Pretty average visit to this Burger King. Found the service a little bit on the slow side to be honest. The cost was as you’d expect - a little bit dearer than High Street. The Peppercorn Angus Burger was definitely the winner here - first time of trying it and it was great. May become the Burger of choice from this point forward. The rest of the food was good but nothing to fill you with excitement. Still grudge paying 30p for Mayonnaise.

A long wait and a cold burger. It was the worst BK meal I've ever eaten. There were only 3 people working (that I could see) so they didn't have enough staff.

Do not bother to go to this Burger King burgers come out cold kids cheeseburger came with sauce when we requested it plain staff were pleasant but slow verging on incompetent. Best thing about it was watching the vehicles go along motorway. Tables were dirty bins were full to overflowing not a good experience

Dirty FOH 3 on counter empty at 9.15 pm apart from two tables, why was no one clearing and wiping tables, emptying bins etc

Absolutely Disgusting, was there 40 minutes total, bins overflowing, tables full of used food bags, staff totally unorganised. Food given was NOT what was advertised, crispy chicken was frozen and of poor quality. Flies all over the window area, I have seen cleaner squatter homes. Never return for sure. I will attach pictures.

We ordered two cheese melt burgers, firstly they got the order wrong but what we got was a disappointing excuse of a burger anyway. We changed our order which finally came but by then our fries were cold. When we asked for fresh fries I was told by Aidan to "go away". He was great at calling out order numbers but his efficiency stops there. The food, the staff, the cleanliness was all a huge let down to say the least. Aidan may be great at bingo calling but his people skills are crap. The guy was incompetent to the extreme and an embarrassment to the Burger King chain.

I wouldn't often feel compelled to review a service station BK, but I simply couldn't believe how bad this one was. I was so focused on getting my order placed on the screen that I didn't properly look around until this was done. Overflowing bins, filthy uncleared tables, and a floor that looked like it hadn't been attended to in a month. Orders were backing up and the staff on duty were moving around in slow motion with no apologies or acknowledgement of the time that people were having to wait (25 minutes in my case for burger, chips and a drink). The entire service station is old and tired, but that shouldn't stand in the way of cleanliness and good service. Don't stop here!

This has to be the filthiest, most disgusting Burger King I’ve ever been in. The entire service station in which it’s housed, is disgusting, from the toilets to the seating area. The bins in the Burger King area are filthy; covered in old food and sauce. Tables not wiped down. The floor looks like it hasn’t been mopped since 2003. The burger itself was grim. Dry and lukewarm. Probably been cooked hours before and left to fester on the heat plate. Limp, disgusting salad. And all for £7.89. Disgusting.

Stopped for a late night stop for meals for family of 4, very large dis organised queue caused by touch screens not working.... ok fine it happens I have never seen front of house so messy and appear soo unclean and untidy with rubbish on floor and front of the desk. After getting back to vehicle and continue driving also find that some items were also missing! We have used this stop often, but this is the worst experience we have had here

Absolutely appalled by the entire experience. Took about 20 minutes to order on the electronic machines since almost nothing worked properly. Most of the items listed on the menu inexplicably weren’t on the ordering machines. It was so overcrowded that the food took about 50 minutes to be ready, and because you just had to remember your order number someone else tried to claim our food. Staff were rude. My chicken burger was rubbery and cold and the kids’ nuggets were vile. Tables were revolting with crumbs and weird grease. DO NOT COME

Avoid unless you want to be waiting half an hour for a ‘fast food’ meal. The place was literally dirty, no one cleaning, bins overflowing. Our drinks were wrong, which were not even our first choice drinks because after waiting half an hour we got told milkshakes were not working. Some of our food items were wrong too which was just comedically bad after such a long wait. Staff didn’t offer any apology. They really need to close this place or at least completely overhaul it.

Got to be the worse in the UK Chips were stone cold, could not eat them, service poor,place was not clean. Dont eat here even if it's the last resort

Great and fast service, not busy at lunchtime, offers sit down tables and Help Out To Eat Out 50% discount at time of writing (others eg. Charnock Richard don’t), not forgetting the cheapest petrol on the whole Scotland run. Happy boys

Everything over cooked in dirty oil!!!! Staff don’t care useless!!!!! £37 for a family of 5 to have lunch and was vile!!!!! Not happy customers!!!!

Berger king - extremely poor slow under staffed dirty tables floors food expensive and very poor quality not recommended no ice cream no alternative offered staff didn't seem to care about cleaning the tables or how long people had to wait

Simple basic burger meals , Not classy but the food was good ,hot and plentiful for a motorway service it was reasonably priced.

Early Sunday evening and Forton Services (N) was virtually closed... the choice was either a burger from Burger King or an M&S sandwich. We chose the burger... bad move. terrible service, terrible food, scruffy environment. What is there not to dislike?

Awful food, waited ages, chips cold, burger horrid would not use Burger King again. Much more expensive than it's rival and no where near as good.

First of service was crap, We only order sides and waiting for ages and when the food was finally ready they’re some order missing “dips” not only that the food was overdone I mean burnt and old.

We visited the northbound services. The staff are very lacklustre and the food mediocre - lukewarm and greasy. I would not eat there by choice, but hadn't realised it was the only restaurant open upstairs at night - so no other choice on offer.
