This is a review of a Romanian who wanted to show his British friends what Romanian food is like, and I was very happy with how it went. The staff was really friendly, and the food was really tasty! Sometimes Romanian food can be too salty and too greasy, but this was just right, and everything we ordered was delicious. The papanași were among some of the best I’ve had even in Romania. And also quite important, the prices are decent for London! Thank you for making a good impression on my friends!

Had a really big and delicious lunch here - food is tasty and reasonably priced. Would recommend the bruschetta, chicken with mushroom and cream with polenta. I will definitely try some more things next time.

Comportament foarte urat fața de clienți , fir de par pe farfurie , care nu mi se pare normal ca ospătăriță sa îți lași parul desfăcut !Din 4 ospatarite una nu a fost atenta sa zică măcar pofta buna sau dacă le mulțumești îți întorc spatele !

So far the most accurate authentic Romanian taste I had in UK. The restaurant looks very neat and welcoming and the staff was very friendly. The food was also served very quickly. Whenever I'm in London again I'll make the detour.

I recently went and ate in this restaurant, it is not expensive and I can say that it is a very clean restaurant, which is the hardest thing to find in the area. Unfortunately, I cannot give 5 stars because the food was not 5 stars. I ate salmon with seafood, it was tasty but the sauce was very salty, I barely managed to eat it. I will come back here because I like the location and maybe I will have better luck with the food next time...

Awful food. Incompetent staff. I’m really curious where all the good reviews come from…. When the food came, the waiter spilled my drink on the table. I was expecting some apologies and another drink but the waiter just put the can back on the table as nothing happened. Order some fries and they were awful and cold. Asked for ketchup and I’ve got an empty bottle..so I have asked for another bottle and the waiter just took it and shaken the bottle to check if it was empty. Finally when asked for the bill, of course they forgot to bring it so we just sat at the table waiting. Not coming back. I don’t recommend this place. Hopefully this review can help someone to decide if it’s worth it to go.

I’ve been many any times to this restaurant. And not because food is cost effective, not because of the waitresses, but because i felt good to eat fresh food in a welcoming place. Although the serving area is relatively small, i did realised that “good people fit anywhere”. This is one of the places that I’m pleased to visit regularly.

The soup is very nice, I asked for chicken and mushrooms sauce, so so salty, I asked to change me the plate, instead of chicken and mushrooms sauce I have received a kind of soup with chicken and mushrooms. Regarding the girl who served us I can say that was rude, she needs a good training regarding customer service and restaurants.

Sup is very tasty 🤩 but unfortunately the stuff is running the image of that place...

Ok!! Mai ales : servirea, calitatea mincarii si te simti ca acasa. Adica in românia!!! Sarbatori linistite.

Prima vizita la "Braseria Timidoreana"..în urma sugestiei unei cunostinte. Este un loc draguț si curat la o prima impresie. Mancarea...am comandat 2 portii de peste cu cartofi taranesti si mamaligută. M-am gandit că, comandând peste am certitudinea ca va fi un preparat proaspat pregatit. Certitudinea mi sa naruit când am mancat... Peştele meu era reâncalzit si celalalt facut proaspat ... cel reâncalzit era deja usor uscat la interior si carnea avea o alta textura se desprindea...si cel pregatit proaspat avea carnea frumoasa , rozalie si textura de peste facut proaspat. Mamaliga....2 bucatele taiate la cutit încalzite la microunde...in mijloc era rece si marginea uscata...deci evident nu proaspătă. Cartofii taranesti sunt facuti cu ceapa si bacon ( chiar asa ne spusese si domnisoara care ne-a servit) ..... Noi am primit cartofii taiati cubulete..prajiti probabil pe la ora pranzului si reâncalziti cand ni s-au servit noua...cu putin patrunjel deasupra...nici urma de bacon sau ceapa cum ar fi trebuit sa fie. Cartoful isi schimba gustul dupa racire...si reâncalziti...sunt sfaramiciosi si au un gust aparte. La desert am servit papanasi...acestia din urma au fost gustosi. Cand am cerut nota de plata...ni s-a spus ca doar cash...am.spus ca nu ne asteptam sa fie doar cash si ca putem plati cu cardul. Evident se putea plati cu cardul...dar se prefera cash .. Am cerut bonul de la.casa de marcat ca sa vad si eu pe ce am dat banii....mi s-a raspuns amabil ca nu se poate caci am platit cu cardul..si daca pune pe casa de marcat trebuie sa treaca cash. Am zambit si am evitat sa argumentez situatia. De 10 ani manager de magazin stiu ce inseamna încasarile si cash/ card pe casa de marcat. Am preferat sa nu ne stricam seara iesita pentru a manca ceva...si am plecat fara a le spune nemultumirea legata de mancare...nu rezolvam nimic. Daca un peşte o mamaliga si un cartof nu au putut fi pregatite proaspat...la celelalte preparate nici nu vreau sa ma gandesc, care necesita mai mult timp de preparare. Evident ca nu voi mai reveni..dupa aceasta dezamagire...pacat ca inca se merge pe mentalitatea .."Lasa , că merge si asa". Schimbarea incepe cu noi dragi romani...

Located in Burnt Oak, right on the main, Edg is are road. Loved the food, but please name sure you know what you are ordering. Good selection of dishes but all authentic, so if you want more European comprehensive choice, this is probably not your place. Frequented by many native Romanians and waiters assume your are one to so try to speak to you in Romanian. Overall nice dinner but i can't say that this place would make it for a great outing. Fairly cheap, but parking only available in evenings / weekends.

One of the employees from the kitchen was acting like the customers are losers and he is perfect, calling them loser even if some of them were sitting at the table. I wonder what would hapen if “the losers” wouldn’t come into this restaurant and how would he be paid. Too bad for the restaurant, cause with this kind of employees they will lose all the customers. Never come back!!!

I always go there with my boyfriend.When we want the taste exactly like home in our Country,we are going there. Everytime the food is so fresh and tasty.And also is very cheap .So thumbs up Timisoareana !

Thought the only excellent Romanian eatery was near Tottenham Hale...until a friend told me about this place,so went to try. They have a much more limited range,but what they do is very good.We had a very tasty Bean Soup with Smoked Pork, a Tochitura which is stew Moldavian style...and obviously the national dish...Mamaliga,which is their version of Polenta and comes with sour cream. Portions were more than adequate,prices very acceptable,staff helpful. They also do a range of pizzas,cold and hot snacks and some Pasta dishes.

Yo soy un gran fan de Rumania y comida rumana, pero no he sido durante muchos años, así que estaba encantado de visitar este restaurante.Nuestro servidor muy amable conmigo sobre Rumania conversamos, recomendado cosas en el menú y platos vegetales encontramos encantador para mi esposa.Me complace especialmente que tenían y tochitura cascaval pane! Otros comensales parecía ser rumana, que es una excelente recomendación en mi libro.Comimos mucho para el almuerzo en el restaurante que no necesitamos nada para la cena de esa noche!Los precios eran muy razonables teniendo en cuenta la calidad y lo mucho que comimos. Realmente merece la pena echarle un vistazo.

I like to drop in for a take-away dinner. The food is authentic Romanian, with a good range of dishes, and good prices at about £6 for a main. I have tasted their fasole batuta (beans mash dip), salata de vinete (aubergine dip / like baba ganoush) - starters, ardei umpluti (stuffed peppers), iahnie de fasole (bean stew), mici (kofta) - mains, and always my favourites, papanasi (fried dumplings with cream and jam, massive portion with two big pieces) - desert. I have to say each dish tastes like the home-made versions, and for a take-away dinner for two is about £20. Not bad, and makes a nice change from other London food. Very impressed and would recommend it to my friends. Wondering how to order it for delivery home - I think for parties they deliver by taxi.
