Had a really fun time celebrating my birthday with crazy golf, pool and some cocktails. Josh, our bartender/mixologist, was super friendly and experienced when making all sorts of drinks from zombies to old fashioneds. We loved Boom Bar’s 2 for 1 deal which nicely accommodated our group of 4. From my experience, I’d recommend it and will definitely go back again. Pictured here are the mojitos and the old fashioneds.

Came here with a group of friends for a birthday, great place with a good atmosphere. Let down by slow bar service. We booked the karaoke room, a heads up to arrive early & grab a couple of drinks before your time slot else you’ll waste time waiting at the bar to be served. We had a great time would return but a shame we had this experience first time & missed out on half our time in the karaoke room.

When it first opened, Boom Battle Bar was my favourite place to go in the city. It was the first activity bar in Coventry and was very innovative and exciting. Since then, it has massively gone downhill. It looks very run down, in need of some TLC and there are various broken parts on the golf course. We came for Bottomless Brunch yesterday and I can only describe it as a huge waste of money. We had to sit on the high stools which was very painful on my less able-bodied back! The DJ was poor. With "unlimited" drinks, we only got 4 in 2 hours. Every available cocktail was disgusting so we switched to lager and cider which were both flat. Included in the brunch was "street food" which consisted of loaded fries and either chicken wings or vegan nuggets. The loaded fries weren't too bad but both the chicken wings and vegan nuggets were so undercooked that they were inedible. Tiny portions for the price too. We left 90 minutes into our 2 hour session because we were all starving and wanted decent food. The toilets were filthy too. The only good part was that a game of golf was included, but the course is now very run down with lots of broken bits. Essentially, 4 of us paid £35 per head for flat drinks, inedible food, rubbish music and a bad back from sitting on the stools! Complete waste of money.

Sabine was a delightful staff member who made our visit worthwhile and ensured we had a great time.

Absolutely amazing experience for bottomless brunch. We had a big booking and MIA was UNREAL she was super attentive, like you don’t even think you needed another drink and it appeared. Some of our party were outside having a cigarette and out she comes to take the food order, excellent value, fantastic service and will 💯 be back!

A bit hit and miss, the two main things we did here was axe throwing and crazier golf. Crazier golf was brilliant it's basically a course of gimmick challenge holes which were super fun and super unique. However the axe throwing omg, those blades are so dull you could hit it perfectly and it not stick, started to feel rather frustrating as axe throwing its generally free at local events and we've never had an issue of the axes bouncing out the wood only to see how dull they were. I can really appreciate that they take full health and safety precautions for the axe throwing however, breathalising you before you go and having one person at a time in the cage which you then exit to allow the member of staff to collect the axes for the next person in your party. Also it had added fun of a scoring system so you were in competition with your friends. However I fear you'll likely miss hearing these rules as the music is so insanely loud that all you can hear is the music and everyone screaming at their friends to be heard. We didn't get food so I won't score them on that but I did get a coke that tasted like the pure syrup which was rather unpleasant. Staff are super friendly though even drawing a smiley face in a 0 for my mates axe throwing score to soften the blow. So I have been here twice now and both times it's been a very mixed extremly loud bag.

Connor was amazing and really attentive. A few delays with the bar but not at Connor’s fault he tried to keep the drinks flowing. Gold was great and the loaded chips - amazing.

We've been here twice and enjoyed it both times. Beer pong is definitely our favourite, and the mini golf is crazy. Drinks are tasty too. Update: additional games, classy revamp, lovely staff and upgraded drinks 💕💕

This is a really cool place. We went axe throwing, I watched, family played. After that we did crazier golf. Unfortunately one of our party fell over, and needed to go to hospital (she's on the mend now). Thank you to everyone who helped, including the customers who came to help too. When I asked for a first aider, she came along quickly. (The only problem we had other than the accident, was that the first staff member didn't ask for a first aider, I had to do that myself). Other than that, it was a lovely afternoon/evening out. I do recommend it, however be careful when playing crazier golf.

Went to play a round of crazier gold. Which certainty is crazy and quite fun to play. I found it was a little expensive with it taking 10 mins to get round it. Staff were friendly and was quick to serve. The drinks can be quite expensive but I feel with a stag or hen night it could be a really fun evening!

Had such an amazing night with friends here doing axe throwing, darts, and crazy golf. We had Becca as our host for axe throwing, and she was so funny and helpful—she definitely helped us relax our nerves and have fun during the experience! I cannot recommend her enough! I will say the golf was a little confusing to navigate with a large group, and despite the darts being advertised as group friendly, we didn't know we would end up having to be paired up, which meant some people didn't get as many turns as others. I also think the dart games were a little dull; we also were kind of rushed on time for our games but followed guidance on what times to book, so maybe that could be updated on the website? Overall, we still had a very good night and would likely come back again! :)

Came here with a group for brunch and can’t help but give a big thumbs up to all the staff being Alix and Terri who were constantly keeping our drinks topped up and also the kitchen staff Jack and becca creating the best food possible. One more thing to add on is how welcoming the place is as soon as I walked up the stairs with my group Jess and Micheal was there ready to get us seated and had the biggest smile on their faces ever. Had such a great time thank you to the team :)

It gets boring very quickly... the layout of the activities also doesn't feel right, very tight and awkward. All the female staff were lively and talkative, however the male staff were like moody teenagers, no energy, enthusiasm or smiles.

The staff, Lillie ,Terri,Britney and stacks were lovely and made sure we were okay and tendered to as much as they could making our experience amazing as our first time having the boom brunch , Thankyou so much :)

It's a fun place to go but we found the one in west orchards after was loads better. It takes at least 20 minutes to get drinks, this includes waiting to be served because there was usually only 1 person on the bar and it takes them so long to make the cocktails it put us off ordering them in the end. It means that when you want more drinks one your group is missing half a game because of how long it takes to get them, it's not worth the wait. I ordered food and was brought the wrong item, saying that's what I had ordered when it was clear they hadn't listened. The pool tables are in a really inconvenient place, trying to take your shot and people are pushing past to get to the bar, on the other side of the table you're in danger of hitting the people at tables behind you. If it was busier, I would've just given up playing. The crazy golf area is actually quite small, so it's alot of people crammed in to one space. The music was good and the staff were friendly, but the layout is unsuitable and the place needs organising better, if it was really busy the staff wouldn't cope.

Book a late staff xmas night out. Steve who helped to make the booking was super helpful! We booked a package deal which was brilliant! Axe Throwing was great we had Jessica and Weeze looking after us... super friendly and encouraged and helped us all with our techniques! We had hotdogs and fries, played beer pong and shuffleboard too. It was a Sunday night so pretty quiet but there was still a good atmosphere! Good selection of drinks! Thank you for a fab night!!

Great place for a fun night out

Came for some activities and Michael hosted a good few of them. Really made our night, fantastic service, genuinely friendly and so helpful. Good food and tasty cocktails. Bar team were fantastic, but Michael was a stand out. Thank you team Boom!

Fun place with a good variety of games and drinks, but it is way too loud, almost impossible to have a conversation.

My first time at this venue, met up with a few friends for some axe throwing and darts with a couple of drinks. The axe throwing was fun and Faith did an amazing job of showing us how to do it (it’s all in the technique). Safety brief was thorough and she kept us in check! The darts was a great laugh, give killer a go, it’s ruthless! Can’t comment on the food as we went elsewhere. But the staff were fantastic, very informative and helpful. Give it a go!
