen.

Very good Thai food. Keep in mind it's "westernized" but still delicious flavors. We tried the tamarind duck breast dish and it was very tender and delicious. We also had some tea and natural guava juice which was refreshing. Service was very good, our waitress was very nice and attentive. They are fully booked normally and there's a wait line, I suggest you make a reservation. If you're around the area it's worth trying.

I'd suggest you avoid this restaurant and spend your money elsewhere. From a recent visit, every restaurant metric was disappointing. Lengthy wait for food and they want to charge service charge, which didn't taste very Thai and very expensive for Stratford and my daughter's dish had hair in it. Best you go to Soho or elsewhere and have some authentic Thai food, rather than some cowboy Indians attempting to serve up such dishes.

Food well presented does not mean good food or service. Prices are abusive and not reasonable. Around £15 for a small bowl of curry beef and extra £4.5 for a small bowl of boiled white rice… just not right. Staff did not ask how the food was or offered more drinks. They just dropped the food on the table (late for a couple of guests). Food is nothing authentic but pretending to be trendy Asian / Thai food. How is it possible that people like this place!?

Avoid if you like real Thai food!!! Sitting in this restaurant right now and struggling to enjoy the absolute worst Thai food ever. Most unauthentic, uninspired, fake excuse for a Thai experience I’ve ever known. Tom Yam without galanga or Kafir lime, or any other Herbs?!? Pad Krapow without any Krapow leaves, garlic or oyster sauce?!?! Nice decor and staff but really bad “Thai” food :( Such a shame as I thought the Busaba brand was quite renowned for authenticity.
