Brothers Bar and Grill in Doncaster

Booked a table for my sons birthday yesterday . When we got there it was closed . Tried calling but just rang put . Disgrace. Could have let us know so we could have re arranged somewhere else. No excuses at all!!!!

Had a similar experience to the last poster. Really bad food and dirty cutlery. Asked to speak to manager and a person Thomas Joseph showed up. Instead of apologising for the unclean cutlery, he was rude. What is the point of opening a restaurant if you can’t take genuine feedback from customer and maintain basic hygiene standards.

Terrible service and food. Complained to one of the owners, (I believe he was called Thomas Joseph) who was extremely rude. Have subsequently heard from other people that he has behaved in a similar way to other customers and had a building company which has now gone bust after having swindled a lot of people out of their money. Avoid this bar at all cost. Seems to be run by a gang of thieves

Very nice food, polite staff, the food was cooked very quickly and very nice looking place would recommend to anyone.

Visited as a party of 5 for a birthday treat,chose the restaurant having come across it by chance whilst visiting a nearby restaurant in January. We pre booked after having popped in to look at the menu previously. We received a friendly welcome and were impressed with the decor andfurniture. A very modern bar area with comfy chairs with the cosy eating area upstairs. Ashley the chef came to check we were ok understanding the menu as it's quite a different concept. The starters can be individual portions or sharers,we had southern fried scotch eggs...amazing! 3 of us shared a chicken crown platter..an enormous board with all the sunday dinner trimmings...veg,roasties,pigs in blankets and a massive tear and share garlic Yorkshire pud. The centrepiece is a fondue pot filled with a sauce of your choice to dip away to your hearts content..food heaven! Brothers burgers were ordered by the other two..cooked as you like them and served with all the usual trimmings. To be honest we didnt really have room for a dessert but just had to have the fondue sharer between us all..warm milk chocolate with fruit,marshmallows,brownies,cookies. The drinks were average prices for the location although on our visit there was no draught lager available. This is a true gem of a restaurant doing it's best to get off the ground so we are happy to spread the word for these hardworking guys providing an excellent experience and amazing food. ( we have already booked for our next family birthday as cant wait to try another sharer!)

What a fabulous meal we all had. Very much looking forward to the next time.....I’m going to try the breakfasts I’ve heard about or sharing board.

Absolutely amazing food, lovely staff especially the chef who was extremely friendly and came out to ask us if we had enjoyed our food which was really nice - clearly takes pride in his work. We had the pancake sharer board which was so nice! Beautiful place. We will definitely be returning for brunch again and will also be going to try the evening menu and cocktails!

We have eaten here several times now and each time the food and service has been amazing. The sharing boards are to die for and would definitely recommend the fish and chips!

Lovely restaurant. We visit most weeks with our kids and always get a friendly reception. Ashley the chef is great and always accommodates any changes or options we may need for our autistic son, nothing is too much trouble. Love the new fondue sharers too!

Must confess did not know about this place and found it by accident, however I'm glad I did! I had their make up your own breakfast and it was very nice, the staff are great, not sure what it's like in the evening but judging by my experience and the other reviews it will be great And the black pudding was cooked properly!!

Came in for brunch to try the pancake sharer.Absolutely amazing, very well priced and loads to share. Staff are very attentive and friendly. Would definitely recommend and will be back

Visited on a Saturday evening as a group of six. We'd booked a table, but sat in the comfortable bar area having several drinks before going to our table, enjoying the relaxed atmosphere. Ordered sharing platters which were delicious and there was plenty of food. Staff were really helpful and extremely accommodating. Prices for drinks and food were really reasonable. In all, it was a really good night. Would definitely reccomend.

We came & shared a steak fondue which was amazing. Steaks were cooked to perfection. The gravy as a dipper was lush & the Malbec is lovely & smooth. I don’t normally take pictures of my food but couldn’t not for this! We came here early (17:30) on a Saturday, I’d recommend booking as although not busy they had bookings for later on. If you’re coming as a pair & thinking of having a sharer ask for a bigger table when we book, you’ll need it! We’ll be back for the pancakes & the cheesecake sharer!

Ordered three of the share boards for our table and they were all delicious! Loved the fondue sauce especially, would definitely come back again! The staff were also super friendly and knew their stuff

Gorgeous food, amazing cocktails and excellent service! We had the Sunday lunch and the husband had the steak, all cooked to perfection. I would highly recommend the white chocolate martini too, will definitely be back ❤️
