Burger King in East Lindsey

Absolutely disgusting first walking in the was spilt pop all over the floor thinking maybe there had been a accident we preceeded to order our food it was quick paid and went to a table only 1 clean table and food all over the floor my 10yr old was horrified our number was shouted we got are food no condiments about was offered on ordering so had to que for them the food was barely warm baring in mind we had waited 10mins for our food to be ready the bread buns tasted stale and fell apart. The cleaner mopped the drink from the floor and disappeared not to be seen.again while all the tables sat filthy and food everywhere under tables my son couldn't eat his food it made him feel sick and we left hes 10 and knew it was bad so how did all the adults working there not see the same definitely would not recommend

We had drive through which tend to be quit basic the girl taking the order was very polite, clear to understand and helpful. She could not do more to make my visit pleasant. Some people might say the burgers were slightly over cooked by I found them to be really tasty.

I had a problem with my order, the manager and staff couldn't have done anymore to correct thank you

What can I say other than DON'T BOTHER! My god. 40 minute wait for food. Wouldn't mind but there was only 1 family in when we arrived... and nobody when we left! Absolutely shocking.

Visited via the drive thru, 2 whopper meals, sat in the car park, opened my burger only because to remove the pickle, to my horror was a very long blond hair in it, went in to complain, oh im sorry is the hair still in it the assistant said, yes of course my reply, ill get you another one she said, to my horror she went around the back and told the assistant about it and asked for another whopper to be prepared her reply was would she like extra hair in that, dont think they knew i had heard them, disgusting behaviour, ive emailed burger king and not got a good enough reply from them, hence posting on here, not be going to any burger king again, not that we visited often anyway, but not the sort of thing id expect from such a giant company, get your place in order.

popped in lakeside for a break ,hungry and tired so tried burger king , the burgers we had were lovely but the place is absolutely filthy ,the toilets were terrible ,the floors through out were sticky ,our table was absolutely shocking in fact we had to clean it all before daring to sit, the plastic dividers between the seats were full of greasy food and finger /hand prints you could hardly see through them ,there was food and tissues all over the floors ,the tables were very stained ,we wont be calling again ,and would never recommend the place ,if my partner hadnt of ordered and paid we wouldnt of risked it ! he was also ill and needed a drink and food before we could move again ,food was good and we are ok today no poorly tummys but think we were lucky ,i would hate to see behind that counter in the kitchen , wont go again .i know the girls get busy but the place was dead ,it takes a few minutes to wipe round and sweep floors a bit of glass cleaner on the dividers !! not 1 clean table in the place ,infact we asked for a cloth and some cleaner ,we were told she would come over and clean the table and seating but never showed so we did it ourselfs with tissues and our own hand gel !!! we did take photos but unfortunately partners phone in the shop getting fixed but the pictures are on there ,will upload at a later date , go there at your own risk we think ,never again its not worth the risk ,maccys or beef eater further up the road .

Absolute GARBAGE CHIPS COLD BURGER SOGGY they would not except my voucher I had printed off the internet they said it only applies to smart phones down load I do not have a smart hence the printing off the internet would never go there again total rubbish no wonder there was no customers.

I only go here cos my son loves it,but today really got me,yes theres always something missing but I dont go and complain, today my son was in hospital and I only had a hour time slot to go see him,ordered a chicken royal meal with cheese and bacon....got to hospital and they hadn't even put the chicken in it! Couldn't go back cos my time slot would have been over at the hospital. Yes mistakes do happen but not this often

I visited here with my family for lunch, the place was clean and tidy. The food was prepared quickly, served warm and server was pleasant. I was shocked to see so many poor reviews on here and if I had read these first I wouldn't of went. However, I am pleased I didn't read these first and got to make up my own mind.

Waited at drive thru order point.and waited.....and waited. Finally acknowledged to save she'd be with me in a minute. She wasn't. Repeated - 'I'll be with you in a minute' Again, she wasn't. Left..... only to find the only other car in the place only just collecting food from the next window. No wonder this is empty. Does anyone actually work here or is it just some kind of money laundering outfit ? Won't be back. Ever.

I love burgerking food but i live out of town and there's no delivery service so i only usually end up having a burgerking when im in town. Ive took them home a few times only to find items missing or the wrong food in the bag and this is probably about 95% of the time, i now either check before setting off home or eat in the car so i can go back around again to complain about what's missing, i once had to do this 3 times for one order as they couldnt seem to get it right (how hard is it to do a whopper with cheese, no lettuce, tomato or pickle?). Ive never known a place get food orders as wrong so often, serious lack of communication somewhere, it puts me off going there! I once waited 25 mins for food which never actually came, staff asked if id been served after i was stood there for the 25 min to which i replied "no" and explained i was still waiting, they apologised and gave me a large bag of food with different types of burgers, nuggets, fries in it and still none if what i originally asked for, dont know how that place is still running, also it seems to be whenever i go the milksake machine isnt working. Went today for a single whopper with cheese no lettuce, tomato or pickle as a meal with strawberry shake to be told they weren't doing milkshakes so asked for fresh orange but they weren't doing them either so i asked for a cappuccino, when i got the food the chips were luke warm, no onions on the burger and no sugar or stirrer for the cappuccino (partly my fault because i never asked) but even when ive ordered a coke or a milkshake i dont always get a straw unless i ask for one, the with napkins.

Got to the first window to pay and nobody spoke to us so we paid and went to the second window. Again nobody spoke to us until we got handed our food with a rude “any sauces” a simple hello would of been nice. Started to eat our food which was then cold and missing items, went in to get new food and the missing one and the burger was burnt and there was a hair in the chicken nuggets so tea was just chips. Appalling

Won’t accept cash as a payment for a start always forget something from my orders the building is not clean wipe your shoes on the way out if there was another Burger King near me I would never use this restaurant again

Went day or two before lockdown. Made to wait for 25minutes why they continued to serve cars. Someone else in meantime complained and got refund and didn't eat food. Highly understaffed who are made to play game on computer system to say they have served customers quickly. So you can keep time down by 1notvserving customers until no drive through queue. 2. Say they have food on computer restaurant comparer before they do to stay up leader board. Blame owner of francishe for stupid kpis which make people believe he has enough staff because service times on computer says it's quick. But truth is people just walk out fed up of waiting. As my previous review saying it's a nice place on sunny day was a 4. This time and too often it's a 1star.

Benefits from south facing restaurant on raised ground. Go on a sunny day. It's a lovely place to sit in sun on a windy sunny day and feel heat through windows. Clean, friendly staff served nice fast food. Far better than 2star. Has had recent central heating issues but today was great. Much better than lots of other fast food restaurants.

We visit this place quite often. And to be honest 9 times out of ten something goes wrong.Saturday was classic. Women behind the counter stressing out and took 13 minutes for 2 double cheeseburger n fries.Other previous events include repairing lights standing on food ramp with no protection and was not wiped down afterwards.

We arrived for lunch and this is where it went wrong there was only 1 person in front of a young lad , he asked for bbq sauce and was told there was charge it's free at other fast food outlets by other names , there was myself and husband for lunch I ordered 2 x packs of mozzarella sticks with there being 2 of us we expected 2 packs of mozzarella sticks but no they were in the same packet while this was ok as we are married but if we were just friends then this would of been different , I ate fries and mozzarella sticks which took around 10 mins I then opened my burger which had mayo layered all over after requesting for no mayo and it even stated on the recipe no mayo while the burger was exchanged a rather loud discussion of when it was ordered and why has it taken 10 mins to come back took place with the team member that served me shrugging her shoulders it was that loud my partner heard it across the restaurant taking place even over the rather loud music that was being played , even looking for a table was a task , with only 2 other customers sat at tables you would think this easy but the cubicle seats where we wanted to sit the tables were dirty with salt or sauce and the other tables were sticky and streaky We dont go to Burger King very often but with a price tag of £20.02 and only 2 other customers sitting in you expect to be able to sit at a clean table , also if no customers waiting to be served is it so difficult to bring an order over that they got wrong and would a smile please and thank you hurt all in all not a very pleasant lunch

No fizzy drinks have something different opted for milk shake charged extra toilets where out of order as well staff so miserable won't go back

Went to Burger King on lakeside scunthorpe tables disgusting seats filthy bins overflowing and the toilets are a health hazard went across the road and took my grand daughter to the toilet in my Donald's, finally got my order had to wait 5 minutes for the drinks, worst Burger King I've been in .The staff don't seem to be interested in any sort of customer service, shocking really

Worst ever visit to one of these restaurants. As a strong advocate of customer service, with many years experience. I was in total shock at our visit. The rudeness of the staff was beyond shocking. No Hi, no eye contact. Serving the drive through, cms from us and ignored us( now I know why it was empty looking at these reviews ). Whilst being ignored I noticed a manger(Loosely I must say ) day in the office with a child on the floor eating. When they saw me the door was closed quickly. When-she did emerge all she did was bar-age the girl on the front with everything she was doing wrong whilst being extremely arrogant herself. Neither one smiled. When ordering I asked polity for 4 chicken pieces. That was it. That’s all I got. No drink, no dip and on the receipt it stayed no dip required. Whilst she was getting the orders ready she swore 3 times in front of us (Katie). My partner and I witnessed this to every customer that walked in. One was waiting 25 minutes for food and still waiting as we left. 3 peoples orders were wrong whilst we were there. Honestly the worst Burger King ever. If they worked in my restaurant they wouldn’t be there long. Get a grip Burger King Scunthorpe. Don’t you have standards. Where are your AMs, ROMs getting a grip of this. I only be returning and neither will anybody I know.

Used the drive through a few times and everytime have to ask for serviettes and condiments. Most of the staff are pleasent, one or two sounds the worse for wear when they speak on the intercom. Inside could do with a facelift.

The waiting time to be served in this branch is appalling and has been for years. The staff appear to be slow and disinterested. I hadn’t been in a while so thought I’d try it. No better sadly. No wonder McDonald’s across the road is always full while this place is dead. It’s like a home for the staff McDonald’s rejected. It’s a shame the food tastes so good but the poor service /waiting time does put me off

Friday lunchtime, one person serving. I mentioned this on here back in October, so why has this issue not been addressed? Waiting 20 minutes on a tight lunch break isn’t acceptable.

Firstly I think Burger King as a whole company has slipped massively lately. From food, to service... as a whole is very disappointing. Decided to come here as we were shopping near by. Service was not great, poor girl on the till was so disorganised, rushing and got the order wrong- she explained they were short staffed today, however there was only us and another couple in the queue- no one in the drive thru so the panic wasn’t needed. Another girl was walking round at snails pace and another colleague was using a sewing machine in the middle of the restaurant trying to sew a new cover for a seat. Personally this is out of order! Sewing machine and a staple gun in the MIDDLE of the restaurant... where people are eating their dinner and food is about. Totally out of order. I couldn’t believe my eyes. Will be going McDonald’s in the future. Really disappointed as Burger King used to be one of my favourites. I must say though the crispy chicken bacon king burger and half a bag of chips was lovely. That’s the only positive.

Well as the saying goes in a famous film, they do .... you at the drive thru. This isn't my first time of being on the receiving end of wrong order at this drive thru.

Well, I’ll admit I have visited Scunthorpe Burger King in the past, and although mixed reviews from those visits, I’ve never needed to post about it, but on Friday 12th October at lunchtime, it was the worst it has ever been, hence coming here to share the experience.

We went to this burger King last night about 5:00. The restaurant wasn't busy and only one man with his son was before us ordering to the young man behind the counter. We noticed that a few customers in the restaurant seemed to be waiting for their orders as the staff we all chatting amoung themselves. After the man placed his order we expected to be recognized by one of the crew members. Even the manager was there but no one looked at us. One young girl was counting change in her till and the young man behind the counter was "slowly" getting another order together still without even acknowledgin us. It does not take much to say " hello, I will be right with you". We were standing there, at the counter for about 10 minutes before my husband had enough. He said to the staff member counting the money that " I know that you were probably told to do that, but surely acknowledging and serving customers comes before counting money"? We could see that all the 3 staff at the counter (plus the manager) just looking at us. No apologies, No attempts to get our order. We decided to walk out at that point. What a terrible way to run a business. The manager should have recognized that we were standing there for so long without anyone even looking at us. Like I said, the place wasn't even busy. But as a manager, he should have tried to correct the situation, apologize and take our order. But he just stood there, didn't say a word and let us walk our! Terrible management and service. We went across the street to McDonald's, which was heaving but at least we got fast, friendly service. No wonder Burger King was almost empty. Especially with such terrible service

It was hard to find somewhere clean to sit. It wasn't busy and there were staff standing around. I had the chicken Royale meal. The lettuce was limp and old. Chicken was flavorless.

Expensive for a big standard meal, and adults meal and a child's meal cost me 13 pounds, want particularly warm when it arrived after the very slow service. Will remember to avoid in the future

Ordered a double whopper meal took it off to work and when I opened it I took out the fries and though they must of fallen out of the packet in to the big bag but they hadn't it was only half full. Very disappointing...

The service was slow but the food was nice staff where friendly, the place could of been cleaner but i have seen worse.

We aren’t local but fancied some breakfast after a stay at Premier Inn.

We waited 15 minutes to get served, the staff were just stood around chatting. By the time we did get served it took ages to get our cheeseburgers. Other people walked out because of the long wait.

Called in today. Stood waiting to be served as the staff chatted about what time lunch breaks were then asked for our order and she turned away half way through. The place was virtually empty, not surprise there. Food came eventually and was pretty poorly prepared.

Hoy fui con mi pequeño como maccies era absolutamente abarrotada. Fuimos a la unidad a través de una comida de adulto y pedimos, un niño de comida y 1 laterales. El costo? Casi 15 libras! ! ! ! Yo creo que si había ido, sin haber dicho no gracias, pero como yo estaba en el coche a través de la cola que sentí que no tenía otra opción que comprometerse. La comida era buena pero mi bondad que es tan caro! ! ! ! ! ! !

Yo compré 2 Whoppers y 3 un montón de patatas fritas en la tienda y los llevó a mi coche. Yo decidí que había conseguido mi orden correcto como se han cometido errores en el pasado. Me di cuenta de todos mis papas estaban en el lado corto, así que los llevó a quejarse, la directora les tomó y nos llevaron algunos nuevos el petate. Miré y vi que eran de la cantidad, así que de regreso a casa. Sólo cuando mi esposa y yo empezamos a comer, nos dimos cuenta de que había sido escabeche de sal. Obviamente esta mujer no me quejo así spitefully como pensó que probaría y me enseñan a un lección, qué vergüenza ser *** h. Tienen alguna idea de lo que una sobredosis de sal puede hacer a un cuerpo, los riñones no puede hacer frente y puede estar en dolor intenso por un largo tiempo, hasta que se han tirado de claro. Espero ver esta reseña Burger King y ofertas con esta excusa para una persona.

Great food and very friendly staff, sometimes you have to wait for your food but at least it's always hot.

Pésimo servicio en este restaurante. No hay comida es siempre listo. Detrás del mostrador de la planta está sucio. No recomiendo este restaurante a la familia o amigos. Un asistente llevaba un auricular que sirve de almacén y drive thru clientes y estaba más interesado en la unidad a través de los clientes.

Normalmente no es un lugar que nos gustaría comer, habíamos estado en la tarde viendo una película en el VUE y queríamos un bocado rápido sin tener que sentarse en cualquier sitio. Desde hace años anteriores exepreince preferimos Burger King en Mcdonalds por su sabor...

There is always a queue here, regardless of when you go in, which is pretty funny because there is hardly anyone sat in the restaurant. I do like the decor in the restaurant though, nostalgic pictures of Scunthorpe, its a good local touch, but I digress...

This restaurant is your typical fast food restaurant, it doesn't offer anything special for kids, no interactive area to keep the kids entertained apart from cardboard crowns around the outside of the room. I can't see how this will compete with the competition that has recently joined lakeside (Subway & KFC) but unless a major improvement is undergone it will not be there in 5 years time.

Visited with my son last weekend as we had vouchers and the maccies next door is closed. Stood for 10 minutes waiting to even be Served then a further 10 minutes waiting for our order. The ice cream machine was broken and there was food all over almost every single table and all over the floor. Someone did come out and begin cleaning but we had been there 30 minutes before this happened. Food however was lovely but was only good value due to the vouchers we had.They seriously need to Employ more staff, clean up the establishment or they could be in trouble when maccies opens back up. I know which one I will be eating at.

Visited burger king today sat 20 aug at 17.25, second in the que still took over 10 mins to get my order once this was done i had to wait a further 10 mins to see my food, only to send it back as the idiot behind the till cant read a till reciept and just thought he would make an order up for me.I would say this place is a joke but its well past that.

I would be more surprised if this store had everything you asked for. NEVER has ice for the smoothies. I'm only here because McDonalds is closed. Should be demolished and turned into a Starbucks.

Myself and my wife visited this establishment around mid day a week ago,we stood waiting to be served for 15 minutes, there was one person serving finally we walked out.Yesterday we tried again at 5pm stood waiting almost 15 min again (priority seemed to be given to drive thru,s) there was just one young man taking counter orders and several staff just milling around. After taking our order we waited a further 7/10 min for it to arrive and found the quality was not as great as its nearby competitors and slightly more expensive. Also the music blaring out (if you could call it that) was juvenile discordant rubbish, sorry but thats the way i found it

The food is always lovely. But you have to wait about 20 minutes for it. The queue is always huge. There's only ever one woman serving. Others don't ever seem to help her when it gets busier. Sometimes you can see your meal ready and waiting but she'll be busy serving someone else. Get more staff?!

Food just ok. They are far more interested in talking and moaning to each other than serving customers. Very poor. Gives very shoddy impression.

A treat for my granddaughters,not really,two bread cakes was stale.can you believe they put loads of mustard on a 3yr old child's meal.when we asked if they new about this they just sniggered and said yes it's company policy.how ridiculous.all staff laugh everything off.no wonder it's always empty.wont be going back

My boyfriend and I decided to get a Burger King the other day when I had a break from work. When we got there there was just one person serving behind the counter and taking the drive thru orders too. There were already five people in front of us (I heard one say they had been waiting for twenty minutes). Another worker came out and started yelling at the first worker. I heard someone in the back say that the coke machine had broken and not to take anyone else's order until it had been fixed. Needless to say my boyfriend and I left and got some food elsewhere.When Burger King is on the ball I would go to them all the time. Their Bacon Double Cheeseburger is delicious :).Xxx

We were in today and it was my first visit for ages. The young lady called Lidia on the counter was pleasant and efficient, and seemed to be doing more work than the other six staff combined. My bacon XL burger was nice, but the fries were lukewarm and turned cold within two minutes. My partner enjoyed her chicken Royale, but again the fries seemed to have been outside on the way to our table.

I had a bacon cheese chicken royale meal with a gingerbread latte. The other half has a bacon double cheese xl with coke. We were served by lidia who is a credit to the team. There were 7 staff in duty initially only 20 off customers in whilst we are but another couple of families of 4+ arrived as we left. There was a constant stream of cars at the drive thru as well so I would say they were steady. Lidia kept busy sweeping the dining area and cleaning the tables whilst serving at the counter. She was friendly and pleasant to all customers. My food was lovely and the latte delicious. The fries were tasty but not very warm and by the time he'd finished his xl portion they were too cold. The restaurant itself was quite cold it would have been better with a little bit of heating on to make it more welcoming.

Really enjoyed the chicken royale meal and the service was great. We took it back to our hotel but I looked round while we waited for our order and it looked spotless.

Well my third time of visiting the Scunthorpe Burger King at Lakeside. My advice avoid at all costs and go to McDonald's. Not a big fast food fan, but enjoy chicken nuggets and onion rings. So first ever visit after shopping on the outlet, looked quiet and clean thought I'd drop in for a quick meal, after all called a fast food restaurant ,. 25 minutes later my order arrives and not what i ordered, no real apology just a response from an untrained girl trying to do her best with a bully sorry colleague giving her orders. Was not impressed and said so. Well 45 minutes later i'm finally eating what could be described as an OK meal . So not to be put off and some month later, decided to try the drive through. After eventually getting the girl on the drive through to understand the order, i received my order and was told no tops for the already melting ice cream, which ended up melting and dripping on my friend on our 5 minute journey home. Thinking it can't possible get any worse., foolishly today 7th November 2015 fancying my favourites for lunch endeavoured to order 6 chicken nuggets and a tower of onion rings. How hard can this be. After 10 minutes waiting in the queue my order arrived and went home to discover i didn't have chicken nuggets Grrrrrr. in there place was only what i can describe as an abomination and an insult to the poor chicken who has given up it's life to be coated and deep fried. Just joking this product has never ever been part of anything that could be described as meat.Well as you will have guessed third time not lucky and will NEVER visit another Burger King would rather eat my own hand first. Here's some advice from someone who has delivered excellent customer service and trained people in it. Treat your staff with respect, introduce adequate training and inspire by positive leadership . One is the lowest score you can award in my view minus 1 is more realistic

After a 15 minute wait.. (Should have gone through drive through) We had our meal, chips were nice and hot, the burgers were Luke warm and we ate about half and left, should we of complained? What and got a free one no thanks, on the plus side the staff were friendly

Don't eat here if you want to enjoy your food.We sat down to eat our burgers today only to have it ruined by the woman who was running the shift to start screaming and yelling at the staff.Totally off putting and won't be eating here again.

exactly as you'd expect from a Burger King, average food at average prices. the king of the day meals are particularly good value

OK so we know BK like Maccy D are a fast food chain so you should know what to expect.....this review is therefore based on that theory......The problem is that the principle of fast food doesn't exist here.....it should be called slow food.....I don't blame the staff for this......simply the lack of them at peak times....One serving the counter, one on the drive through & it seems only one cooking at most times means you will have to wait....even with only a couple of customersFood when it arrives is hot & tasty but the decor also leaves a lot to be desired & lazy customers who do not clear their tables mean that it's not as tidy as it could be.Sorry BK but this is not the standard we expect of your establishments......having a Maccy D over the road cannot help but when a fast foot restaurant cannot even provide fast food there is something wrong

Cheap and cheerful BK. Friendly, welcoming and happy staff. Clean and tidy restaurant area, super loos. Only problem was a broken ice cream machine. Good parking - outside is a bit smelly if a westerly wind is blowing across the steelworks.

I would not go here, we went recently for a quick family lunch. Never again. I normally prefer BK to the others but this place was a mess. Food and waste all over floor in dining area. Order was incomplete, items were wrong on the order. Staff were just messing around in the cooking area instead of preparing food at a decent speed. The manager was shouting at staff in view of diners. overall not a good example of BK. Won't be back.

Been here a few times before and always found the service exceptionally slow. Thought I would give it another go and it seems to have got even slower. One member of staff on the counter at 12:00 who looked completely shell shocked at the prospect of serving customers and couldn't organise the orders she was serving. Two shift managers just seemed to be wandering about behind the counter and ignoring customers who were waiting. One of the team members spent five minutes asking everyone if a particular order was theirs and then it turned out to be some poor person who had ordered from the drive through and was waiting in the car park.If quick, friendly and efficient service is what you're after, avoid Burger King Scunthorpe.

I've always preferred BK's food to McDonald's,but stayed away from Scunthorpe's branch of BK because of it's reputation. After a recent attempted visit I certainly won't be going back-10 minutes queueing while the tables nearest the tills were filled with folk who'd ordered but were still waiting for their food. The main entertainment was listening to the few staff that were on duty arguing over who was going to work the drive through. Walked out,crossed the road to Maccy D's,served and sat with our meals within 3 minutes. Scunthorpe has no Burger King,only a Burger Peasant!

Having waited 15 minutes for my BK Chicken burger imagine my horror when biting into it n finding it still frozen. Even the manager wouldn't tell me the temperature of the burger when I asked for it to be probed. Avoid at all costs, I certainly will be in future

The past 3 time I have attempted to obtain a choclate and or sticky toffee hottie from this Burger King the microwave has been out of order rather disapointingly I am still yet to enjoy a tasty hottie, I wouldn't as bothered but as there is an agors straight across from them they could quite eaisly nip across and get a new one .

Having some serious stomach problems in the past, not going there any more. But it could be only me having bad luck or pure coincidence. Either way not risking.
