When you get off a 10hr flight and are beyond starving, then this place will hit the spot. The Cashier was super helpful in helping us understand the format and food, which is random, biryani to pizza to gyro fries. The briyani was delicious!

We went as a family and sat at the 4 seats available. Kids loved the pizza, I had the Halloumi wrap which was filled with chips and salad , was delicious . My partner had the Game box which was donner meat on chips with chicken strips and salad which he loved. Highly recommend for good priced tasty food served by lovely staff. We will definitely be back .

Great service, especially after I ordered and one of the items were unfortunately unavailable I received a call straight away and was offered an alternative which was great!! We had the peri peri chicken and paneer tikka rice at Bubba, and both were absolutely delicious! The servings were very generous, and the prices were incredibly reasonable. The staff were kind and attentive, and the service was impressively quick. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for amazing desi food in Haymarket.

Dodgy AF. Took an online order at 4pm (and therefore processed my credit card), turned up to discover place was closed. A colossal rigmarole to get a refund ensued. Avoid!

It was probably freshly fried fish, but it was a pity that it was just a few steps away from the hotel and it was still suffocated by the steam🥺

Today i was passing through haymarket i just saw this bubba take away i was in a hurry and want to buy pizza because my train was going within 15 minutes so i went to this take away and order the pizza. They make it very quickly and loaded pizza. I like very much and the staff behavior was also very co-operative. In future when ever i will come to Edinburgh i should definitely vist this take away highly recommended 👌 👍

I was craving some desi food last night and stumbled upon Bubba in Haymarket. I noticed a poster advertising biryani, and being a biryani lover, I just had to give it a try. Believe me when I say, it was one of the best biryanis I’ve had in a long time! The rice was perfectly spiced and flavorful, but the surprise of the night was the peri peri strips they added on top – can you imagine that? Biryani with peri peri strips, an explosion of flavors that exceeded all my expectations! I loved every bite, and the staff were super friendly too. Big thumbs up to the Bubba team, you guys nailed it. Keep up the great work – I’ll definitely be back for more!

Came to the store and bought fried fish twice! The boss always gives me crispy fried fish! It’s much more delicious than the fried fish that Sheffield bought and has been sitting in the cupboard for a long time!

I had such a good experience at this little place! It was my last night traveling in Scotland after 2 weeks and I wanted to get one more fish and chips before I leave, but all the places in town near the Royal Mile are very pricey. This place was located near my hostel so I decided to give it a try. I was greeted promptly by what I assume is the owner. He was extremely kind and welcoming to me and struck up a conversation so easily. I ordered a basic fish and chips and watched him fry it fresh upon order. My total came out to 9.50 pounds and I was paying cash. I asked how much a Fanta was and he said 1.50, but I only had a 10 pound note with me. He said don't worry about it and still gave me a Fanta. I really appreciated the kindness and how quick this place was! I walked back to town and ate my meal with a view of the castle and the portion was HUGE as well! I couldn't even finish all the chips. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised by this shop and will go out of my way to come back next time I'm in Edinburgh!!

I am tourist in this city . Try fish and chips . Where the shop located opposite of Haymarket train station. Service is very good . The fish size enough for anyone . And got drink free . Service , taste and quality number 1 . I highly recommendation this place .

Worst kebab of my life. A German version of kebab which is far from what the Germans do. Dry and hard bread, non-existent garnish, meat level you are served strips of meat with more power. Fries just tasteless and disgusting. They cook without anything to protect their hair, their hands are not even washed between checkout and production. Catering isn’t for everyone, that’s an example. In short, £8.50 wasted. I hope they eat better with my money than I do with their food.

You can grab a nice cup of Desi chai (tea) at this place. The taste of chai is so authentic.

Person I was being served by didnt know in the slightest what they were doing when making my 'bubble tea'. Milk was curdled and my drink was half curdle half water. Can't believe that was £5 just down the drain.

Owner had the best employees who have since left and this used to be my go to chicken spot ,phoned ahead of time for a collection as any restaurant works but the guy on the phone only wanted to start making my order when I arrive which I emphasised I didn’t have time for. He asked me how long I’d be to which I told him 10-15 which he agreed. Arrived at the shop and ALAS he told me to sit and wait for him to start making the order🙌🏼0 efficiency ,order cancelled won’t likely be ordering again.

Uff what a lie from a owner I order at 7 pm and then I call them at 8;15 for asking how long it will take to deliver and they say I just got your order few minutes ago and the estimate time to delivery is 7:50 what a joke I also work in peri peri takeaway in blackpool it’s being 2 years without accepting other customer never got estimate time to delivery. It’s my mistake I order with them never other from them search other peri peri shop if you want to eat Thank you

Best peri peri after long time.

Not being funny right but to start things off it's genuinely bizarre to ask for a 6 piece boneless, then get a 6 piece with bones, simple stuff. Took a few bites into the chicken and thought '£7 down the toilet' it was that bad. I was starving and a bit skint so decided to keep eating, next thing i know half the chicken is bright pink with a weird smell so i binned it immediately. Few hours later i'm at home and notice my stomach is doing backflips and i'm in agony, i tried to just go to sleep and hope that would be the end of it, fast forward a few hours and i've woke up to my bed absolutely covered in sick, felt like jesse from breaking bad in the episode jane died. My room now has a stench of fried chicken sick and i've had to bin my bedding which is upsetting because i quite liked the bedding. PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Bullet peri peri is must go place with your friends and family. They serve mouth watering food with a reasonable price. The staff gives such a positive vibes. We met one of their staff persons named sunny he was so kind and polite.
