Very rude baristas. Unwelcoming service. When asked for milk basically slammed it on the counter and didn’t speak to us when we said “thank you” like 4 times. The guy barista is walking with a cigarette behind his ear and smokes infront of the entrance. Coffee and pastries are ok, although there were several flies flying around the pies and cookies.

Excellent espresso based coffee right in central London, with perfectly made cortado and cappuccino (exactly the right propositions) and the kids loved the croissant and pain au chocolat. And the service was perhaps the best part.

One of the best coffees I've had in a while. We also had a bagel and croissant, both with ham and cheese. They were both excellent, but the chocolate chip cookie was amazing too. Well done to the team.

The best part is the fresh juice and differents options that they have, also the pastries 🥐 looks delicious, coffee is always good here, and the service also, they are really nice.

Cute little coffee shop with reasonable prices considering it's in the fancy part of town. The mocha, latte and flat white were very good, though one of my friends said there was a hint of spice, similar to the winter blend in Nero, so you may want to keep that in mind if you don't like that particular coffee. The hot chocolate unfortunately wasn't as good as the coffee, but still decent!

Borough Barista Coffee in London easily snags a solid five stars! Found this place by accident and it’s a hidden gem, with a chill vibe that screams "stay a while." The coffee is really good and great selection of foods and snack. Seating downstairs too. It's not just a coffee shop; it's like a cozy retreat in the midst of London hustle.

Came here the other day, amazing coffee and very love staff. Would definitely recommend their blueberry muffin!!

Delicious coffee and muffin. Barista this morning (10:45am) was soooo grumpy and unfriendly. Not worth the cost of the coffee and muffin for such grumpy service. He didn’t jive with the vibe.

Maybe I got them on a bad day, but I ordered a Chai Latte and it tasted like frothy milk. No flavour despite stirring it plenty. I got takeaway so couldn’t really go back. Also think the atmosphere is a bit sad and dark in there

My favourite coffee shop (full stop), the coffee is always perfect, the treats are delicious and the staff are genuinely friendly. Even after ten years it still feels like a special secret. It a great place to work, meet a mate or just have a quiet five minutes. Also the only flat white to go that still tastes good by the time you reach your desk! If you are dedicated to coffee you have to add this to your list of must go to places.

The most fabulous coffee house with a big heart and soul - by far the best coffee in London (roasted in-house). Incredibly friendly, fun, warm and welcoming atmosphere. They bake their own incredibly delicious blueberry muffins too. Feel grateful to have discovered this hidden gem. Run by the most wonderful and gorgeous team.

As a high experience backpacker from Sweden, in Great Britain I can say that this place is lovely. The owners is the most kindest people I ever met. Good service and a fantastic menu. Don't have any (!) vegetarian food. The staff claiming "they usually don't have vegetarian customers" didn't make me feel very welcome.

Absolutely lovely place, the staff were so kind. Great for bakeries and sandwiches. Would highly recommend.

This place is great. The staff are brilliant, warm, and skilled at making coffee. The decor is quite chic without trying too hard. Unusual in its goodness.

One of the best coffee places in town. I have switched from latte to flat white to Black in last 2 years however all of them are top notch servings at this place . They have good enough place to sit with lots of seating available downstairs. Absolute gem of a coffee place

Smoothest coffee imaginable. Lovely quiet place just off the madness of Haymarket. The food is great as well. The best flat white I've had in London this year!

Staff and atmosphere were nice. Everything that's not coffee comes in a plastic cup. Seriously? I order an iced tea to drink inside the shop and it comes in a plastic cup with a plastic straw? Makes me sick. Update your concept and get tumblers! Plastic is pretty much out of date and not sustainable, just in case you haven't noticed yet. Not to mention that the tea was water with almost non existent flavor.

Had a coffee here based on the good reviews. Maybe I was unlucky as my coffee was very average. Reasonably well made, milk textured ok, not much body or flavour or character though. Disappointing.

Take the time to enjoy the coffee and have a seat in the basement. I always find coffee tastes better when it's not being sipped out of a paper cup. Oh, and the coffee is good here, do not go to Pret or Starbucks!

Great coffee and snacks. Pricy, but what do you expect in this location. Great basement with seating. Some meetings going on with guys who have no concept of volume. Some girls working on laptops, so wifi is probably OK.

Their coffee was the best I tried during my stay in London by a long way! They have fresh and healthy sandwiches perfect for lunches and the banana bread was really moist and not too sweet like the chain equivalents you can buy. Service was fantastic - I enquired about additional banana bread and after informing me they had no more left, the jovial gentleman brought me the last piece he found after all five minutes later. For all this they weren't even that expensive considering the proximity to the Piccadily and Trafalgar Square tourist traps! The baristas were polite and chatty too, which is such a rarity!

Great coffee tucked around the corner from Trafalgar Square. Stars deducted and only quibble is that the service lacked any friendliness... maybe due to its mainly corporate suited and booted clientele.

Amazed to find such a great coffee shop so close to the nearby tourist hotspots. The artisan coffee was perfectly made, and I couldn't believe how much space the is downstairs - ideal for working out a quiet coffee meeting away from the crowds of Trafalgar Square and Picadilly.

Perfect coffee (I have tried cappuccino and americano), tasty cakes, nice staff. This is definitely one of my favourite coffee shops in London. I love this place! Just a shame is not open during weekends.

This is a wonderful coffee shop that roasts and grinds their own coffee beans for a delicious blend of flavor and strength. They are very friendly and their prices are reasonable. I would take them over Starbucks any day of the week.

Good coffee and cookies. The basement is spacious but lacks good light. The main floor has good light but less space and when people smoke at the outside table it flows immediately inside.

Coffee not bad, but when staff look bored, disinterested and are talking amongst themselves without really acknowledging their customers it just creates a really bad impression. Visited once and wouldn't go back when there are other, friendlier places to get coffee from.

I'm a big fan of this coffee shop. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. My only complaint would be the prices. Great flat white and the takeaway cup has a hole in the top so you get the aroma of the coffee. Worth the expense, you might suggest.

Great little coffee and juice shop haven in the centre of London which offers a refreshing alternative to the coffee shop chains in the area. Food looks excellent, tea and coffee is served up superbly and the seating downstairs is plentiful and stylish. Fantastic loos as well!

Good coffee but when I went in the staff were rude and ignorant. Stood at the counter for a minute before anyone acknowledged I was there, then person who did serve me mumbled and didn't say hello or goodbye. It doesn't take much effort... an air of unmerited pretension that means I won't return.

Great coffee and a nice little shop. It took a while for our coffees to come (it seemed busy, but not that busy), but the staff were really helpful and friendly and we were sipping the authentic antipodean style flat whites in no time
