Got a takeaway from Bricky's a couple of nights ago. Very disappointed. The food was barely lukewarm. My husband was very underwhelmed by his burger. The chips were soggy. My chicken wrap which was meant to contain avocado, didn't. Huge wrap but not much chicken. The main flavour was of mayonnaise. More disappointingly, I contacted the restauarant to complain but have heard nothing from them - not even an acknowledgement. We've enjoyed the food from here in the past but won't be going again.

Been to Brickys many times and never let down. Big food portions, perfectly cooked and very tasty, buzzy atmosphere, quick polite service and lovely staff. Particularly recommend the chicken burger and salt beef, my 2 main go-to's! Cannot fault!

I visited Bricky's with my wife for a take away dinner. My wife ordered a Beef Burger (£13.50) with Fried Onions (£2.00) and Vegan Cheese (£2.00). I can understand charging extra for Vegan Cheese but to charge a customer an extra £2.00 for some fried onions is a total rip off. Although the price was ridiculous she said the burger was very tasty. I ordered a Salt Beef Sandwich Sandwich on Rye with pickles and mustard (£14.00). The salt beef was so dry that I struggled to chew and swallow it and the middle parts of the meat were brown like normal roast beef and not pickled right through the meat. I also ordered one Potato Latke (£4.50). Other establishments in the local area are selling the same item at around £2.50 and much lighter and tastier. I called the owner to discuss my concerns/experience and was advised that they were unable to get their salt beef from their regular supplier and were being supplied by an alternative one. What I cannot comprehend having been in the food, retail, restaurant, deli, contract catering business myself for 40 years is why when an establishment uses an alternative supplier the quality, taste and visual appearance of the food is not checked and/or tasted to ensure it meets the correct standard. I would rather take that item off my menu than serve inferior quality food to my customers. Although the owner understood my concerns he failed to do the right thing by offering me, the customer some sort of compensation such as a free or a discounted meal. I just felt that there was an underlying lack of passion or concern. With regard to the prices, I was completely shocked how high they were. I called a number of other establishments to check the price of a similar Salt Beef sandwich which ranged from £8.00 to £11.00 for a supervised kosher. Bricky's is definitely overpriced at £14.00. Based on my experience and treatment by the owner I won't be returning

Things we loved: 1) The warm and friendly welcome and service 2) Picking our own table 3) The spotlessly spotless spotlessness of EVERYTHING (including the toilets) - I don't think I've ever seen such gleaming glassware! 4) The generous portions 5) The utter deliciousness of everything we ate Things we didn't like 1) Never having been here before 2) The fact that we, like all the other lemmings, get in our car and head towards Hendon and Golders Green without thinking about the kosher options in Borehamwood... Thank you, Bricky's, for a terrific experience :)

We like Bricky's. It's well priced, the food is fresh and tasty and it is a nice enough place to sit and enjoy a meal (though lately we've been cheating an getting takeaways too). In that sense I think it's the best 'meaty' restaurant in Borehamwood. I love the fact that we now don't have to go to Hendon or Edgware to get a decent meat meal unless we choose to. The menu is pretty simple (this is Israeli street food after all) but there's something for everyone - even our veggie daughter.

Wanted a hearty pre Wembley lunch as we travelled down for the Carabao Cup Final. Came here 6 years to the day since beating Southampton at the same stage in 2017 when it was under different management! The owner and staff were very friendly. The soup was lovely and hot. The burgers were tasty and filling. And as we discovered on the long victorious drive home, the salt beef sandwiches were amazing.

you get a friendly service, and decent food, at the same time. It's rarer than you think. Brickys is a family run resturant. Its clear to see. Its simple folks. Brickys wouldn't have survived the pandemic if the food nor service didn't live up to the high standards and demands of the London kosher resturant scene. Its tasty and portion sizes are excellent. I had one time where my burger was a bit pinker than I'd have liked, so like anywhere, if you have an issue, you ask, and they cooked up a fresh one in minutes and there was no issue at all. This is a service industry, so my thoughts have always been; act like a human and speak to people if you have an issue. I saw a clearly irate review written by a keyboard warrior using some 'connection' to an authority figure in the trade, and looking to put a decent establishment down. (Similar negative reviews elsewhere). Some folks are just never happy. The Brickys experience made me very happy indeed and my kids loved it.

Fresh tasty food! Huge menu to choose from with a personal favourite being chicken poppers and pulled beef! Food doesn't have any of that prepared feeling and is always fresh to order!

I took my family to Bricky’s for the first time, and I know we’ll be regulars now!! Aron and his staff were amazing and took such good care of us. Don’t get me started on the food… chicken poppers and salt beef are to DIE for!! (I mean, all the menu is fantastic). If you’re in Borehamwood and need a place to eat, Bricky’s is the one!! Thank you so much for the most wonderful food and experience.

Completely obsessed. I come here all the time. The food is amazing and the staff are so warm and welcoming. I love the new menus and the portion sizes are huge! We've booked to have our work party here in December and my husband and I actually hired the restaurant for our engagement party recently. Thank you to the owner Aron and the whole team for making us all feel so welcome. And fed! Highly recommend. 👌🏼👏🏼

Aron and his staff are waiting to welcome you to this restaurant (strictly kosher) which specialises in items like falafel and hummus and burgers. So instead of eating in the street you sit at a table like a mensch! Being a kosher meat restaurant there are no dairy products in the place so you need to have your teas and coffees black or with soya milk. My hummus, falafel and laffa (large pitta) were fresh and tasty.

I have never ever experienced such a meal at an eatery cause it cannot be called a restaurant, we arrived waited 3/4 an hour for food to arrive when it did it was completely inedible, my two grandsons were with us and were ravinous and the guy who was in charge was only interested in getting take away orders out - the food eventually arrived which was the most dreadful food you could imagine, my husband ordered a salt beef sandwich which didn’t turn up and when we asked where it was the excuse for that was the waitress didn’t speak English correctly so didn’t understand our order - although told us at the time it was the most popular item on the menu I have since spoken to a kashrut director I know very well who is fully aware of what is going on at this establishment and suggests the owner perhaps spends more time on site to check what is going on with his staff and service I wound very much like to hear from him and have an apology for how we were treated as customers

Chicken balls in soup tasted like sandpaper+ burger was pink inside under grilled. Very poor complementary coleslaw served in mini dish but was unappetisingly pink in colour. More bun than burger. Mustard pot didn’t work! Owner was friendly enough but service was poor and slow. Menus were dirty (well thumbed) and complicated with waiter advising certain dishes off as they were changing etc. Water tasted weird and nobody asked if we wanted soft drinks, beer etc. Altogether a very poor and expensive so called dining experience and we shall not return.

Half of the items ordered were missing, and the rest of the food that finally arrived was stone cold! Very, very, very disappointed!! Tried to call the place several times but no answer! No help from JustEat either!
