Botanik BBQ in North Somerset

Really enjoyable experience eating dinner here on a Sunday. Very generous portion sizes (maybe a little too big for me but they helpfully packed up leftovers to go) and beautifully flavoured chicken & Lamb Shish mix Food also tasted fresh and I think it’s pretty healthy ~ most dishes served with fresh salad. Have visited twice and will be back again soon.

I only had a halloumi wrap but it was delicious. Looked like a good selection of fresh, tasty food. Staff were lovely

Went for a kebab, got extra chips and baclava. Very ta at y kebab, sweet baclava and good chips. Quick service would definitely go again.

Until now almost every kebab shop we've been too have been more or less the same, yes some are a bit fresher than others but this place beats them all and il tell you why. Not only do they use a genuine charcoal bbq to cook their meats giving you that proper bbq flavour but the seasoning is on another level, very very tasty. The owner was very welcoming and friendly and recommended some dishes for us 😊 So glad i found this place as will be our new go to. Thanks guys!

Went for mixed meze and some backlava. Returned again for more for the rest of the family when they joined me! Really good home-made food from friendly staff too. (They do only take cash, just so you’re aware)

The Botanik serves traditional Turkish kebabs cooked over barbecue coals. They are simply delicious. They are served with fresh salad and thick pitta bread. The restaurant is situated opposite the Playhouse in Grove Village. Highly recommended.

Certainly a spot worth stopping by, the food is awesome and well prepared, the costs are convenient and it is regularly well organized here. Keep up the good work. The Best in a Town, defnitly highly recomended!!!

Apart from the surly people who work there - (try getting a smile out of any of them) my primary concern during these uncertain times is that BASIC food hygiene demands thatif you handle money then you DO NOT touch foodAlas - feel free to order your take away and watch how potential germs abd bacteria get passed fom person to person to your food!!

Normally love the food from here. Just got a delivery.. my burger bun was black! Kebab was cold and so was the chips! Really disappointing. Waste of £17!!

No complaints about the food. Service is terrible. Guy behind the counter was so rude. I simply asked if the chicken could be well done for which he refused. Unfortunately I had already paid. I asked again for meat to be well done the guy must have been having a bad day as I ended up having my wrapped kebab thrown at me. Will never set foot in this place again.

Visited shop. And chap was smoking outside, spitting went back in and did not wash hands . Disgusting. You never see them wash hands. Handling money . Serving food .

Worst kebab I've ever had. Lamb shish was 5 small cubes with no taste. The chilli sauce was again tasteless and the salad was so watery there was loads of water sloshing around the carton. Will not be going back. A shame as I had been told it was a good kebab. Definitely not true.

Hands down the best kebab I’ve had in England! I had the chicken donner - delicious! Generous portions and the added rice is just genius. We had to try the lamb ribs cooked over coals too and we were not disappointed! We live over half an hour away and will not hesitate to make the trip, totally worth it!

Ordered two small kebabs was told it would be around 45 mins delivery time. Almost two hours later it still hadn’t arrived so cancelled it and asked for a refund. Was constantly told it would arrive any minute. Ended up going and getting some food from another fast food restaurant when we arrived home the food had finally arrived 2 and a half hours later! Will never order from here again!

Order via just eat for 8:30pm, this time was adjusted to 9pm so not happy from the start. The meals arrived late and items where missing, although my food was alright it didn't blow me away. The other meal was awful chips over cocked and meat really bad. To say I will never ever be buying from this place again is an understatement.

What's happened to Botanik!? Ordered delivery tonight it arrived 20 mins early which initially you might think is good. Portion size poor, food warmish and not what it used to be. Won't be going there again

Used to order from this takeaway regularly. Lately things have been missing and staff have been very rude and confrontational about it, borderline aggressive. They seem to be taking much longer to deliver and more often than not the food isn't hot but just warm. They missed a whole dish from the order and wasn't even going to do anything about it. They reluctantly accepted liability and delivered the dish, but it was cold. Won't be using these again, very disappointing.

Top kebab as always. Easy no hassle same every time. Always my number one place to go I love the fresh bread not your typical kebab much more flavor.

Working away in Weston popped in here a couple of times. Pizzas cheap and cheerful, large chicken shish nice, not your usual kebab a bit different with rice but nice still.

Try the lamb ribs they are amazing ! Fresh bread salad homous on the side, gurt lush it is. I get mine collection after work as its quicker.

Ordered food at 7pm, 2 kebabs and chips. The worst food I have ever seen I wouldn’t give it to my dog! Cold, tasted horrible and don’t get me on the portion sizes - needed a magnifying glass to locate my kebab meat!!! Phoned up 6/7 times - said they would call me back (never did), refused refund and told if I wanted a refund that I had to drive to the restaurant and drop the food off. WTF?? We didn’t eat the food and said they could pick it up when ever they wanted too. Worst part is the manager wouldn’t even speak to me. Just eat we’re pretty useless as well to be honest. At least I got a massive £7 voucher for my troubles! The food was £15 and I ordered more food from somewhere else! Please please avoid like the plague!!!

The food was faultless other then the fact I ordered cheesy chips and there was no cheese on my chips. The delivery man didn't read the receipt and just stood at my door and said call it £20! I normally tip the delivery guy but it was just cheeky the fact he had decided he was going to have a tip how many others has he done this to?! But on a brighter note food was spot on as always best kebab in Weston!

After waiting for my delivery for over an hour (on a monday) I rang back up only to be told it will be there in 15 minutes. 20 minutes later it arrived..cold. when I rang back up with my grieveance I was told by very rude staff they were short on delivery drivers - not my problem and not helpful. No apology, or offer to send out fresh hot food, or refund. Will go elsewhere next time!

Not happy!! Not only was the food order delivery time changed twice, it then turned up over 30 minutes late with no explanation or apology. The food was cold when it eventually got here and the quality of food was poor! I’m very disappointed!!!!

Meat not tasty or fresh tasting. Meant to be no onion in one wrap- had loads of onion in both making it barely edible. Will not order again

We always get the Chicken Shish Wrap. The wrap is amazing, lovely and thick. It does not taste like typical takeaway food (not greasy or anything). We usually order for delivery which always comes promptly. Their pizzas are also really good! I would definitely recommend!

Delivery was late, had to phone to chase it up and kept gettin cut off. Pizza was badly burnt on the bottom but the cheese wasn't melted. Won't be ordering again from here.

We ordered food at 1937, was told it would be delivered at 2055.......... 2140 came, no delivery!!!!! Ended up cancelling order. Abysmal service! No phone call from the restaurant to say it's late, nothing!

The food was great quality as ever and tasty as well. Apart from the complete lack of any mayonnaise at all. This is the third time that something in my order has been done incorrectly and it never used to happen, but I always get roughly what I ordered (i.e. there's never whole portions missing). Be aware of Botanik as when they get busy quality control seems to slide downhill, maybe a bit more attention would help when it gets popular :) Lucky there was enough mayo around the house so all was well in the end and I look forward to ordering again soon.

Waited an hour to have anemic chips and wraps and kebab without usual bread but crappy tortilla and pitta. Usually our favourite kebab place! Very disappointed!!!

Took hour 40 minutes to arrive 35 minutes after the time given on the email response. Food had been steamed to death waiting for delivery I assume. Salad was warm and barely any sauce. Restaurant advised I used their website instead just eat when I rang up asking where it was. Honestly so disappointed wish I hadn't bothered ordering anything at all.

It was our first order..we had chips with one chicken shish which we did not order wanted the rice so was disapointed with tjat but apart from that it was lovely and so was the greek salad

Food was delicious although missing a pot of houmous which I couldn't be bothered to complain about because it would probably take another hour and a half to get to me!! I think the delivery drivers are overstretched. I will use the restaurant again though because the food is good. Sort the other stuff out and it's 5 stars all the way.

Food never turned up after waiting over an hour and half Second order was declined because I complained first order never arrived only giving 1 star as had to put at least one.

Food was absolutely disgusting!! Chips had obviously been heated in a microwave(soggy) food was also Luke warm once arrived. ordered a coke with my food however no coke to be seen and after waiting almost an hour for "fast food" delivery was really no point in calling to ask for this to be brought to me. Very poor will not be ordering from here again.

Brilliant as always. Haven't used In a while but didn't disappoint. Delivery seemed like it took minutes, food always fresh and hot. Such a lovely polite delivery driver too.
