Bundo bust busss to say the least! As someone new to being plant based I was throughly impressed by the variety of options! It’s a great place to chat with lots of friends with long tables. The drink options were very unique and tasty; my favourite being the cinnamon, ginger, hibiscus rose cider. I ordered the vegan combo for 2 which was very well portioned, could probably share with 3 people. This is my favourite plant based restaurant in Liverpool so far. No gimmicks or alternative meats just good food!

I found the food to be disappointing. Some dishes were cold when they arrived and the puri was soggy. I also found the service to be slow. It was a Monday night and not busy. I've been to other Bundobusts and this is the worst so far.

Bundobust Liverpool is a great spot for something different - Indian street food and craft beer might seem like an unusual mix, but it works! Their craft beer selection pairs surprisingly well with the bold spices. Laid-back vibes, great food, and good drinks - definitely worth a visit!

Amazing food, great service and delicious beers - absolutely loved our visit.

Went in along a Wednesday evening (6ish) Didn't get to stay long sadly, as I had a train to catch. But nice relaxed atmosphere, accomodating staff, and some great food combos (really tasty), also a nice pint that looked more like a litre, so win win! Can definitely recommend. Oh and great clean toilets, always a bonus.

I took my Indian friends from university out for an evening meal, but the food was disappointing. They said it didn’t taste anything like real Indian cuisine, and I found it too salty and tangy as well. The only thing that felt Indian was the décor. Definitely not going back there again! Reasonably priced as it's in the city centre.

Lovely time here it's a nice chilled atmosphere, the food was very filling and tasty even with smaller plates. The paneer curry was good.

Amazing indian street food! Everything was just right and very nicely priced.

Good quality food. Well proportioned spice level. Setting was really pleasant, I like that it's upstairs and over views bold street. Nice overall. My problem was the portions were so small! A bit overpriced for the size, one dish is defo not enough for 1 person.

I'm a big fan of the Leeds branch and decided to try this one while visiting Liverpool. The same amazing food, and the service was attentive but not in your face. It's great to go somewhere with so many fantastic vegan options but you don't need to be vegan to appreciate how good the food is.

First ever visit, what can I say !!!! Service was excellent and the food went far above expections, we didn’t leave a single crumb !!! 2 of us chose 3 separate dishes each so we could swap and share, it was filling and cooked to perfection, will be back for more !!!

BUNDOBUST EXPRESS LUNCH I was lucky enough to get hold of a free lunch ticket ( access by signing up ) to finally try bundobust which has been on my to go list for so long and this was the perfect opportunity to try their new launch and dishes Me and my mum went to the Liverpool branch situated on bold street amongst the quirky shops and array of restaurants you go upstairs and transported to Bombay The restaurant was quiet as the deal is available 12-4 (Tuesday-Friday with first come serve on a Monday ) so we went of a Thursday just after 1pm and I booked as wasn’t sure if it would be busy but not necessary We sat at the window so great view below to people watch then ordered at the bar for drinks and food , Erin was super helpful The lunch express features 2 dishes so we choose the January specials ofc METHI BHUTTA TIKKI Corn and potato croquette spiced with fenugreek and ginger, with a crispy corn flake coating. Served with the green apple, coriander & chilli jam. Limited edition so make sure you get before the end of January, Slightly crunchy coating and similar to a falafel but more exciting with a fruity dip OKRA FRIES a in crisp chickpea batter, dusted with black salt and mango powder. Super unique and I’ve been wanting to try for so long , lived up to the hype and a must if you go BESAN CHEELA For fans of Masala Dosa! Chickpea & lentil-flour crepe filled with a spicy vegetable masala. Served with a tangy & aromatic Rasam soup, Cucumber and carrot raita Another special Basically A curry crepe and all in one with tomato fragrant soup and cooling accompaniment RAGHDA PETHIS North England meets India! Potato cake with spiced mushy peas, sev, tomato, onion, and tamarind chutney. Super fresh and great combination of ingredients , unique and satisfying Everything was full of flavour , authentic and lovely kick from the balance of spices , the different textures complemented each other and I’d highly recommend, all vegetarian but majority vegan dishes , my mum is omni as didn’t miss the meat at all and I loved have free rein over what to choose

I had simply the loveliest of experiences, the best service from the two wonderfully kind girls working today! Truly could never fault the food but it alongside the most fantastic service makes this an absolute gem of a place I couldn’t recommend enough!

Wow what a place I have had the most delicious food here I didn't expect it. This place has stolen my heart now the food was great and service was good and all in all a great place to eat I loved the atmosphere. I really recommend you to eat here in Liverpool it's not something I would have known was there without the local knowledge.

El menú ofrece una amplia selección de carne - comida callejera india gratis, y desde que estábamos de visita en diciembre, había platos festivos de especialidad para probar (como paratha de pastel picado). Cada miembro de nuestro partido eligió de dos a tres elementos para compartir y esto fue más que suficiente para satisfacer. El dhal festivo era cremoso y sabroso, y disfrutamos particularmente del bhel puri, okra crujiente y paneer kadai. Bundobust también tiene una buena gama de cervezas artesanales disponibles, junto con cócteles especiales, lassi y chai. This is our go too when in the city centre. Great food and beers. Service from the Barman was great very friendly. The tall waitress who I think is new was miserable as she basically threw our food at us with little explanation. She needs to be taught the bundobust way.

We’ve been to Liverpool bundobust many times and it has always been excellent food & service. We usually go at lunchtime and get the lunch deal. Last time we were served by Matt who is always really friendly and helpful. Also shout out to Indra and Erin.

We’ve visited Bundobust Liverpool many times, usually at lunch. The food is always delicious, the staff are always friendly (shoutout to Max, Erin and Indra), and the lunchtime deal is brilliant value. Although vegetarian and vegan, my meat eater friends love it too.

Friendly, helpful staff and an amazing selection of food. The food was so varied and tasty, the 3 carnivores I was with didn't even notice it was all veggie. Good selection of beers, cocktails and mocktails too! Highly recommended. We'll definitely be going back.

A great 'canteen' style Indian restaurant with craft beers. Very friendly staff, some of whom were wearing Black Flag inspired 'fried okra' T shirts (a great touch), and a very straightforward menu. We had the vegan set meal for two, and really enjoyed it; easily enough food, and very tasty and satisfying for two non vegans. Good beers too - we'll definitely be back!

First time here... very disappointing bland food, some meals weren't hot, oily poppadoms & the trio of dips were just weird. There are so many good Indian restaurants around, but this wasn't one of them! Won't be back.

First time visiting Bundobust today, wanted to come for ages. It was spot on! We chose the combo for two and got a great selection and plenty of it. We also tried some of the craft beers and I can highly recommend the Celebration ale. Matt and Declan made us feel really welcome and praise to chef Phanni for the delicious food. Don't be afraid to head up the stairs and check this place out!

Pretty good Vegetarian Indian Street food restaurant halfway down Bold Street. It's on the 1st floor, is really spacious and has a very comfortable layout. The staff are really friendly and helpful (not pushy). I didn't realise it was a Vegetarian until I saw the Menu🤦‍♂️ but I 'chanced it' and the food was great 👍 I've been to a few Indian Street Food restaurants, and this restaurant was just as good 🙂 Food was delicious, especially the Gobi Manchurian 😎 They have a great selection of Beers, I was pleasantly surprised at the variety available 👍😎 Well worth a visit

Took me a hot second to acclimate to the decor standing waiting to be seated. Once you are sat down the lighting and casual atmosphere are really relaxing and enjoyable. The staff were friendly and attentive and the food was honestly delicious. I was dining with my Gujarati boyfriend; he was excited by the authenticity of the menu when we were ordering and really enjoyed the "extra spicy" options the kitchen put out for him. The beer selection was good as well. We left with full bellies and big smiles. Will definitely be back for more! Thanks guys x

Staff were super friendly. The food looks amazing but was very much overseasoned so much salt ? Perhaps this can be revisited ? Music was a little upbeat ? Odd and very loud for hearing impaired customers. Though staff were happy to adjust the volume .

So many flavours with varying textures. Didn't miss the meat.

Only grumble was the ordering system needs a rethink. Other than that... exceptional

Easiest 5 stars ever! Friday afternoon, food and drinks in Bundobust Liverpool. Tastebuds are BOUNCING! Superb friendly service- big shout out to Loz behind the bar. Really enthusiastic about the menu- and the food WAS top shelf. If I could eat this everyday, I’d never miss meat….! Highlight of our day by far. Terrific place.

Food arrived 57 minutes after ordering and most of it was cold, very disappointing!

Absolutely love this place! The food is fresh, authentic and so tasty. The staff are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Highly recommend!

Hot food was almost cold. Cooler drink was 80% ice for £5. Waited a long time for our food to come out and I can live with that if it’s worth the wait, which it was not. Left a lot of our dishes and exited almost as hungry as when we’d arrived.

The service is real friendly but the cost of food, portion of it and the taste of it isn’t worth it at all! Lasssi and far far was on point whereas the other dishes were not even 2.0!

Regular customer here and every time I’ve been I’ve been very happy with the food, service and atmosphere. In general I’m a big meat-eater, and the menu here is entirely vegetarian. Don’t be put off by this (if you too like your meat) because it is absolutely delicious

Indian food restaurant in Liverpool. We ate the following dishes: Dal tadka rice and kadai paneer with bhatura, they were very good. The environment is well decorated, airy, fun and colorful, with a vintage Indian vibe. Orders are placed at the bar. The price is fair. All dishes are vegan or vegetarian. Thanks!

We came in for lunch and was really impressed with the food, the place was beautifully decorated and we sat by the window and even got a bit of sun as we ate!

I've just come back from a very disappointing dining experience. After being in town to pick up some bits in town, I thought I'd give bundobust a go. I wish I hadn't bothered. The food took forever to arrive. When it finally did finally arrive it was distinctly average and pretty bland. After reading good things about bundobust I wish I had saved my money and gone pretty much anywhere else. Mowgli is further up bold street and I highly recommend people go there instead of here. Highly disappointed and won't be going back.

They put a great twist to Indian street food. The chole saag and gobi manchurian are really good. Have eaten here many times and would recommend if you're in the area and crave chaat.

Nice spot for Indian street food and craft beer. The place opens up into a vast area with long tables and benches giving a feel of typical canteens in India. There wasn't anything that was actually spicy in my opinion. However, Bhatura / Puri / parathas with chole saag, pav bhaji, okra fries and house chai are among our regular choices. Egg burji had loads of green peas in it which I did not like much.

Excellent on all fronts. Arrived in Liverpool for the first time since pre-pandemic and needed an immediate go-to for food. Hadn't been here before - great choice as it turns out. Very easy to give it 5 stars. Deserved.

Great food and friendly service, as I have come to expect from this chain. I was pleased to learn that the Liverpool restaurant is just as nice as the Manchester one but, for a Saturday afternoon, was decidedly less busy! I always get the vada pav and it never disappoints. The smacked khakri is a more recent and equally tasty favourite.

Bandobust is such a vibrant place. The decor and music adds a fun touch. I tried a few things and they were bursting with flavour. Highly recommended!

I've lost count of how many times I've been to Bundo... used to live in Leeds, have family/friends in Manc, and now live in Liverpool so have had the luck of visiting all Bundos on several occasions. Liverpool is my fave! We came for the indo-mexican menu for the second time, all of it was incredible especially the tacos! The service is always great, the atmosphere is always really lively, the food is always insane and the drinks selection is fab (especially since the brewery opened!) and I recommend Bundo to anyone who will listen. If you've never sampled a Vada Pav then it's the ultimate carb on carb combo, you won't regret it. Thank you!

This was a great place to eat 2nd time I've been here. Ordered Mango lasso dazzler a refreshing drink to wash everything down. Palak kofta. Stuffed full of flavour, Delicious Paneer kadai. Delicious the bhatura that came with it was gorgeous, the mixed pepper and tomato sauce was devine. Okra fries with the sauce trio, amazing my favorite, especially the mango sauce. Rice lovely and light. Dhokla tamales, a promotional dish a mix between Indian and Mexican, a bit of a let down, dough was rather dry. Staff was absolutely about it and offered me somthing else instead. Will defiantly be coming back at some point.

Spoilt for choice with the food menu - so many good options! We ordered 6 dishes to share between two which was a sensible amount. The okra fries and the paratha and thepla were the standouts for us - so good! Can’t not mention the vada pav too - a mashed potato butty! Decent beer and cocktail selection. Nice atmosphere. Can’t wait to come back!

Absolutely brilliant service whilst visiting with my family. The lady serving noticed my daughter’s birthday badge and popped over some birthday treats which made her day! Food was amazing as always.

I could not recommend this place enough. The food is superb, love the pakora and the paneer. This is god tier Indian food.
