Braza London in Havering

We dined as a 3pax and we were under the impression that we could dine for 17.99 each all you can eat. We were charged 27.99 per person. No where advertised on the boards at the venue or online did it state the menus prices

Avoid this place. I hadn’t realised untill this morning that they lied about the price. Granted I should’ve checked but they told you £26, I actually paid £34.44! This is a ridiculous amount for the food they served. They will take advantage of people and try to skive more money out of you. Two of my dishes had long hairs in, no body should have to try and get hair out of their mouth in a restaurant, it’s disgusting.

Dishonest pricing. Charged £137 barbecue buffet plus one drink each for the four of us. Shouldn't have even been £100 according to menu prices. Never again

Avoid at all costs. Braza is not halal. The branch in Romford say they are halal however, yesterdays experience was poor. Went to break my fast and pre-booked a table as they explained they serve halal food upon arrival I asked a question if the meat is cut with seperate knifes from the pork ,they said they use the same knife cut across all other meats. When I asked if they could use an alternative knife the response was that they only have one knife out of the whole restaurant, this seemed very odd. I didn't eat at this place and saud the food may be purchased as Halal but it is not the same if you are contaminating it with pork. I asked to speak to the manager who wasn't around but will giving him my feedback. Update: called the restaurant this morning to speak with the manager,the same waitress whom I spoke to yesterday said she was the manager (recognized her voice), I asked for her name, she refused. She was adamant not to give me her name, I said I am conducting an investigation she quickly passed the phone to a male waiter who than made it out like he couldn't hear me and disconnected the call. Now sent an email the next steps will be trading standards.

The meat was poor quality and the price was higher than advertised. The service was okay. I didn't try much of the buffet options so can't comment on that..It was underwhelming. There was no chilli sauce which I found bizarre. Leaving review because you are better off going somewhere else. The chicken and lamb was good. so I gave it 2 star.

Absolutely amazing - have been here before just the two of us, the selection of veg/salad/meals on the buffet is amazing and not to mention the meats and sausages and joints they bring round- the meat is so succulent - all I can say is come hungry……the service is top notch, they all want to look after you. Fantastic time!

Absolutely fantastic place to eat. I went there today with a friend and the food made me so happy and the service was A+. The service was exceptional and the food spoke for itself. it was flawless! My only criticism is I dot like it when establishments impose a service charge. Ultimately the staff are being paid to do their job and the brining the meat to the table is their USP so its their job. I found a £4 S/C is a bit steep and I would have liked to pay what I can afford and what I feel is reasonable hence the 4 stars. Other than that I and my companion have no complaints or negatives! My new favourite restaurant by a far and we are normally picky. Not this place it is exceptional!

Absolutely fabulous as always! Delicious food, very quick service and everyone is always quick to help (with getting drinks etc) Went on valentines day, we had booked ahead so was only waiting in the queue for around 5 mins (we arrived 15mins early just incase) Price was £2 more than usual but that was totally fine because it was a busier night so expected! No delays with anything even though it was fully booked. Food was delicious, if anything because it was busy it meant the meat was coming round more often and being cooked fresher due to the constant demand Cold 'salad bar' is always gorgeous - rice, potatoes, lasagne and carbonara are to die for! (Yes in the SALAD BAR!!) Always come here for a special occasion and will continue to do so. Didn't take any pictures because I was having such a good time (was date night after all haha)

Visited venue on numerous occasions and normally very nice,yet Visited valentines prices were pushed up stating valentines special yet nothing was changed and was same as if you Visited a normal day , meat superb as normal but entries were cold and dry pretty much awlful and paid 22 for bottle rose wine that wasn't even on print on menu taste of cheap French wine

This place scammed us. They stated per person it will cost £20 yet when it came to the bill it was £30 per person to eat in their sad little restaurant. On top of that, we were charged extra for our drinks (2 x £3.50 drinks, charged £10). I honestly will never go here again and would not recommend it. The food options were so limited and for that kind of price per person, free drink should most definitely be included. Cosmo just around the corner has better food, more options, free drinks and is cheaper. I would NOT RECOMMEND this place to anyone and will be warning friends in the area of my experience here. No only were the prices ridiculous and altered for us, my son has diabetes and ordered a diet pepsi drink, but the drink was in no way diet because his glucose levels spiked just after he started his meal ?? You all clearly do not care enough about your customers and are not fit to run a business.

At first, I was a little anxious as to what to expect as I'd never been to a Brazilian restaurant so I wasn't sure what to anticipate in terms of food served as all I knew it was meat. The price per person is reasonable ... reason being? You won't question it after the amount and quality of meats you get once you're inside. Steak, Pork, Gammon etc. is just cooked to perfection and the flavours just get your taste buds dancing in all honesty. Nice little system they've got in terms of place mats which are green one side to say "YES" to more meat when they come round and other side say "NO" to say you're OK for the time being. It was that nice, I didn't want to stop but had to at some point. In all truth, Turkish is my top go to for meats with flavour but this topped the charts for me!

We were so thankful to have come across this gem with so many other places to choose from in Romford. The service was fantastic from the moment we walked in the restaurant until after we left. Attentive and friendly servers made sure we left with bursting bellies. We would recommend the lamb the most! It kept coming back too, despite clearly being a better cut of meat. The help yourself buffet was also very tasty! Thank you for making our lunch a special experience.

Overpriced with false advertising outside £17 inside £27 all the cheaper cuts of meat circulating regularly with the better cuts slowing down the better they were. They charge for children by height I thought that was only a thing at amusement parks. In total a totally disappointing meal made even worse by overcharging and nowhere near value for money.

What a hidden gem! We went for lunch here today (Sunday 13th) as a party of 6 (4 adults and 2 children aged 9 & 13). We were greeted by friendly and welcoming staff and our drinks order was taken and delivered promptly. Food was AMAZING - lots of choice of meats and all so succulent and tasty! Something for everyone - even the kids loved it! Lamb, pork, steak, chicken all delicious! Puddings we’re also excellent - a selection of cakes and the most delicious ice creams! It is a bit on the pricey side but worth it for a special treat! We’ll definitely go there again!

Absolutely disgusting service!!! I went during the day to book a table for a birthday meal for 4. I took decorations and balloons the day before the meal to ask them to set up the table for us. I as told "You can't leave the decorations here cause we'll probably lose them"...WTF?! I was told to come back the next day and give the decorations. So I went back with the decorations and was told they probably wont have time to set up the table and they can't promise anything!!! Disrespectful and plain bad service. The manager ERMA was in charge. All of the staff were unfriendly tbh. Do not waste your time of money in this place!!!

Definitely not for vegetarians, and the menu is a little wasted on small children, but for meat lovers, it's the best you can get hands down!

Our wedding anniversary we decided to have carvery from Braza. We have been there few times already. We ordered btl of white wine which, very warm. I asked for some extra ice. As always bit of food from buffet the waiting for meat to arrive. I am meat eater and I like to eat. 30 min into my wife said that she is feeling so uncomfortable as the female manager is,always looking at us. I said just leave it. 45 min of been seated, waiter arrived to our table and suggested that we have had enough, " are you done boss"? The card for 3 of us was still green. I said not I still have time." Then he suggested to help ourselves from the buffet then. For another 15 min none of the waiter with grilled came to our table to offer us more meat! I managed to call one of them with lamb. My wife was really disappointed, I lost my appetite. I said to another waiter to give me a bill, then he said "so early, you still have plenty time"I got even more upset. They tried to offer us desserts but I we didn't want to be there even one more minute. If you are having portion control then let your customer know! Not just look at them with long sad face like we did something! Shocking behaviour from female manager! Shame, the quality of meat was pretty good. Never again to dine at your restaurant!

Once again the service was great, only beaten by the excellent food. They make their own ice cream which is well worth a try.

Food was good however my family fell victim to discrimination during our dinner I would discourage you from your families also. After me paying for 7 heads to eat on our table as my two adopted sons of Bangladesh descent had arrived to eat with rest of our family already seated within the restaurant they were first declined entry and were verbally told “this place is too expensive for you”. To my shock this came from the manager which is usually stood outside and encouraging shoppers to eat. Great food once again but the profiling had ruined our families whole outing

Nice variety of tasty meats and constant supply, good choice of accompaniments, great idea with the yes/no cards to indicate when you've had enough meat. Did work out rather expensive with the service charge tho. Nice touch that the server brought my hubby out a slice of cake with a candle and the restaurant sang him happy birthday. Staff are welcoming and very friendly.

Extremely rude staff and owner. The chicken tastes bad. The advertised price is not the real price. They say it is 17 but it's actually 27.5 . Because I didn't like the chicken and I don't eat pork, I had beef and lamb only, they wanted to charge 35 and they told me that whilst I was eating. Left the restaurant immediately. The staff literally passed on me and snubbed when they were serving. They are extremely pushy and wanted you to order a drink every 3 minutes. It is thuggish behaviour. Go for a decent restaurant that you know the price clearly. It will be cheaper as well. They ran after me in the streets to force me to pay 35 literally. Never again. Petty owner and staff.

We visited Braza in Romford today for the first time, and it most definitely won’t be the last! The food was simply amazing 🤩. The meats were all cooked to perfection and the unbelievable selection of side dishes were so fresh and tasty. The restaurant itself is lovely and the staff were all very pleasant and friendly. If you’re lucky enough to visit when Miguel is working you will also have some light entertainment from his amazing dance moves 😍

Walk in to get charged 6.50£ to stand there and go to the buffet section and see a poorly presented salad section and all the lids off the foods and poor standard in food rotation the lasagne was constantly being cooked whilst under the hot plate with the beef croquettes dryer than Ghandis flip flop . Had an argument with the chef tall looking Greek possibly Albanian guy about the smaller tins provided as I remember getting a large tin for the buffet with a small one for the meat. He said they dont have them when I pointed out that there was a staff member using one and pointed this out he said what do you expect for 6.50£. I sent expect to get lied to is what I thought but left and said well I wont be coming here again and seeing as I already had the food having paid prior couldn't really get a refund it wasnt worth the grief .Nonetheless if management do read this please tell your customers dont go to the chef as it's clear his command and devious attitude to customers doesnt bold well .Regrettably the usual welcoming host wasnt there this evening and was recieved well initially shame that the chef was short tempered .

Was totally impressed with this restaurant. I was happy to see such a display of salads but going back to the table there is a never ending offer of up to 23 different choices of meat on a skewer. Of course I tasted every one and having turned my card to no, meaning no more thank you I spotted another steak on a skewer so quickly turns it back to yes and wow yet another simply scrumptious meat. I turned my card back to no and got up before I saw the next one. All in all no one can say it wasn’t for them as there are so many choices. If I could make one criticism it’s the price. At £26 per head plus drink and desert if needed it’s not somewhere I could visit often £70,00 for a meal for 2 is a one off for me sadly

Look the place was packed to the rafters as it was one of the government cheap nights. So service was very slow. However when we did get meat it was very tasty. There just wasn’t enough of it. The inside was far to hot but the lady does warn you we were lucky got an outside table. Would we come again if we had to pay full price probably not.

Food was extremely delicious , staff was friendly and approachable. The price was better than I expected. Will definitely be going back . The only downside was after being spoken to by management about wearing mask some customers were still forgetful and still going to get food without their mask .

Got a delivery. Dont waste your time. This place and Galetos both doing delivery. Same owners selling poor quality food trying to make a quick buck! Food was disgusting and the delivery driver stood at the door knocking. Its supposed to be contactless. Signed to him to leave it on the floor from the window and the guy just stood there. Couldnt believe it. Im sure the guy was one of their waiters from when they were open before the lockdown. Come on how can you mess up something so simple. Makes you wonder if they cant get a contactless delivery right how are they preping their food. The moment I realised that there was no thought to the contactless side of the delivery I just binned the food, cant be taking chances at these times.

Everything else was fine, the meat was tooo salty and when the bill came with the service charge, I felt it was not value for money. The desserts were not included in price per person.

I've eaten in the rodizio restaurants in Brazil and while this isn't quite the same the food is great and unlike some in London they keep the meat coming. The sides and buffet was great.My wife thought her drink was very watery but I couldn't tell. Only improvements would be a bit of the Brazilian energy in the service but for Romford - really good

We visited Braza for the first time not really knowing what to expect. The staff are lovely and explain as soon as you arrive. You have a beer mat type card Green on one side saying YES and red on the other saying NO. So off you go up to the buffet area where they have everything from soup, starters including lasagne, pastas, curries, ribs etc as well as all the salads, about four different types of potatoes, get what you want and go back to your table. This is where your card comes in: there is a grill centre stage in the room surrounded by waiters who are constantly looking for green cards and before you know it, they are there at your table with offers on large stakes of various different meats. We had chicken legs, gammon, beef, the best lamb i have ever tasted and they will carry on carving and adding to your plate until you say that’s enough, thank you. Now if your plate at this time is full, turn your card to red and nobody comes near you unless you check your drinks or that your meal is ok. After if you fancy more off you go and get some more, back up to the buffet (their pasta salad is heaven), back to the table, card back to green and the waiters appear with more offerings. If you don’t fancy what they have, just say no and someone will bring up something else. We honestly had a fabulous evening, the food was truly amazing and the staff could not do enough. Braza we will be back and soon xx

Disgusted by the fact that my 8years old is been charged £24.99 as an adult. And we have been given a table for only 1hr and 10minutes. Instead of the asked time of 2 his staying. The service was slow and we felt unwelcome. A shocking service and rude member of staff.(manager was so rude)

Absolutely horrendous dinner last night in Braza for Valenties Day.. Couples were packed in like sardines, it was like being out to dinner with everyone around you! My partner didn't even have enough room around the table to get up for the buffet.. ridiculous Shown to our table and were not told anything about the 'special' menu, think it was supposed to include dessert but we weren't offered this. £35 a head was an absolute rip off.Us, along with some other diners, were seated at our 7:30pm slot and had left by 8:15pm. Asked to point at what we wanted off the menu as waitress spoke no English..Horrible ambience, buffet was mediocre (mostly cold and empty bowls), guessing they couldn't keep up with the amount of people they had in there. Once we decided we could no longer sit listening to everyone else's conversations, it took 4 attempts to get the bill. Our eyes watered when it came up at £80.Staff were not interested in our complaint and so left very frustrated and £80 lighter in our wallet!!!! If you want a romantic night, this is not the place to come.

Came here for dinner last night with the other half using the group on deal (remember to bring your voucher code!) and it wasn't overly busy which was nice. The music wasn't too loud so you could take to one another. You had a self service buffet which was lovely! You had so many different options to choose from, from the: dips,to the salad, to the vegetables and to the carbs (rice, chips ect) all the salad was fresh. The hot foods were left in hot pots and can't complain as they were hot and had a taste. The meat comes round and you can say yes or no and how much you want. (You have the yes and no cards for when your ready for meat and when you've had enough and can easily keep flipping back and forth) There is a wide selection of meats that come around which is perfect If your a fussy eater (like me) and they are cooked fresh and lovely and hot. You had a choice of 3 cocktails in the deal and they are made very well. The desserts were exquisite! Presentation was fantastic and they tasted amazing! (at an extra cost) the staff are all friendly and polite. The restaurant is clean, modern and spacious. Very much enjoyed a relaxing dinner together. We will definitely return again! ☆☆☆☆*Only given 4 stars as I found some of the meat a little bit fatty and it needed abit more atmosphere*

My wife and I had a meal in Braza tonight and I’m amazed that anyone can give this restaurant poor reviews!! We were given a warm welcome by all staff and manager, then we were shown to the buffet salad and sides area which had a good selection. Went back to our table and the meat feast just kept coming and coming until we couldn’t possibly eat another thing!!Now my normal moan about some local Turkish restaurants was about five or six chunks of meat on a skewer for £15.Trust me this may be £25 but the flavour and amount of meat is worth the extra in my opinion. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be returning again. Thanks to all the staff and managers. This is my new favourite restaurant.

Although buffet area contained a good choice and fair taste, less can be said of the overpriced meal, the portions of meat were overcooked with most being left, this was pointed out to our waitress, who gave a chuckle, the the reply expected, why the cost of their menu increases 100% in December and the quality reducing by 100% is unacceptable, plus 10% service charge, l wish I had refused to pay it, but as it was a treat for my friends it did not feel appropriate to complain. We will not be returning even at the reduced price as previous months.

Went to the restaurant tonight and shockingly when the bill arrived it was more than the £20.99 for the Sunday price which is on the menu, it was £22.99 the waitress said it was a Christmas price when it’s not advertised anywhere in or outside the restaurant... false advertisement!!! Got home and now have food poisoning. Haven’t left the lavatory since arriving back from the restaurant. AVOID if you want your bowels and wallet to remain intact!

Great food and great service. Lunch time is a bargain. There’s a buffet selection and then you have different meats offered to you and some cut right in front of you at your table.

The meat was cooked very well and they are not stingy with it at all! The buffet for the sides were also very good and kept topped up with fresh portions regularly. I left very satisfied and I'm sure a whole dress size bigger!

went to braza with family for birthday i dont now how the cope when the are full the food is kept warm in domestic size warmers and that what it is warm staff to me acted like it was there food as reluctant to give more than 2 slices of meat you could have as much sausage or chicken leg/sparrow by the size of that this is not for me

First time visit. There is a salad bar where you can help yourself to an amazing salad and many other sides including pork scratchings, fish in breadcrumbs, ribs, rice, soup and so much more. Personally when I visit again I would just get a good side salad and then wait for the freshly grilled meat is carved right to your plate. The meat is plentiful and you will not go hungry! You are given stop / go cards indicating whether you are still up for more meat or if you are taking a ‘breather’. The meat served was freshly cooked and during the lunchtime I visited was a choice of beef steak, beef skirt, pork loin, gammon, lamb leg, beef rib, chicken thigh, pork belly, pork tenderloin, sausage and more. The drinks are a little pricy but I suppose this is fairly typical. I had a cocktail (very nice) the buffet and and soft drink and paid £28 for the lunchtime menu. I ate very well indeed and certainly would visit again. The only minor criticism would be that the dishes you would expect to be hot on the salad bar (chips, ribs etc) were Luke warm at best. Maybe don’t bother with these and just wait for the freshly cooked meat.

I've walked past this restaurant many times and the smell of roasted meat was enticing. A Groupon deal gave me the opportunity to try it at a reduced rate.

A great ambience and friendly restaurant. Good choice of well cooked meats, from rare to well done. Good choice of accompanying dishes. Can go get as and when and meat constantly coming around. Good selection of beverages. Staff were lovely and helpful.

Gently staff always asking if we need anything more. Good environment, good music as well, multicultural place. A place to visit again!

Probably worth visiting in such an area like Romford, but certaily Rodizio Rico Islington is far better place for the same price.

The fresh cooked meet that comes round is very nice and comes around often. The side dish buffet part is a bit meh, its ok but not great, if that part was better it would be really good. Price is ok, drinks a little expensive.

When it comes to going for a meal whether it be couples,friends or business Braza is the perfect setting and atmosphere and the food is absolutely out of this world! A salad bar with other items too like fries, Pasta even potato croquettes! As for the Barbecued different cuts of meat you will not be disappointed! All round the perfect place for every meal!

I popped in for a quick bite and had the buffet where they come to your table with various meats for £18.99 all in. I also had a Diet Coke.

This restaurant is one of my favourites to dine at. My partner (a massive meatatarian!) and I love the Churrascaria rodizio restaurants (Brazilian style steakhouse where the meat is cooked on a Portuguese barbecue). The various meat selection is barbecued in front of you by professional Churrasco cooks on large metal skewers, then the whole skewer is brought to your table and slices are carved off for you to take with a set of tongs on your table. It is all you can eat so you can keep going until you’re satisfied! There is a card each on the table that is green for “yes, please, more” and red on the other side for “no, thank you, I’m done”. Just turn it over to red when you’re done.

This place is what’s known as a churrascaria, somewhere offering a succession of grilled meats which the diner catches with a pair of tweezers as the waiter slices a piece or two downwards from its giant skewer. I was offered in very thick succession slices of beef rump, a chunk of pork and a chicken thigh, gammon and lamb. They started to arrive the moment I returned from a salad bar with slaw, onions, gherkins and chips but I could have even helped myself to cauliflower florets, mixed green salads or even lasagna. I very quickly turned my card from green (more please) to red (enough). Sample desserts are displayed on a plate. I chose flan (Creme caramel) served with honey drizzling around the edges of the plate accompanied by a thoroughly acceptable double espresso. Earlier a pint of San Miguel had been very thirst quenching in a hot afternoon.

Second time here and really pleased. Owner very involved and ensures diners are adequately catered for. Lovely ambience, good food, friendly staff. Comes highly recommended.

I have worked in Romford for years and walked past this place almost daily. I ventured into here for the first last week for a work celebration and wasn’t disappointed. The buffet was well stocked with a good choice it was looked after by very attentive staff member which I was confident about the hygiene element. ( germaphobe) then the meat arrived ! O my word it was amazing ! Mouthwatering cuts cooked to perfection again the chef was very attentive. A couple in the group thought the steak was under cooked fir them and straight away they offered to cook for longer ! Very reasonably priced and great friendly staff.
