Fantastic chicken burger, cajun fries (loads), sauces, mac and cheese and buffalo bites. Seriously delicious food and the chef and manager are lovely guys. Chicken Holy Stack was NEXT level.

What a beautiful delight. Lot of veggie options, my wife tried green machine burger n it was amazing. Chicken burger was also amazing. The person who was serving us looked very honest and genuine in what he is doing so 10 points for it. Worth a try.

The staff were friendly and service was quick. I got a beer, original burger and fries. The cheese on the burger was sweet but it went well, would definitely eat here again. Only reason I gave 4 stars on atmosphere is that its very plain. Sit, eat, leave, those were the vibes. Could maybe do with decor or even a small tv on the wall, I don't quite know but something definitely missing. Overall this is again a place I would return to and even recommend to someone in passing. Also well done for the music, vibes are good 🙌🏽

I paid £12 for what looked, smelt and tasted like a frozen fish cake squished in a brioche bun. I normally love Bun Bros burgers but this has completely put me off ordering from there. I took one bite and spat it straight back out. They describe it as a “fish filet patty” however half of it was filled with fish pie sauce. Has really put me off ordering from here again.

Bit of shame writing this review but just wanna give some honest feedback, I've ordered from bunsbros for years and the food has always been amazing but recently it seems as though food quality has gone down and prices have gone up delivery times are a bit inconsistent too as I waited 1hr 17 mins for my delivery (granted it was Saturday evening) but you'd expect better or an apology for delay... I also found about 4 pieces of gristle in my burger which is pretty gross and usually indicates cheap and or poorly butchered meat 🙁 just not what you would expect when paying £10 + for a burger I hope things improve because i used to like this place a lot but my burger last night made me feel a little bit unwell. Shame.

Worst fish burger I’ve tried, was more of an unbattered fish paste. Order was incorrect and got an extra fries instead of the mac and cheese. Rosemary fries were inedible and saltier than the Red Sea. £35 overall, disappointing.

It takes an eternity for them to prepare your order, even though there’s no queue at all. Some have mentioned that they only have one person handling all the orders…

If you are tired of london retail burgers, this is the place for an eye opening enjoy. We had all three most signature burger and fries from here. They are hot chic chicken burger, homerun steak burger and beef chili n cheese fries. The chicken one is beyond succulent and the mayo brought thr flavour further. Steak is juicy and the egg gives it a richer texture. Fries are with mexican style chili sauce and cheese baked. The location is near to the coast which is perfectly convenient for after train ride on the pair or having fun in the amusement park. Though one have to sit outside, the stall food brings its own fun of seeing the sea view. All are perfect in taste and in fair price. For anyone travelling to southend and feeling to have something other than fish n chips, this small burger house is highly recommended.

Price was decent, delivery was on time. Burger was well put together and not over the top and messy. Simple and tasty. Sort of five guys vibe. Fries were the best item, very tasty, nice and crisp. Not sure if there was added salt in the burger too as was very thirsty for rest of the evening but wouldn't stop me ordering again.

Butter milk fried chicken burger is done 100% right. Crispy and moist without being too oily. Worth a standalone trip to Southend.

Was genuinely considering throwing myself off Southend Pier but their peri peri fries brought me back from the edge. Life-saving homemade ketchup. Will be back again!

Customer service and hospitality was amazing

Taste was 2/5 I got the steak burger, the meat was way too hard and quite impossible to eat. There was only 1 person cooking and taking orders therefore we had to wait 45 mins to get our order as he was struggling, although there was no queue it was literally only us there. He had only a few deliveries coming by. The guy was nice though. Wouldn’t come again, too long of a wait and taste wasn’t good, fries where ok.

Driver was terrible, just shoved the food in my face at the door. I hope he gets a talking to also my chips and burger had no taste. Don’t recommend

do not order the Homerun Burger! its genuinely inedible, unless you have fangs. The meat is chewy and overdone, and considering the high price, this was very disappointing since we had to throw it away. The Chicken burger was ok, but i asked if they could put any hot sauce on it, and they charged me £2 extra! They didn't even put the hot sauce ON the burger, I just got a pot of sauce on the side, and considering the burger doesn't come with chips, what do they expect me to do with a pot of sauce? very disappointing meal, since all of it was overpriced, half of it was inedible and the other half was barely mediocre. Also £2 for hot sauce is just a joke

However Don't pay for 3 portions as you'll get the very same amount as when you're taking 2 of them.... 🤷‍♂️ Also, Corona beer is one of the most expensive you can find, charging more than pubs around seafront, nearly £5 for a small bottle so well overpriced, no beer's prices displayed anywhere so not gonna try another ones after these..

Went there with my girlfriend last Saturday, ordered everything off the menu and everything was absolutely perfect , insane food great atmosphere on the seafront and the brothers are good guys , 100% going back ALOT !

Given a raw mince pork patty which could cause worms if eaten. No response to customer emails. Poor food & poor customer service.

Ordered via Deliveroo and the meat in the middle of the pork burger was pink and uncooked. Emailed the restaurant twice to ask if this was safe as I was worried about food poisoning but never received a reply.

My partner and I stumbled across this restaurant by accident and well... we have a new favourite place!! It started with amazing service from everyone there, then the food itself was amazing!! We had the skin on fries, sweet potato fries, mac n cheese, chicken strips and chicken burger (shared between us and the little one)... the portions were generous and everything was just delicious and obviously very freshly prepared!! Will definitely be returning... thank you so much for a lovely meal!!

I went with my girlfriend, we both had the 'hot chic chicken burger'. It was brilliant. The side of chips was nice and the so was the peanut butter milkshake and the fresh apple juice. However, the Mac n cheese was horrible. So in conclusion, just don't order the Mac n cheese and your in for a good time.

My boyfriend had the 'hot chic' chicken burger and loved it! Said it was one of the best burgers he ever had. The chips were nice and th e potion sizes were good. However, I am veggie and had the 'meat "not" eater' and it was a bit diappointing if I am honest. I don't like to leave negative reviws but it was literally just egg in a bun and it all fell out as you ate it and it just wasn't worth the money I paid (also considering that there were other meat options with extra things inside for the same price). Unfortunately, we won't be ordering again until the is a better veggie option.

Although it was a long wait for food because they were so busy (and now I know why) it was soooo worth it. Best burgers and chips around !!!! I hope it stays that way and that’s not just because they are new. If they keep the food as good as it is now they will do so well. Highly recommend! We had Cajun fries and the cheese burger ( doubled up ) with the chicken strips on the side.

Been there twice this week and honestly they probably do the best burgers in Southend. Great new place! I reccomend getting the Hot Chic' Burger and adding a beef patty!

Nice fresh ingredients. Got the Home Run steak burger, only downside is that the steak wasn't seasoned at all and it was fairly bland.

They said this will be the best burger I've had and fair enough it's was delicious, definitely the burger in town! Cheers guys :)
