BREAK THE FAST LONDON in Southwark

Honestly the best brunch i’ve had in south london in a while. We got the works which cost us £15 each which came with the most delicious french toast and fresh cream. It was honestly divine, paired with the rest of the food it came together perfectly. We live in kent so it is now our staple spot whenever we spend the weekend in london. Service was very efficient and the workers were so kind and helpful. The only disappointment was that i don’t believe the staff receive the service charge which is not right to me personally as i believe they are very deserving of that extra thank you. This place is always busy and the staff always keep on top of the rushes!

Upon arrival the restaurant was busy and we had to wait whilst a table was cleared away. You can instantly see that this is a popular restaurant. Once we were seated the menu options are very good and I decided on the Ackee and Saltfish. This did not disappoint, it was absolutely delicious. The portion was just right and I demolished everything on my plate. However, there was no room for dessert and I will have to go back to try the desserts as the looked absolutely delicious.

There was long queue as always, but it is always worth the wait. We were a table of two so we were seated within 15mins. I ordered the ackee and saltfish breakfast with an extra sausage. Within 20minutes the food was served and every item was hot. 10/10 service, friendly staff and delicious food.

We hired Break The Fast London today, Weds March 6th for a Corporate event, and everyone gave amazing feedback, saying how delicious the food was. We will definitely be hiring again for our events. Thank you so much for making my day easier!

had to try this place. Really missed infusions when it closed. Had the Full Works . Enjoyed it all , The fresh fruit was a welcome addition . left feeling full and will be going back again

Got there at 10am and glad we did as it got very busy very quickly Ordered hot chocolate but they didnt have any . They actually went to the shop and got some which was really appreciated Had the full works . All good except the pancakes . They were crumbly , that’s the only way I would describe them . Not nice at all I would go back and have something else The service was really good and we didnt have to wait too long g for our food

Food is amazing however, I am convinced I was given a pork sausage when I asked for chicken ( if they don’t do chicken then either way I didn’t want pork so everything should have been stated. Other than this their pancakes are the best and the the size of the breakfast is perfect for the price. The wait time I believe is only so long because of the amount of people that sit down talking instead of getting up and leaving when they’re done. I waited for 40/45 minutes to be seated and when I was we managed to order, eat and leave and the people beside us were still there which they had finished before our food got to the table so I believe they need a time slot for each table so the waiting time is not so ridiculous. Overall the food makes up for the service time. Thank god pork is a personal preference and not an allergy or religious preference.

The service, the vibe and the food! Incredible. The ackee and saltfish has my heart - I will be making this a monthly visit.
