Bowla - A Bowl With A Roll in Swansea

We’ve been meaning to visit for a while and Bowla did not disappoint. We had the vegan meatballs and vegan cheese, it was delicious. The portion was perfect too, just enough for a nice lunch

Where do I begin…the bread is gorgeous. The black cracked pepper is delicious and the choice of fillings always make it hard to choose what to have. The meatballs and the Thai green curry are my go to’s every-time! The staff are lovely and Hannah is super helpful with explaining all the different dietary options - they have vegan stuff too! Super affordable and definitely worth the money! Can’t wait to try the new festive bowla! - and congrats on the 5* food hygiene rating well deserved!!!

Tucked away in the wonderful Swansea market, Bowla is a real hidden gem. Amazing staff and delicious fillings alongside the first of its kind bowla loaf make it a spot well worth visiting - that isn’t too harsh on the wallet. I’ve tried the cawl, meatballs, and Christmas bowla fillings, and I’ll definitely be coming back for more of each (the cawl especially 😍). A 100% must try!
