Burger Joint in Newham

The setting is beautiful but worth noting that the more expensive set menu diners go up stairs and a la carte diners stay downstairs. However it is much better value and the food was delicious. I was a bit wary as it has to be pre ordered but it was cooked to perfection. The other bonus is you keep the table for the interval so I’ll do this every time now.

Egg friend rice, vegetarian Singapore chow mein, tofu in black bean sauce & another tofu with ginger = around £22 and 2 of us couldn’t finish it all, so decent portions. All the food was so good and fresh. The dishes contained fresh chillies which tasted amazing. We sat and ate in the place, while there were around 9 drivers and customers waiting for takeout - this place has good food and people know it. I looked at the reviews and the negative ones seem to be about delivery. I appreciate this place has seating for dining in, which a lot of places don’t offer now so I hope they keep it, however they could do with a renovation and more organization for stock. Doesn’t need to be fancy, just clean, simple and modern. But overall it’s not important compared to finding good Chinese food these days. Will be back soon, thanks.

Collected a take away and was shocked that's it looked the same as 25 years ago. Needs some serious TLC Food was average with so much oil floating on top and once poured away only half a container full.

Friendly staff, very accommodating to your order. Food tastes good. Not too greasy. They also wear hairnets and seems hygienic. Great local pizza place
