Burger bay in Pendle

Everything about this place was brilliant from the amazing staff to the even better food. I went with a friend and got the angus burger and loaded chick fries and both were fantastic. Haven’t even had food like this is in the cities, this place is a real hidden gem and must try for everyone!

Wow! Best food in town I travel twice every week from Rochdale after seen A video of the place online and I absolutely love the burgers and the game changer is the loaded fries. I normally don’t post reviews but this one I had to as it was a must, the food made here is mind blowing. Highly recommended it Staff members are all legends hahaa

Wrong food TWICE! Okay, so I wrote a review recently, because they sent the wrong burger and didn’t call me back. The manager phoned me after my review. He was lovely, very apologetic. He asked me to delete the review and let him know when I next ordered, he would replace the burger. I changed it to a positive review. I just ordered again, but decided not to contact him, because I thought I’d give them the benefit of the doubt with how nice the manager was. I received my order… and it was the wrong burger. Again. Another beef burger when I ordered a chicken burger. I paid 12.99 and Uber will not refund. This time I won’t be swayed unfortunately- people need to know how often this happens and to be careful. For someone with allergies, this could be deadly. The staff are obviously far from careful. For this to happen twice in a row, how often is it happening to other people? Unfortunately I will not order again. Very disappointed.

Been many times to burger bay. Burgers are top quality and the lads can't do enough for you. The smash burgers are amazing and full of flavour. Highly recommended

It has been a while I have had a decent burger, but this place beats it. Great burger, service was brilliant, cannot fault anything. Was passing by, had the choice to go to many places but thought I'd try this. 5 out of 5 for this place. Would definitely recommend this to whoever hasn't been.

Definitely turning into a regular here! Quality of meat is out of this world and always fresh of the press. Classic double angus all day everyday. Everyone needs to try this place. Customer service also on point.

Been here several times. Food is absolutely delicious. So is the cheesecakes!!! The pacha drinks they offer is good too. Personally not a fan of the chicken smash, but EVERYTHING else is just 10000/10 🫠 keep it up MA

Absolutely banging burgers. Ordered a couple of times. Chips could do with some salt and different packaging maybe to keep them warmer as they arrive cold. Have to pop them in the air fryer for a couple of mins, but apart from that it’s all absolutely spot on! Will continue to order from these guys!!

Second time ordering here and all I have to say is simply…wow. The loaded fries is becoming a favourite. Huge potion sizes, even a greedy sod like me struggles to finish!

ordered two different burger meals one being chicken. received two beef burgers not what we ordered. coke wasn't coke it was rio and one of the skin on fries was curly fries. First time ordering and unfortunately won't be again if a simple two burger meal can't be sent correctly

I'm a very fussy eater. Was told to try their loaded chick fries. Wow what can I say from not liking mince to absolutely loving their loaded chick fries The GARLIC SAUCE JUST FINISHES IT OFF Definitely a guaranteed customer. Customer service from the lads is 10/10

I recently tried this amazing Angus smash burger and let me tell you, it was an explosion of flavour! 🍔🤤 The beef patty was cooked to perfection, juicy and tender. The cheese melted beautifully on top, adding a creamy and indulgent element. The pickles provided a nice tangy crunch that balanced out the richness of the beef and cheese. The sesame brioche bun was soft, yet sturdy enough to hold all the deliciousness together. Overall, it was a mouthwatering experience and I would definitely recommend it to any burger lover! Give Burger Bay a try!

I recently tried the Loaded Chick Fries from this fabulous establishment! Order arrived on time, food was lovely and hot! Definitely one for the senses.. smells good, looks good and tastes amazing! Also.. LOVE the garlic sauce!!

10/10 From the moment you arrive you are greeted by lovely chefs. He explained the menu and I was indecisive of what to get but the way I saw the chicken tenders being made, I instantly said i want that!! Trust me it'll make your head turn. Presentation on point. Hot juicy tenders with spicy naga fries. It was out of this world. You've got yourself another customer Burger Bay. Thank you so much. As Terminator once said "I'll be back."

Ordered here the last 3 days. Amazing food, and amazing service. A bit pricey, but worth every penny. Food arrived within 20min both times I’ve ordered. Food was piping hot. No complaint. I’ll be ordering here regularly. Chicken Smash is highly recommended.

Food was amazingly tasty, the sauces and the burgers just fell perfectly together. The garlic sauce was to die for, I’d travel to you just for that dip again. Boyfriend couldn’t inhale his Angus double burger quick enough, tasted like proper homely food and cooked perfectly. Also opt for curly fries as they were so tasty and I love the crunch. Definitely be coming back and recommending to others. Friendliest and nicest lads, even smiling through the rain and wind, lovely little set up

Order was correct and cooked well. The smashed burger and chips meal was absolutely bang on, really good. The chicken tenders weren't very good, they had a batter on which made them taste like onion rings. I would definitely go back and recommend the burger and chips. Hopefully they change the chicken tenders because it let them down slightly.

First and last time ordering. Absolutely disgusting messed up stomach will never be ordering again.

Ordered this after reading reviews and finishing work nearby. I can honestly say I’m gutted I live in bury as this was the best food I’ve had in a long time and will 100% be going here again if I’m working in the area or might even have a drive over it was that good 👍

After being told the place is good I chose to travel down from out of town to visit this place. Upto arrival I thought the person serving had quite a attitude as I was told to pay via cash which I did not have but he told me I can get it from a petrol station near by, I told him I came specificly out out town to eat there and if he could start cooking my order and I go get the cash, he said this is not allowed I said i'll give my wallet as a deposit if its a issue just to show I will be coming back but he said he cannot but was quite abrupt with how he came accri he could have been a bit more proffesional, but fair enough if thats the rules then thats the rules they must have had issues with people placing orders and not coming back. The main issue I had was after placing the order in a rush he offered some drinks he said these are the best with no mention they would cost more he also said hes giving better sauces I thought this would be as a standard thing again no mention of charging extra for these, but long story short is I paid £24 for 2 burger meals but it should have been £16!; he charged me for 2 premium drinks and gave four sauces £1 each... £8 extra total! Also to add to that I bought a meal which he did not give the other can for. After realising I paid too much I asked and he said as I have come from out of town he's giving a better service and offering better products... £8 extra for 2 drinks and sauces, aswell as not giving the drinks in the meal and selling premimum drinks at £2... even though I bought a meal; dont think that is good service, think thats scamming mate... The additional £8 was given back but not a nice service when being treated as a customer in such a way food was good but horrible service and scamming tactics which if I didnt notice I would have been way over charged.

Nice new spot in Nelson with a simple menu. Smash burgers were good, and the loaded fries were nice. Churros had too much chocolate for my liking. They take cash only, but there are some cash machines a minute drive away.

Local, accessible, plenty of parking and the food is delicious, fresh and piping hot making it super nice for when you get home. Amazing joint for our local Bradley area but the lads working there are exceptionally hardworking, polite and extremely friendly.

Terrible customer service, approached the hatch to be greeted by 3 young gents all sat playing on their phones totally ignoring me, said hello to one of them to grab their attention to which he just looked at me then back down to his phone without a single word and his colleague jumped up shortly after and served me without a single manner being used, shame really because the food was very good, but a premium price for a burger to be met with such poor customer service ruins the entire experience to the point where I won’t be returning. 2/5

Since opened I have been going weekly sometimes twice! You can taste the quality of the meat! The staff are also hyped and happy to see you, the customer service is great, especially with the owners, great banter whilst we wait and watch our order being made before our eyes. The meat and toppings on the loaded fries is generous and very filling! I can't wait for the menu to grow and see what they add next, hopefully nachos

Best burger I have had in the UK. The meat mealts in your mouth. Service is really good. Got my order in less then 8 minutes. All drinks are gb which is a must for me. The bay sauce and garlic is really nice. 👍👍👍 My new TO GO PLACE

By far the best burger in the country!!! These guys cook fries to perfection. I'm a massive fan of the bays sauce too. Just when I thought this place couldn't get any better I tried the loaded churros and they're damn right delicious!! Only criticism is that they close too early!! Please open later lads.

While the burger was tasty I feel the workers there are scammers. The meal was supposed to be £8 but yet I ended up paying£13.50. The guys were talking too fast and slipped in 3 sauces that I never asked for and charged me £2 for a drink that was supposed to be included in the meal. Well done scammers, you mugged someone who was new in town. Never coming back to you.

Easily the best chicken burgers around town. They have a delicious, almost homemade taste to them. The double chicken burger is a 10/10 burger and the fries are delicious too. The customer services is exemplary and very good. The pricing is fair and reasonable. First time tried it and very happy. These boys have got it right. Would definitely recommend 10/10

Quality Smash burgers, best chips I’ve ever had, friendly workers, could do with some cheeky outdoor seating and £1 a sauce tub is defo taking piss a bit but it’s worth the trip!

Burger Bay Dethroned Stacked Stacked was known to be the best burger place in town, until Burger Bay came along. The burgers are absolutely delicious, skin on fries and curly fries are very good as well. Deserts are spot on. Customer service is fantastic and the gimmick is excellent. Waiting time is aprox 7 minutes if not less which is brilliant. I would have given this place 5 ⭐️ but the menu isn't big enough. Once they add chicken on their menu then this have a very high chance of being 5 stars. Everything is fantastic except few things which reflect on my rating. Sauces are overpriced, I'm convinced 90% of their profits come from sauces, there's no place to sit and pacha drinks not being part of menu is not so clever (you can get the same drink in Home Bargains for 59p) Overall this is my go to place for smash burgers. Excellent service, all the employers are adult and not dumb kids who would ruin the food. Food is fresh and tasty. 4.5/5
