Boyce's Bakery in Canterbury

Popped in for a coffee & cake with a colleague for our break great choice of cakes rolls sandwiches etc all reasonably priced Kaatje looked after us coffee and cake was awesome great service and would recommend highly.

Had lunch here on Saturday and it was great. Fast friendly service, food lovely. We sat upstairs and Lizzie brought our food up to us. Definitely recommend it.

The best bakery in town, always call in while my wife is having her cold water sea swim. Excellent cakes and savouries good prices and great service( take away) can’t recommend enough

We visit family every few weeks in Herne Bay, and Boyces has always been a must visit! Before we head home we always stock up on a few cakes as a treat that evening. The last 2 times however the cakes have just been awful. The first cream slice - Really flat and no cream to it. We thought this may be a one off.. went back today and this time the puff pastry was burnt and the cream curdled (the ‘cream’ covering the burn visually, but not the taste!). Such a shame as this was always a fab bakery, but we won’t be coming back.

So expensive for more water £2 for a small cup of tea this is just water and a teabag left in it. If you want a large cup which is more water still tea bag left in it it’s £2.30

They do great cakes. All fresh also they do pastries. They price is good .you can sit in side or outside.

Normally love going here as lovely food and friendly staff. But not today! I called in to buy a cut loaf and a cake for my husband. I stood waiting as this particular young lady was serving, when she finished she just ignored the fact I was waiting and was just chatting to her colleague who at the time was serving! Then she asked if she could help to which i said yes please could I have a cut loaf, bloomer please. She said would you like that cut, yes pls. I then asked for a beguim bun that was fine, i was looking for some bread pudding and asked do you have any bread pudding please to which she quickly replied if its not there then no!! I looked at the lady next to me who looked shocked, I said that was rude wasnt it, she said just a bit. I then put £10 on the counter to pay and when she bought my change back, I held my hand out and she just put it on the counter and walked away. This has never happened in there before and I felt this was not good customer service at all and certainly uncalled for and very rude! I hope management will deal with this in the correct manner. 4.1. 2024 am

Came here for my cousins birthday treat, as it is her favourite spot in Herne Bay. Lots of traditional options, but also things for vegans too. I really enjoyed my vegan savoury slice, bread pudding and soy latte. Upstairs is very relaxing with very comfy sofas. Staff so friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed our visit. Thank you.

Came in as I wanted to see if the the reputation they have is fair? All I can say is no, they are far better than amazing! Absolutely to die for cakes and pastries… got a tad excited whilst ordering! Hats off guys, best bakery since Birds in the north! ( google it) in fact you’d overtake them now and they are a household name up North

Been going since it opened. Always freshly made and great choice of cakes. Best coronation chicken baguettes ever! Great little seating area as well. Nice cuppa and people watching is a must.

Couldn't resist popping in here for a drink and a yummy treat. There was so much choice of tempting goodies. Very friendly and helpful staff.

This is a new establishment, and the surroundings are great. Tables at a reasonable distance from each other and comfortable chairs. Yea and coffee great, as were the prices. The cakes were giant and very nice.
