Bruccianis is my favourite place to go for a coffee when I'm in Preston. Lovely creamy latte and very reasonably priced too. The most beautiful decor that makes you step back in time with all the original features and fittings. It's like a museum, the bow windows are simply stunning and the staff are efficient and friendly. I would also like to say that whoever has gone to the effort of hand painting the Easter window display, it hasn't gone unnoticed, there was a wonderful display of tulips and rabbits, the writing was done to perfection and must of taken ages, someone has got an artistic talent. There is a fantastic display of handmade cakes, everything about this place is just divine. It's well worth a visit, it's a delightful little gem and cannot be missed 😊

Went today what a disappointment. Staff were nice but. I waited quite a while for a breakfast and was not told there was a wait on the food. Also the portion size wasn't good for the cost of it either. Used to get bigger portions. Won't be going again

We’ve actually been coming to this place for 30 years we’ve always enjoyed breakfast. Admittedly though we’ve not been for the past couple of years due to one thing another. Came here on the first of March I’m for the first time I sat down and said I’ve just spent £30 on this food. I was completely taken aback. The sausages were revolting. They are so small in comparison to how they used and didn’t taste of anything and the eggs were tiny. The bacon was cold because obviously it’s been pre-cooked. Two tiny mushrooms and I don’t understand why our toast was given 10 minutes before our food arrived ? Instead of enjoying breakfast, I simply couldn’t wait to leave. This was not the breakfast that we used to have

It's a lovely place to eat and take your dog

It is a nice atmospheric cafe full of pictures of stars of the past to compliment a Victorian feel to the place. They offer a good range of food but all our party of three had the classic breakfast which turned out to be small and almost cold. There appears to be a good range of Vegan options even on their range of desserts. A nice cafe but overpriced, classic breakfast costing 9.95 and small portions. Great if you are on a diet. Finally there doesn’t seem to be a Diabled access to the bathrooms

Oldest surviving cafe in Preston, with a deco styled interior. Coffee is ok but worth visiting for the malted coffee especially Decent selection of cakes and cooked food served here but it's not the best quality Cafe is under new management and the service is terrible

Beautiful little gem in the centre of Preston. The staff were great, the building is gorgeous, the coffee was lively and the cake was delightful. I had a coffee flavoured cream cake and it was amazing, so decedent and a real treat. A must do, if you are in the neighbourhood.

Always enjoyed the food here whenever I visit and I popped in today for a takeaway coffee.. far more reasonably priced than the bigger chain coffee shops! Tastes nicer too 🤌🏻

The very best café Bistro in Preston. My family and I have eaten here on numerous occasions over the years. The past 12 months has seen a huge difference in the quality / presentation and taste of the food, simple fantastic. Warm and friendly staff are always so helpful. Brucciani's in our opinion is clearly the best day time eating establishment in the area.

This is my favourite place to have breakfast in all of Preston. It was exceptionally good today. I don't know what the chef did to the mushroom, I'm guessing rosemary or thyme, but it tasted amazing. Lots of nice seasoning in the tomato too. I loved it. The place is rustic and usually serene when I go, which I appreciate, I understand if some people might not, or find it a little boring. Though I'll admit, I've never really been during the day. It's a great place for me to have a brew and start my day. Thank you, to all the staff and people working at Bruccianis Preston, I'll always be happy to come back.

Eggs benedict is the best breakfast ever..friendly service with a smile.

It was like stepping back in time only the loud poor choice of music spoilt it. Mulled wine on offer which is amazing.

A good big breakfast and assam tea, they accidentally left tomato on the breakfast, when asked to take it off.

Great place to visit. Extremely competitive prices. Friendly helpful staff, clean, great selection of both non alcoholic and alcoholic drinks. Not cramped at all and reminds me a little of a cross between a victoryian tea room and an American 1950s cafe with a lot of chrome. Either way, really nice. Many thanks. ☆☆☆☆☆

All about the atmosphere ~ like stepping back in time.

Went this morning the staff are great service spot on but the breakfast I don't no what has happened its changed for the worst used to get a propper english fry up the eggs were dry I asked for mushrooms and got 1 when I used to get many and it was absolutely disgusting. Dry no flavour and literally nothing on the plate compared to what it used to be used to be I paid 27pounds for myself and my mother and now completely at a loss. I let the gentleman no about the breakfast he apologised. Such a shame as we have been coming here for years with family never again will be going else where from now on as well as all our friends and family.

Lovely old school vibes to this place, nice to sit outside in the summer and very cosy in the winter. Drinks are very reasonable and the cake is really good, try it!

Got told when ordering drink I could order gluten free sandwiches at till got to the till with drink only to be told we have no gluten free sandwiches we only have jacket potato if I had been told at getting a drink point I would have gone somewhere else.

The food here is really great and all the staff are friendly. I’ve never seen such an amazing selection of cakes. I had breakfast here which was delicious and my coffee was perfect! Definitely recommend!

Don’t eat here. My food was awful. Eggs were overcooked (even burnt)the coffee is bitter. They couldn’t even be bothered to ‘smash’ my avocado. Would not recommend.

The interior of the building is beautiful but the coffee isn't as nice as Gregg's nextdoor and costs almost double and the queue to get coffee and pay takes about 20 minutes Very busy

Very nice breakfast has been a few times, but I can't fault the place one of the best breakfast. Just one thing could do with the breakfast place a little bit bigger when having a large breakfast 🤔 😉

The interior is all old dark wood, really cool. outside, with the type of food served, you could be in a Mediterranean cafe, apart from the view ( the obligatory city centre Vodafone shop and pound bakery 😅😅) I had the chicken, bacon and avocado salad...quite delicious.

Very disappointed with my burnt tea cake oozing with butter & too hot to eat. Nearly walked out when I was waiting to be served, 3 people behind the desk laughing & joking, no eye contact with me. I used to love frequenting this place, will now be looking for an alternative coffee stop, there’s plenty others to choose from.

Authentic Brucciani's. Nice coffee (americano). Didn't eat this time but have had a breakfast here before and it was very good. Friendly staff make this place, one of the best cafes in Preston.

Very dirty and sticky lots of staff stood around doing nothing, food looks ok

If you want a cafe with atmosphere this is it. It is ateip back in time as soon as you walk through the door. In recent months have noticed a turn around as it was looking a little tired and cluttered. Another simple fix would be to change the bulbs in the chandelier to a warm bulb instead of a sharp white/blue light. Go visit and you won't be disappointed.

My go to coffee stop when in Preston. It can get a bit noisy around brunch but that's part of the hustle and bustle atmosphere in this café that has a distinct bygone feel. Get in there early and it's a little more quiet. I can recommend the malted coffee ☕️ and the cakes 🍰 - but not for your waisteline. 😂 Most days the service is very good, other days it is like you're almost ignored. However, it's more hit than miss but I am an infrequent visitor. Some staff need to focus more on the customer rather than having a chat or checking their phone! 📱 Your food can go cold whilst waiting for someone to realise you're waiting to pay and work the till! Happened to me 3 times! 👎️ The people working the till had to be told to pay attention on all 3 occasions.

Lunch date with friends. Awful food - Greek salad swimming in dressing and had mushroom in it! Menu states all salads come with bread and slaw, mine didn’t and when I enquired was told it’s £1 extra. After complaining was given two half slices of dubious looking brown bread. I asked for Red tea as promoted and the server placed it right up to her nose to smell it as she didn’t know what it was like!! And then used it for me!

Poor food hygiene. Came here for lunch with my partner, I got a jacket potato with cheese and beans and he got a chicken panini. They were quite nice to be fair. We then got a hot chocolate and a slice of biscoff cheesecake. Both were awful. The customer in front of me had ordered a hot chocolate and the server made that, then used the scraps of what was left in the jug to pour into my cup and topped it up with milk. This meant that my hot chocolate was pretty much pure milk. Then for the biscoff cheesecake, she grabbed a knife from a metal pot that had liquid in the bottom (the knife was dripping in liquid) and used that to cut the cheesecake. It turned out it was covered in tea, as that coated one side of my cheesecake, and she said to her coworker ‘at least it’s not coffee’. I was quite disgusted by the food practice here to be honest.

The big independent cafe in Preston city center. The main hall is charming and heritage. Half self-service (You order in query take drink and staff delivery food to your disc), price is reasonable and very clear. Provide wide range of food selections and all food fresh, although the cappuccino taste can be improve but still much better that Costo.

I tried Beef Li sandwich and Americano ☕️. My mind is still stuck on desserts that I haven't tried yet. We tried their ice cream with my daughter. 4 scoops of strawberry, chocolate and vanilla ice cream cost 10 pounds. We loved so much. The employees were very friendly and helpful.

Pleasant and efficient service in remarkable surroundings. A very well cooked full English breakfast made with good quality ingredients, at a reasonable price. My 'go to' place in Preston for breakfast.

Used to come here as a youngster. It seemed magical. Today however not so much, food was dry and burnt safly

Went in for some coffee and dessert. The ladies behind the bar were absolutely amazing. They were very friendly, chatty and welcoming. I got a cherry pie and latte and both were amazing. Would definitely go back here again

Classic interior, lovely staff and a place you wouldn't usually find on the high street.

Had a chicken and stuffing bun came with the most delicious side salad and slaw l ordered chips as well not needed when l saw the size of the bun and salad thank you it was a lovely lunch

Only popped in for a coffee as it looked so nice from the outside. Two flat whites in awful plain white canteen style cups, no attempt to make the coffee look nice on top, should have a double shot of coffee, doubt there was half of one. Service wasn’t great, I expected more for £6.50. Toilets weren’t a great experience either which was unexpected for a place that looked stylish from the outside. I’m afraid I won’t go again & wouldn’t recommend.

Paid £6.50 for 2 flat whites. Got works canteen cups and saucers and 2 cups of milk with what seemed like a 1/4 teaspoon of Mellow Birds. Considering the appearance of the outside and its obvious prior history I was shocked tbh. Be forewarned if you are looking for coffee that you’d expect to be of a high standard anywhere else these days.

Solid café with pastries, exceptional interior with marble and carved wood everywhere, black and white photos adorning the walls. Too short on time to order anything other than a latte, will repeat later on, as the food menu looked pretty good.

Had breakfast in preston, Sunday morning. Very impressed. The restaurant was perfect for us. The staff, cheerful and smiling. The food Very good and we think ,value for money. We were also impressed with the , well behaved dogs policy. Well fed and ready to go back home to Ireland. Definitely be back next visit.

1st visit in over 12 years… Lovely atmosphere as I have childhood memories here… Very Quick service…Unfortunately the standard of food was poor… Full English ( husband) was just ok … The only thing fresh was the egg… All the rest was warmed up more than once . My sandwich BLT looked like it had been made by a child !!! And was completely tasteless and accompanied by a useless tomato salad with coleslaw….Already tomato on the BLT Already mayo on the BLT ? not impressed I'm afraid won’t be returning… Shame

Underwhelming food at a high price. It was okay, edible. But the cakes we got were stale, the jacket potatoes were tasteless, the salad had way too much vinegarette. Not worth over 40 pounds for 3 small lunches

Antiquated serving system so very slow service. Egg and sausage roll, side of fries and small tea cost £12. Ridiculous!

I have been a regular visitor to this cafe since it was taken over last year. Just been today and waited 45 mins for a toasted teacake and had to ask where it was as several people had got their food who came in after me. It came up 20 seconds later with congealed butter on top and fairly cold. I sent it back and 10 secs later it came back up in the same condition. She assured me it had just come off the grill. Didnt trust that statement as the butter was just as congealed on the top. Walked out and wont be going back. I dont have a lot of money to spend so will not be wasting anymore at Bruccianis Preston.

Charming looking place, cosy little cafe with a classy looking interior. Went for the full English, It came a little late, (due to problems with the order, which isn't usual, there was a power cut on this occasion) but they compensated me with a drink of my choice. The vanilla latte, which was one of the best I've had in the taste department. Breakfast and latte was delivered to me personally by the chef to apologise on the lateness of the breakfast. Food was piping hot. I'm a little fussy when it comes to full English, but they met my expectations, high quality produce in the meat department 🥓. Egg was perfectly runny and not snotty nor hard. Nice range of condiments (sauces) The cleanliness level was also high and the toilets were well maintained also. Looked over to my right and saw a portion of sweet potato fries, prawn cocktail and poached eggs later delivered to a gentleman. Looked delightful. I can confidently reccomend this place. The quality of the coffee here is better than the average high street Costa or Nero. And the quality in this day and age with the prices of things, is cheap for the price I paid.

Nice food, good friendly service

Brunch for 5 people and a small dog at the locally renowned Brucciani's. A dog sausage welcome when we came in 😉🐶 As always a queue at the counter, but it wasn't too busy (we arrived just before noon). Good atmosphere and pleasant helpful staff. Food good and portions a good size. Bacon cut almost as thick as gammon, generous portions of smoked salmon. See pictures for more. If you are from out of town then you should go - if only for an espresso and a slice of biscotti cheesecake - because it's one of Preston's oldest cafe's and a local attraction.

If you want quaint surroundings with your chosen drink and a good selection of cakes, then this is the place for you. Not cheap (£15 for 2 large coffees and 2 cakes) but probably the most pleasant place in Preston city centre to sit and chill for a bit.

After going in with a friend for some lunch sadly there wasn't a warm atmosphere from most of the staff, mainly those behind the counter. Food was mediocre in comparison to to the price. When asked if there could be adjustments to the food (ie things to be removed) these were ignored. And when trying to order staff were chatting amongst themselves mid order. I'd heard great things about this place so I was quite disappointed

Alright first visit today when I visited Preston. Warm place from the moment you step in, starting from the fire in the chimney to the welcoming staff. Enjoyable food and large portions. Very reasonable price for what you get. Hard working and professional staff, I liked the way they were smiling while working. None of them was standing there doing nothing. The waffle was cold and hard didn't warm up properly but doesn't matter, didn't go there for that. I've no clue what people are talking about in the other reviews complaining about the prices but may be they don't go shopping to notice that the prices are gone up. Anyway, today I was happy with my food and with the service so definitely be back and recommend it if you're not fussy

We have eaten he lots of times and loved it, we haven't been for a long time and was shocked at the price of our lunch 2 new york bagels two coffee which arrived in a tea cup = £26.20. There were only a couple of people in there , it normally very busy.xx

Unfortunately the table hadn't been wiped over and it was a very quiet time when we called with less than 10 customers. However with a beautiful Christmas tree a roaring fire and Christmas songs playing in the background there really was nothing not to like 😊

Every menu in the café was absolutely filthy Picked one up, put it back, then noticed the rest were just the same smothered in Greece and dirt. Told the lady behind the counter and she just wasn’t interested

Fabulous cafe, like taking a step back in time... would highly recommend. Great service and a mug of tea and a hot buttered teacake just the thing to start the day and only a 5min walk from Preston train station.

It was always a family favourite when I was growing up so It was really nice to see it busy again. The service was quick and the food was amazing. The staff are super friendly and all smiles. Next time I think we will have to sample the wine collection. All the very best to the new owners, it's a cracking place.

Went in today for lunch, and it's come on so much since the new owners took over. It was very busy but we still had amazing service and food arrive quickly and piping hot. I honestly could not fault a thing about it!! Will definitely be visiting again soon!!!

Have been several times as we like the decor but today there was a very long wait and when our food arrived it was stone cold so had to be reheated. This took at least another 10 minutes and several reminders. Very disappointed.

10+ years ago I would buy a hot chocolate and toast from here every morning when I worked in the city centre. I very rarely go into the centre anymore as I have little need too and Preston city centre is full of the walking dead but I had too yesterday so thought I would treat myself to a cappuccino and full English here. The inside of the cafe is very cool and the decor is like something from the 1930’s. No complaints on the service as it was pleasant and the food came within 10 minutes of ordering. Sadly this is where my praise ends as the food and cappuccino was poor. The bacon really fatty, sausages low quality, the toast was cold and strangely squashed flat and the scrambled egg had no taste with a texture like it had been microwaved. I think this because I can’t cook for toffee but when I do make scrambled egg…I microwave it. Shame really as if the food was decent, then it would have been worth risking your life visiting regularly despite all the scum bag, low life’s littered around Fishergate.
