This deli never disappoints lovely food great staff nothing to much trouble a little bit of Italy in Yarm.

Amazing food especially the caramelised pickles in the antipasti and the ravioli, great atmosphere, fantastic staff. We sat outside and they have heaters and blankets to keep you warm. Would definitely visit again.

A lovely little place with great food and coffee. They obviously know all the locals, it was like sitting on the set if a soap opera. We’ll be back.

My name is James, I'm in a wheelchair, I go to Borrellis nearly every day, and I have done for the past 4-5 years because I love it. I enjoy the banter with the staff and they bend over backwards to help me. I read the recent review regarding disabled people, and I can assure that it is all friendly and non-hostile. I would recommend this place to anybody: the coffee and paninis are the best in yarm.

We went for lunch at this restaurant in yarm. The food was fantastic and the coffee was probably the best that I have ever tasted. We asked for directions and the staff were very helpful. I can’t recommend this venue highly enough.

Honestly couldn’t recommend this lovely place enough, it’s an absolute must if you’re visiting Yarm! The paninis are delicious, staff were so so friendly, we could have sat enjoying the atmosphere all day! (In fact we ended up having 3 wines because we just didn’t want to leave) Thank you for a really lovely afternoon, we will definitely be back

Visited today waited over 50 minutes for a panini with 3 ingredients they missed one , was cold and sparse. Appalled at the way disabled patrons were treated and the contempt shown to customers Inside of long awaited panini photo attached-in short pathetic

Had coffee and toasted panettone here. The panettone was delicious and we enjoyed ours. The coffee was fine too. The only problem we encountered was that the serviette was on the plate under the panettone and the butter had dripped through onto it. This meant we had nothing to wipe our greasy fingers on after we had finished eating. Perhaps the serviette could be served on the side of the plate. Due to COVID 19 lockdown we were only able sit outside to eat and drink.

Usual fabulous atmosphere in this little restaurant down ‘The Wynd’ The proprietor Luci has managed to get together an outstanding team in his delightful establishment. The food is very typical Italian cuisine but of the highest standard,whether you go for the delicious Pannini,Bruschetta,Panettoni, Antipasta board or any of the other specialities of the house. We love the taste of his coffee which unlike many restaurants is of a very consistent quality. Special mention to staff members Paul,Barbara and young trainee Daniel, who based on his exceptional interpersonal skills and ability in making customers feel very special, is a terrific asset to the business. A visit to Borrellis is a must if you visit YARM where a warm welcome and first class food and refreshments are guaranteed.

Went along on Sunday following a recommendation and so glad we did. Great surroundings with seats inside and out. Great service from a very attentive waiter. Wonderful coffee and very tasty panini’s chosen from a varied menu from light bites to a full lunch . I’ll be returning soon

Came here with my mum, it was so canny. The food was delicious and they even personalised it for us when we had requests. The staff were so so nice. Amazing experience will definitely come again x

We came for brunch today. We thoroughly enjoyed our panini and baguette, with delicious coffee and orange juice. Friendly team serving us. Although it’s a small deli, we felt covid safe. Outside seating available.

Cafe now open for takeaway coffee, croissants etc. Had almost forgotten how good their coffee tasted. Delicious bacon rolls, croissants and coffee bought and then consumed by the river. Perfect morning in the sunshine, do good to see them open!

Just had a delicious lunch comprising of bruschetta for me and deli feast of amazing meats, cheese, bread and salad for hubby. Ate outside with having dog and staff kindly turned on heaters and brought a bowl of sausage for pooch. Will definitely return and try more dishes.

A lovely little coffee shop just off the high street, very friendly staff with a good crowd of not only regular customers but first time visitors all of whom receive a very warm welcome, this is definitely the best place in Yarm for a good cup of coffee and very reasonably priced savoury and sweet eats also daily newspapers are provided for the customers if you prefer not to chat but just sit and relax,a nice atmosphere and well worth the visit.

This is a an awesome little place tucked away just off the main high street. We had a couple of drinks with a meat and cheese platter while sat outside enjoying the sunshine. The hosts are really friendly too. Will be back!

We visited Borrelli for a coffee and croissant last week having walked past numerous times but never previously visited. It offers a great atmosphere with both indoor and outdoor seating for warmer days. The coffee and food was superb and the staff could not have been more welcoming.One of the nicest little coffee spots in the area and I will be sure to come back soon! I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone.

A small Italian cafe up a pedestrian way off the main street. The entrance is clearly marked by a large sign facing the main street. Tea is served in large teapots, which was very welcome. There is a selection of pastries and savoury foods suitable for all tastes. I enjoyed the savoury food I chose.

Borrelli is a delightful little cafe that serves fresh quality products. Great place for a light lunch or coffee and cake. Friendly and efficient owners/ staff. Whilst they do have some lovely Italian products , they also have Yorkshire ham ! Very small premises but tables added outside in decent weather.

We popped in here on a trip to Yarm for a quick drink. My partner had an "amazing coffee" and I had a pretty good hot chocolate, not over sweet. We saw some food being served and it all looked so tasty, and so generous. The service was SO very friendly and the atmosphere just lovely. Highly recommend!

was up early in Yarm finished my call went in to Borrellis been before just for tea and toast and got a good pot of tea and out came a baguette with butter and jam not expected it was yummy and everybody working were very nice and chatty a good place to go back again

Visted last week, 1st time, lovely fresh coffee and tasty Paninis, although small very cosy and friendly service.

An overdue coffee and a catch up with a friend today and been unfamiliar with Yarm let her lead the way up a little side turn off the high street. A fantastic deli cum coffee shop and my idea of heaven. I asked the man serving to describe the cakes but stopped him at chocolate and coconut.. perfect with my latte served in a proper chunky cup ( I always struggle with the glass ones) cake was delicious, light sponge, chocolatey, coconut.. My friend ordered the ham and cheese panini which was full of ham and looked good too. Although small, there were several customers, some who were obviously regulars and there was a nice atmosphere. Looking about, the shelves were displayed with lovely Italian produce and has given me some inspiration for early Christmas presents. The staff were friendly and happy to chat about their products. I will definately be back for lunch and stock up on a few treats (Malfy Gin) for myself.

We often go shopping in Yarm and when we do we try and have a coffee and a snack or a light lunch here. This time we had a light lunch of Yorkshire ham and chutney panini. The staff are extremely friendly and make you very welcome. We like their coffee too. Our lunch was great and we really enjoyed it.

First time visitor in the week - had bacon buttie (yummy) and a decaf coffee (tasty) and the bill was very reasonable. Quirky little place, with excellent service. Will visit again, for sure.

One of the bargains for a quick lunch, order the mediterranean platter between 2 and you will have plenty. " coffees and the platter come to somewhere about £12.50, can't be beaten

Borrelli is a wonderful Italian deli and cafe sitiated in Yarm. Great place for take away food or sit in snack/meal. Lunch time coffee pannini was delicious. Owners/staff efficient helpful and friendly. Quality produce/ ingredients.

Have been coming here for years for coffee after dropping off Miss Thirsty to school, & have seen they have recently started opening later on a Friday evening for evening meals. Menu varies weekly I think, Pasta, Pizza, Paninis. Myself & Miss Thirsty enjoyed some pizzas which were homemade & some salad. Really yummy, Polished off very quickly with some posh mineral water. Lovely atmosphere catching the last sunrays of the year. Its like an impromptu party in your mates garden. Great value, food & service. Licenced also so you can enjoy a nice glass of prosecco or a cold italian beer. Very authentic. Thanks guys.

This is our second visit. The first was about two years ago and I couldn't write a review or add one then. Happily this place is now on trip advisor The coffee is sensational. Has to be one of the best in England. They know how to do them here the Italian way. Seating outside. Down the wynd. Car parking outside on road sides £1 for three hours. Lovely looking good too. Very popular with the locals.

Have been to Borrelli's quite a few times for lunch. It has became a regular spot for me and my boyfriend. The staff are lovely and the food excellent and good value for money. Cannot fault it!(Advice: order a bowl of olives with your panini for the full experience)

Hidden away in Danby Wynd is this little Deli / cafe, my wife had previously visited and extolled its virtues. We visited at lunchtime today and I was very surprised and pleased with the service and food. We had a mixed platter of Meats, cheeses and antipasto. The plate was enough for the 2 of us and cost £6.95, unbelievable!! Add 2 Cappuccino coffees and the bill was less than £13. Highly recommended, not only as a bargain lunch, but very good food. Bueno!!

Lovely deli off the high street . Best panettone in town ! Friendly and welcoming with outdoor seating in any weather . Heaters and rugs in the cold , canopy when it's hot. Lovely !

What a fantastic little coffee shop.When sitting outside with a coffee I just need to close my eyes and I could be down an alley in Venice. The paninis are great and the shortbread that comes with the coffee is melt in the mouth gorgeous. Keep up the good work.

Excellent coffee, excellent food, excellent staff and you always leave with a smile on your face! Friday evenings are great with them now having a licence until 8.00pm. Great way to wind down on a Friday evening especially in good weather as you can dine alfresco.

Its a shame Borrellis isnt open every evening. We come here for the prosecco its gorgeous!!! Lucio is a really nice man and does everything to make sure our visit is a great one. The paninis are really nice. I would reccommend the Italian Tuna Melt (as for jalapenos aswel you wont be disappointed)

Great place at any time of the day. Staff are friendly and the choice is good, found this spot some years ago and it's a lovely find coffee is good too, they open late two nights a week, another one of my favorite spots in Yarm.

After a friend told me about this delightful deli/coffee shop I gave it a try today. The cappuccinos were great; flavoursome and wonderfully hot.It was too early for lunch so I tried a piece of flapjack....umm, yummy. My husband had a lovely chocolate and coconut cake.We were very warmly welcomed by a friendly lady and there was a nice feel to the place. I was also interested in all the Italian goodies on sale.I will certainly return and try something for lunch......soon I hope!

Have been visiting Borellis several years now, two or three times a week, sometimes just for a quick coffee, sometimes for more, Friday's are special with later opening and a lovely warm atmosphere.Food is excellent, well priced, deli meats and cheeses are always great quality. It is tiny and easily gets full, but the seating outside with heaters and blankets make it feel a bit magical and holiday like. Staff are brilliant, friendly and helpful always.It is a definite favourite for us and is consistently excellent

Great little deli friendly staff with lovely italian pastries its only small with a charm of its own.Have been visiting for a number of years.

A mate recommended this place but I have to say I wasn't very impressed. On a June afternoon when most of Yarm was basking in glorious sunshine this place was down a dark alleyway. I suppose it would appeal to some? The coffee was average at best. Service was fine but I just felt like I was missing the action- isn't the whole reason for sitting in a coffee shop to people watch? There are much better places in Yarm.

A little gem of a place just off the high street. Away from the busy main drag this is a small perfect little cafe and deli serving Italian food, delicious coffe and tempting cakes. Very reasonably priced, and delicious food, with warm and friendly staff, this place is well worth searching out. Good range of Italian deli items, either fresh or prepacked, which would add a certain something if you fancy recreating your own authentic Italian meal at home. Great place

This is the first time I have visited Borrellis but it definitely will not be the last. Called in for a quick lunch with a family member and we were very pleasantly surprised. We we pleasantly greeted on entering and after looking at the menu we decided to have a breakfast panini, a yorkshire ham panini and coffee. Delicious, delicious, delicious.....The panini was generously filled, lightly toasted and served with salted crisps on a wooden platter. Every single mouthful was delicious and the aroma and taste of the coffee....just divine. Don't bother going anywhere else if you like relaxation, exceptional service and fantastic Italian food and coffee.

Wondering where to eat?.....think no further.....Borellis of Yarm is certainly a hidden treasure. What makes this place great is the quality of the food. This is the perfect place to sit and relax and the staff are great.

I opened a shop in yarm in November called jtmobiles, and stumbled across Borellis whilst looking for a nice coffee on my first day... I fond Borrellis down a small archway which leads to the Denby Wynd in yarm and have never looked anywhere else for my supply of Italian coffee and treats. I find the staff relay friendly and bubbly. The Panettone and coffee are a must. If you want that Italian touch and atmosphere then look no further. A small gem to not to be missed.

This little deli is tucked away on the side streets of Yarm and you would not come across it unless somebody told you about it. The owner is a fantastic guy with a great interest in attention to detail, particularly the salads which look amazing and full of colour when served. The menu is varied and offers a wide range of salads and panini, all with an Italian touch which compliments the overall style of the deli itself. The location of the deli (not being on the High Street) is the only drawback to a very successful eatery.

My wife and I regularly visit this great little deli down Danby Wynd in Yarm. There is a very friendly atmosphere provided by all the staff who provide a good range of hot and cold food and drink both sweet and savoury all with an Italian theme. Despite being only small they also offer a range of cold and cooked meats, cheeses, fresh pastas and other Italian foods to take away and tempt your palate in the comfort of your own home. There is limited seating inside supplemented by seating outside and a toilet on the upper floor. Definitely worth a visit.

After reading the previous reviews I looked forward to trying this deli. Overall I felt it didn't live up to expectations. It is very very small, which some would say adds to it's charm but it is also quite claustrophobic inside. The lady serving was friendly and efficient. The food was fine for a light lunch.

We've visited here a couple of times for coffees and paninnis on a lunchtime and have always been impressed by the standard of the food and drinks.There are a few tables outside and a few tables inside the restaurant / delicatessen but, in our opinion, it helps create a more intimate atmosphere. We especially love being tempted by all the lovely Italian cooking ingredients whilst waiting to pay our bill!Overall, we find it a great little place (just off the main high street) for a coffee and/or lunchtime snack.
