Die Burritos waren immer lecker, aber aufhalten möchte man sich dann doch lieber woanders. Der Laden ist nicht besonders gemütlich und lieblos gestaltet und auch das Personal ist nicht besonders freundlich, aber um schnell einen Burrito zu essen, ist dies eine gute Adresse.

Gran burrito, excelente servicio y muy complaciente con las peticiones. Tuve una mezcla de pollo y carne de cerdo. Muy recomendable. ??

gezellig tentje met fantastisch mexicaans eten. Heerlijke burrito's en ze blijven de ingrediënten maar opstapelen voor een schappelijke prijs. Heerlijk als lunch of snel diner. Gezellige sfeer met leuke mexicaanse muziek en een paar zitplaatsen.

A mi hijo le encantan los burritos, así que pensé que no podríamos equivocarnos aquí. Me dieron un Groupon ya que las críticas se veían bien. La experiencia estuvo muy lejos de ser agradable. El personal de servicio era amable aunque un poco distante. La comida no se veía apetitosa y era extremadamente degustación promedio. La nevera de bebidas estaba vacía con solo unas cuantas bebidas de precio premium en las que tuvimos que pagar extra a pesar de que no había nada más que ofrecer excepto el agua del grifo. El café en sí se sentía desalmado y poco acogedor y no podía esperar a irme. Por lo que ofrece es bastante caro. Este lugar lo dejará sin burritos, así que evite a toda costa.

What a fantastic little place :-) Loving the atmosphere, the staff is very friendly and the chicken burrito is wow!!! My second day there this week... i had the naked one on Tuesday and the normal one today! I’ll definitely get back next week... shame I cannot have the quesadilla.. my lactose intolerant won’t like it... a must try if you are in the area...

I use to come to London for work and everytime I come, I make an stop to this amazing burritos shops. The staff are really confident and they make the experience better. This time my waitres was two girls: one French and another spanish one. They were simple amazing. Last time there were the Spanish Supervisor who made an excellent customer service. About burritos: Chicken burritos are the best. Go for Large for £1 more. Definitely, I will come back with my friends.

£9 for an average burrito. Go somewhere else! No vibe and the place has no atmosphere whatsoever. Staff member was pretty rude to top it off.

Had been in a couple bars before hand came out at 12am absolutely starving and I decided to go for a Burrito. The staff were extremely friendly and I wasn’t sure what to order so asked the manager to just feed me ! I left it down to him and I was absolutely delighted with the Burrito it was without doubt the best I’ve had, I devoured it ... it was delicious. I will need to find a excuse to go to kings cross again so I can have another. Highly recommend .. I will be back for more 😋

This place is a fave among folks in our office. The burritos are very tasty and we used to stop by at least once a week for our burrito fix. However, the owners have put the prices up and it now costs £10.45 for a large burrito with guacamole. I mention the guacamole because it used to be £1 extra - it's now £1.50, which to me is getting pretty greedy. There are many nice restaurants in the area where £10.45 will buy you a full dine-in meal so we've decided to park our burrito cravings for now, which is a shame, as they are indeed yummy.

A large burrito is only £1 more I think and you get so much more and so definitely I would recommend this Altho to be fair, even a smaller 1 will fill you up! And so if you get a large, you will get better value... but probably leave half until the morning

Every time I visit London, I have to stop and get a burrito from this restaurant! I am from California (USA) where burritos are an almost daily thing. Outside of California, this is the best burrito place that I've eaten. Great choices, located within steps of St. Pancras, and excellent food. You will fall in love with this place.

Nous nous sommes arrêtés dans ce restaurant pour manger assez rapidement. Nous avions une grande faim et apres un burritos "Large" ce n'était plus que de l'histoire ancienne . Relativement bien garni. Le personnel est patient et souriant au vue de mon anglais approximatif. " Good experience" donc pour manger assez rapidemment il n' y a pas photo, à 2 pas de la gare king cross ! Propreté nickel ! Ils me reverront si je passe dans le coin

The smell was what made me visit this place. It smells amazing when you walk by.I order a burrito and had it there, the atmosphere is alright, chilled and nice comfortable furniture.The food in the other hand was tasteless.Nothing compared to a nice burrito with all the flavors of the meat, the rice, and sauces that a burrito is supposed to go with.I was very, very disappointed. Don't be fooled by the smell its definitely not worth it £6.00.

We visit the Burrito Cafe every week, and can absolutely say that it is the best burrito I have ever had.The ingredients are always fresh, the guacamole is delicious, and the staff are wonderful.The seating needs improving, however it is comfortable, great food and excellent value.

I've visited this eatery possibly 2/3 times and I must say every time I visit I am never disappointed. They offer a very speedy lunch service which is great as I only get an hour break and the portion sizes are ideal especially what you are paying for! I feel that you get your money's worth if you go for a 12" burrito as it's bigger and only £1 more. The first time I visited I had the 12" burrito with chicken, white rice, refried beans, salsa and cheese. The mistake I made was forgetting to chose a sauce as I felt the refined beans were a little overpowering (but my fault entirely), however, the chicken was beautifully cooked and tasted extremely juicy and tender! The second time I visited I opted for the 12" quesadilla. At first I thought it was not going to fill me up but to my surprise the quesadilla it did as it also came with some tortilla chips. In the quesadilla I got chicken (again beautifully cooked), black beans, rice, cheese and mild sauce. In essence I feel the black beans tasted better than the refried beans as it has a little more flavour. Due to the fact that the tortilla is toasted, it gives it a nice crunch but still retains the softness of the fresh tortilla. Having ordered the mild sauce it gives the quesadilla a fresh herby taste which goes great with the rice, beans and chicken. The tortilla chips were nice and went well with the quesadilla and the amount of chips they gave was more than I expected!As for the decor it is unique and vibrant leaving a relaxed atmosphere. Overall considering the pricing, quantity of food and service I will have to give this cafe/restaurant a 8/10. Brilliant speedy service and great tasting food for a reasonably price! Anyone passing through King's Cross should definitely visit if they are in need of a quick bite to eat!

The chicken burritos here are first class and just the ways burrito should be done. Also try the guacamole, good. The staff are also very friendly.

This is good value for money in a clean , cheerful environment. The walls are adorned with Mexican street scenes and background music to match. I had two chicken tacos, piled high with beans, salad, salsa, sauces and cheese . There are different strength salsas so it can be as spicey as you like and for £5 was good value

Came here for a quick meal before heading to a gig. Not an extensive menu but that's a good thing in this case. Food I had was tasty and filling. Also not too expensive.

Went here on a friday night after a few beers at the Big Chill House round the corner. Me and a friend had chicken burritos and they were delicious. I forgot my phone which I had put on charge and they kept it safe in the office until after the weekend and I picked it up on the Monday! Really friendly and helpful staff!!Highly recommend!!!

Burritos is a lovely friendly place where you choose what goes on your nachos. The portions are not too expensive, huge, simple and very fresh. There is no kids menu but they can share an adult portion It feels authentic, only down side was that the toilet wasn't working!

One word: bland. Mainly because they don't actually balance the portioning of ingredients that make up the burrito. A few slices of peppers there and the odd courgette there... poorly seasoned chicken. Really un-exciting food. Which is a shame because Mexican is all about bold flavour, no?Positives: everything was fresh and you know you had a quality product. But they need to sack the chef and get some creativity in there. Won't come back for more... such a shame.Chilango is my favourite. There's one opposite Angel station. They won best Mexican two/three years in a row for a reason. Their burritos are £6.30, packed full of flavour and better range of ingredients to choose from. Go there!

An okay burrito, but noticed it is Halal on my way out. If you try to avoid eating barbarically slaughtered religious meat, then don't come here as all the meat I presume is Halal (according to the label on the door).

Highly recommended restaurant if you want some great tasting mexican food, with fresh ingredients and a reasonable price, this is the place to come. I always drop into this place if i'm in the area - the staff are friendly and they have a couple of nice beers in too. Great place to eat!!

First review on TripAdvisor for me but I have to - this place is one of London's hidden gems for me. Found randomly as it is open till late near King's Cross station, it's small but great - friendly staff, great atmosphere and most of all THE FOOD! My favorite is the Pork Quesadilla, which is hands down the best I've ever had - and trust me, I lived in LA and tried all kinds of Mexican food. If you have a chance make sure you swing by the place and get one! ;)

I tried this a while ago and its not bad at all If you wanna have a burrito around kings cross are than this is a good place to have it its better than benito's hat (which is in kings cross) and the service is nice plus you can sit and relax while having your meal ! they also have fancy lemonade (a bit expensive) overall nice place

The ingredients are good but the meat (beef for me) was disgusting. It was a shame because the guacamole, vegetables, nachos were tasty. But the meat has nothing to do with the mexican one.

It is quite expensive for a burrito but the food is quite good and there is different types of food (quesadilla, burrito, nachos...). However, the restaurant is open all night long during the week-end which is amazing :).

We just popped in while waiting for our train, I've got to say I've seen some attentive servers in my time but this place beets them all hands down! In such a busy place every assistant was attentive and served with a smile, a nice refreshing change in the busy world we live in these days!! Oh and the food was fab too

I'm not expert in mexican kitchen, i tried burritos, tacos, and quesadillas only in this cafe. But in my opinion:+good SPICY taste+very nice staff+great location-price: 6,95-10 pound per portion-food wasn't hot, something between warm and cold. great as a cold lunch, bad as hot lunch or dinner.now i know that i like burritos etc. I like spicy food, i love experiments with different food from other cultures. For me it was great as a first experiance, I am sure that one day I'll be back there

You can actually get real burritos here , wrapped with chicken, cheese, rice , vegatables, beans and i swear its really 100% mexican. Reasonable , too

I had heard mixed reviews about this place, but would say wasnt disappointed.I tried while catching a train at king cross. I had limited time and I could say they did justice to the food, speed and top it all the value for money.Definitely worth a try when in a rush and great value for money

Went there last night had a chicken burrito, bland and tiny..this place used to be good, portions are tiny now..I once caught the owner berating staff for being too generous.Yes it is a business but come on! £6.99 no tortilla chips or salad just the offer of steamed limp veggies.I went a few months ago and thought they were just having a bad day..apparently not.Avoid.

Burrito was not as hot as I would have liked. Went with a 20% off voucher, and there were WiFi problems, but they eventually still honoured it. Either wrap was too thin or too much liquid from sauce so burrito did not stay intact very well. Taste was OK, refillable soft drink with meal deal, but that costs £9.50, which is probably In line with other similar places.

Bought a kgb deal for this place with coffee and churros. Looked nothing like the photos and they had no other hot drinks available apart from coffee.Cafe itself was a bit grimy and lacked atmosphere. Wouldn't return.

This place used to be fantastic and I was a regular. Amongst the best 'fast food' burritos I've had in London and often, while passing through Kings Cross on the tube, I couldn't resist hopping off and popping in just to grab one. The service was always excellent too with an array of complimentary corn chips & salsas varying from mild to a scorching habanero one to nibble while waiting to be served it was a cut above most of it's competitors. I can only surmise it has very recently had a management take-over as the prices seem to have gone up (slightly) and there are some decidedly inauthentic, non-Mexican fillings now on offer (perhaps to cover all bases with the large back-packer hostel trade in the area?) at the evident expense of the traditional ones. Not sure if they are simply trying to expand their range since so many other burrito cafes are popping up but this does not work and I sincerely hope they will re-appraise the wisdom of these changes and return to what they did fantastically before, namely serving delicious and well priced burritos. NB: 'poor rating' based on most recent visit; previously I would have given the King's Cross Burrito Café a resounding VG.

Had burritos from cafe style/fast food Mexican places in the States but never in London, only restaurants, (not all of them good), but these quick and authentic versions were satisfyingly delicious. Got a takeaway for myself, my wife, and 10 year old daughter. I had the veggie option with the hottest salsa and it was really good, with a well proportioned combo of fresh ingredients and satisfyingly spicy. My daughter LOVED hers and it was big enough for her to save half for tomorrow's lunch!! My wife had the beef which she said was really excellent. She loves Mexican food and is usually quite critical, especially if the meat is under par, and the gacamole/refried beans etc not flavoursome, but she gave this a thumbs up on all fronts!! Staff were polite and efficient, and the whole process was quick and easy, as somewhere like Subway should be (but rarely is). Will be going back when we're in the area again!!

To be fair, I've had worse burritos at festivals, but never in an actual shop. I'm vegan and can't speak for the meat, but my burrito was almost entirely rice- despite me saying i was vegan i was given two slices of pepper, when i asked for more i got a third slice. The burrito was flavourless and pretty cold. Tables were also sticky and grubby. Avoid!

I am so upset that one of my favourite take-out places has gone so downhill.I used to live around the corner and my boyfriend and i would visit regularly. The staff were always friendly and helpful and most importantly, good at making our food! Portions were always a good size and we were happy to buy extras.We moved out of the area, so don't visit as often now, but still occasionally, and we have noticed the difference over the last 6 months especially.First there was a re-brand, where the old logo and signage, which was quite modern and fresh, has changed to a more traditional look - fair enough, i personally preferred the old look, it was different to your stereotypical mexican take-out, but never mind.Secondly, old staff have moved on (or maybe i've just visited on days where i don't recognise anyone) and they now seem to be a lot more impatient and rude.My experience tonight it a culmination of this.My boyfriend and I walked in to be greeted by a guy behind the counter, who was serving two other guys. He quickly told us he would be with us in a minute, not a problem we said.Another guy quickly ran out from the back to serve us. He took my boyfriends order, a chicken burrito and very quickly took him through all the ingredient options, so quick that he nearly added things he didn't want. He wrapped it rather haphazardly, but we didn't think anything of it, it was never going to be Michelin star standard presentation.I then ordered my pork quesadilla. I asked for some grilled peppers and was given 2 slices. I asked for some more and got approx. 3 extra. I then asked for some guacamole and was told no, it makes the quesadilla too wet to cut. I explained it had never been an issue for the last 2 years and i was happy to pay extra as usual. I was given half a spoonful and before i could ask for anything else to be added, he started wrapping it up - obviously he just wanted to get rid of us by this point. Not sure why, there was only one man behind us in the queue and he was being served by the other guy.My quesadilla was only put on the hot plate for about a minute, which would probably explain why he finds it hard to cut them when he's in such a rush and doesn't actually cook them properly!I was given the other half a spoonful of guacamole in the box with my, what turned out to be, stale, chewy nacho chips.I'm so upset, this really used to be such a great place (i have the loyalty card and everything!), but i made a point of saying as i was paying, we will not be returning.

Very good place to take a few time for your taste. Lovely burritos and happy people to serve them,I go there everyday for lunch, and everyday is a good time for my tast and for my hunger.I suggest it to everybody!!!

I went here because I got a Groupon deal but it's definitely not worth full price and I wouldn't go again. The meat and toppings lacked flavour and the pulled pork was too wet so the burrito ended up being very drippy. It's not a nice venue either. There is an Honest Burgers nearby if you want a better place to go in Kings Cross, or if you want a decent burrito try Chilango instead (the Angel one is the best).

Oh this is a disappointment. Just not worth the effort. A heater cabinet of microwaved muck, how long its been sitting there I don't know. The veg option is just no meat. The service was brusque and verged on rude. The whole place lacks hygiene. Cheap and nasty, never again.

Visited this place before catching the train home, 4 of us just managed to squeeze onto a table. The Burritos were very tasty and well made and the service was very good.

A really great restaurant in a nice area, friendly staff, brilliant service and amazing food. The best burritos ever I've eaten in London. I can definitely recommend it to everyone who wants to enjoy real Mexican food in London! I'll come back soon to enjoy this brilliant restaurant again.

I visited this place for a chicken burrito and it was great! The inside is pretty nice and relaxed, there's a cute little area at the back of the shop to eat too.

Very disappointed with my pulled-pork burrito. It was well packed but mostly with rather tasteless rice. I wasn't alone in my group who suspected the pulled-pork was actually tuna as it was insipid and did not have a "meat' flavour at all. Several of us thought we would give Burrito Cafe another go after a less that impressive first visit about a year ago. Unfortunately we have concluded that we will not be using it again as we felt ripped off.

Great food! Very fresh and tasty. The store was very clean and the staff were friendly and attentive. The servings were pretty generous too! Great value for money i think. Would eat there again for sure.

Unlike a lot of other burrito restaurants, Burrito Cafe throws out any food left over at the end of the day and starts again fresh, every day. Considering this, the value for money is fantastic, and I now walk the extra 5 minutes to eat there regularly! 2 big thumbs way up for Burrito Cafe, check it out today and be satisfied!

Went here for lunch the other day. Super quick service, and tasty food. Good selection of burrito fillings, and generous servings, I could barely finish my burrito it was so filling! My friend is a very fussy eater, and staff were more than happy to answer all her questions on the different options. Staff were friendly and efficient, and great value for money!

Yo ya habia ido en un par de ocasiones anteriores. Los burritos son abundantes y bastante sabrosos, pero algo caros en mi opinión si se le ponen los extras, Esta vez compramos un un coupon unos amigos y desayunamos un burrito breakfast, que en realidad es mas parecido a un English Breakfast enrollado que a un burrito. Pero se le puede poner chorizo y el resultado merece la pena. El sitio aunque pequeño es acogedor y el servicio muy agradable. En esta ocasión había una chica húngara que si su jefe lee esto bien haría en darle un aumento de sueldo. En resumen, se merece una oportunidad.

Me and my friend went to this cafe this evening, i must say that the overall experience was very average, staff seemed inexperienced as they mixed upour burrito ingredients and in the end we both had to eat the toppings that we didnt want. Place doesnt have toilets for paying customers however by the way itlooked there is a toilet for staff to use. There are tables inside if you want to eat in, i would say that if you are in a hurry and need a quick bite you can try this place however do not expect much from it!

I'll keep it brief. The staff were very nice indeed - however:1. If you are going to serve the public food and drinks, you should provide basics like toilets. There are no toilets. Clearly the staff use a toilet, they just don't allow the paying customers to use the toilet. What would they do if an elderly person ate there and needed the loo? 2. It is not real Mexican food, they use Turkish durum wraps, not Mexican corn tortillas. Great salsa is easy to make. Tomato, red onion, olive oil, salt, pepper, lime juice, chilli, coriander. Theirs was fairly poor.3. For some incomprehensible reason, the burritos are bland, especially the vegetables - my g/f had a veggie burrito and it was watery and flavourless. 4. The music is like Mexican MTV-pop, Why not just play some real Mexican music?5. The decor is reminiscent of the video for 'Let's Go Outside' by George Michael.When people eat at foreign food joints, they want good food and a cultural experience. This fails on both levels.

The only reason that we visited the Burrito Café was because we had a Groupon voucher that we decided to use before catching a train from Kings Cross station.The idea of making your own Burrito was great but it didn't really work for this place given that the selection of ingredients was very limited.The Burrito itself was of a reasonable standard both in size and quality of taste but if we had to have paid for the meal we probably would have been a bit more disappointed.The best bit of the experience was trying a Mexican beer called Sol which I had never had before which was very nice.

visited on a very hot day, inside was extremely hot. the soft drinks machine was broken and the cans weren't cold either. inside looked like a redesigned toilet which did not help the eating experience

Right, all the ingredients LOOK good as they pile them onto your wrap, but why is the end-result so tasteless? There is an awesome burrito place on Charing Cross Road (Chiquito? Chipolito?) - now THAT'S a good burrito at the same price as this one.

Since arriving in London a week ago I have been coming back here every day (and once, twice in a day!) Amazing service with a smile, I had never had a burrito before but the manager (I think called Nathan) explained that the staff would take me through the process and recommended what to have. It was out standing! Best takeaway food I have had in a long time. The chicken was so tasty and flavoursome, There are 3 options Chicken Beef and Pork. all are excellent. The salsa's beautifully accompanying the ingredients (I went for hot, which is hot but still lots of flavour, not just burn your mouth hot -thay have tasters for you to sample the hotness of the salsas). The Decor is simple but clean. They do some great beers which is great with a spicy burrito. The one downside is that they don't deliver! They do stay open until 4am as I found out to my delight after a night out! Also I found there Nachos to be nothing special, but the Burritos are awesome. well done Burrito Cafe!

As soon as I get off the train at Kings Cross I have to head here. I only visit 2-3 times a year and every time the food is the same quality and tastes amazing!
