Terrible food, everything was doused in salt, even the desserts. No wonder there was less than 10 people in there. Staff hovered around making sure you ate everything or they'd charge you for what you didn't (couldn't) eat. They'd also march up and down between the tables making you uncomfortable. I recommend you go somewhere else if you want a half decent dining experience

Couldnt get in for food. I'd been ringing for 2 weeks and no answer and then get there and told there fully booked but then get there and there empty. 😡😡😡😡😡

So decided to go in after reading reviews saying how good this place is honestly I wouldn't ever go again! I went for lunch buffet on a Saturday and there was limited starters. They had salt and pepper prawns it would have been great if they took the shell off and then battered it and cooked it what's the point of the batter as I like my prawns without the shell on!!! So couldn't really get to try the batter also the legs were still on the prawns seems like the chefs couldn't be asked to prep the prawns! The naan wasn't soft as it should be it tasted like cardboard the buffet tray was empty for the naan had to wait only to be disappointed. The curry's wasn't all that as well the Bombay potato had skin on tasted mediocre. They had live cooking for noodles but not a lot of variety of ingredients there was beef, chicken, Pak Choi, onions, bean sprouts, mushrooms and egg noodles or udon noodles to be honest the noodles was abit disappointing aswell in terms of taste their chilli sauce is siracha sauce no other flavours offered so abit of a let down only good thing was they had Chinese chilli oil which I haven't seen at other buffets apart from that no table service for drinks you have go to the bar and get drinks yourself and not very swift in taking away plates

The food was decent, with a mix of Western, Chinese, and Asian/Indian options. The staff were attentive and accommodating. We arrived at 2:30 PM on a Saturday, and while there was still food available, some food items were not replenished even though lunch service runs until 4 PM. I can understand if this happens closer to closing time, but with an hour and a half left, it would have been reasonable to expect refills.

The food was lovely lots of choice.

You need music here BonPan. Your stir fry is dry and the beef is hard. The lighting us nice but because of the absence of music this place feels too strange.

Came here for my sons 18th as he loves it. We prebooked as it was a Saturday but there was no queue when we arrived at 12.50 and they sat us straight away. The service was great. The staff very attentive to clearing tables and replenishing food. It wasn't too busy so it was easy to get to everything you wanted, although sometimes you have to wait for one of two people in front of you, but that's to be expected, especially with popular dishes. It can also be a bit noisy as it has a large, open plan seating area, but we were still able to hold conversations. Our only issue on this occasion was that a couple of the chillers weren't working so some desserts weren't available and a couple of people in our party are custard fans and this wasn't available unless you had it with banana in it. But otherwise we had a delicious and enjoyable meal.

An absolute joke! First of all, who has that type of puppets as receptionist! Very rude including the manager himself! Nobody would even look me in the eye! That says everything you need to know! Been waiting for half an hour in the queue for it to be open at 5pm, we were there with some family and friends with kids, then I get asked how many adults (I guess they weren’t happy of how many kids we had with us), and been told that there is no table available for us! We said we’ve been here before and were double the people than today, but still kept nodding that they can’t “accommodate” us! I challenged the receptionist who was super rude and cold, I asked If I came here by myself with my kids, would you let us in? She said “no”. What world are we living in! Discrimination on another level! They clearly were after full price adults rather than bunch of kids, I mean since when are kids not allowed to go to a restaurant! I tried to come to an agreement in many ways, to sit us all separate but they kept nodding no. Manager wouldn’t even have a conversation, whilst bunch of people walking in, with or without kids, so what’s the difference between them and us? We’re customers too? It’s not like you’re giving me free food! Never stepping there again and will take further action with the head office and merry hill manager! Thanks for nothing!

Me and my husband walked in and the staff were very rude on the reception, stating that they don’t have a table for 2. There’s ways of treating a customer but specially the redhead one, saying “We don’t have time for people like you”!!!!! How dare you! As far as I’m concerned the owners and the food of the restaurant is not English! Shame on you!

Everytime I've been here the meat has been undercooked. The chicken wings are red in the middle and it's not 'colour off the bone'. The chips were undercooked on our last visit and the 'English food' which is clearly just fried frozen food was dry and over done to the point it was almost stale. The pizza dough was undercooked and partially raw and oily. I won't be going here again, I don't expect 5* quality from a place like this but I expect to be able to eat safe food. The tables were dirty and for the price I'd expect better.

Foid was nice enough, the one young lady kept hovering overly obvious as we neared the end of a plate and took it as soon as we had last bit rather than wait till we got up for more etc. The food area was very linear and felt the same for each dish. Just a silver lid to lift up with a table on it.

What you expect from a buffet restaurant. Food is ok but not exceptional, with some dishes dried out. Service is decent.

This is a great place.... if you are meat and fish eaters but VERY, VERY limit choice for vegetarian or if you are Vegan only saw one choice. On our visit at lunch on the 4th of February 2025, the currys were just so watered down and simply awful. The Thai green vegetarian curry was just a bowl of slop with fat floating and inedible. The Bombay Aloo was hard new potatoes and, again, a very watered-down sauce, no doubt to save cost or absence of an Indian chef. If there had been more veggie options, it would have helped. Basically, for a veggie, it was rice, chips, pizza, and crispy seaweed that was available. But certainly, for me, being a vegetarian, I struggled to find it of any value, so I will give it a wide berth. For meat eaters on the Chinese food side, whilst done to a price, the people I was with enjoyed some of the chicken dishes and ribs. The place is huge, clean, and gets busy, but I will avoid and spend my money elsewhere.

I went in today 3rd Feb and i just want to express what a lovely young lady one member of staff was , her name is Tianna and ahe is a delight , she was workimg in the area that i was sitting in and ahe was so so pleasant and always smiley , she is a gentle soul with a gorgeous heart , so we'll done Tianna you deserve 10 out of 10 amd continue with the fantastic customer service care , you are a valued member of the team Cheryl x

It's always decent for the price. Never had any issues that would put me off so far. Foods replaced when empty and plates removed when finished.

After standing in the queue for 40 mins to be let in and told another 2 hours wait for food. No signs to state waiting times came all the way from to be shown the door what made it worse a walk in booking of 6 they was let straight in but a table of 4 2 hours wait SHOCKING EXPERIENCE ended up at ming moon in Wolverhampton lot better service and communication will not be returning to pan Asian. Staff definitely need some customer service training

Plenty of good, hot food available. Staff are polite and always on hand to help. Love their lining up system so getting into the setting is a breeze, whether you've booked or not. Clean, well maintained setting.

Needs more dairy free and vegan choices and less stuff contaminated but the food is beautiful, bit manic when it’s busy but alright!

perfect for all sort of cravings and occasions and will really satisfy your palate with the different food flavours. My family and friends enjoyed the food. the fresh noodle bar, cooked in front of you. definitely recommend.

I had a day out with my wife and kids and choose this place for lunch. there wasn't loads of food choices specially sea food. I had some pizza which I wish I never picked up the pizza base was literally uncooked dough. I have requested the manager and all I get is a replacement with a coled and very poor quality of pizza. I leave the picture to tell the story.

first visit today, had to queue to get in (about 10-15 mins), very busy and bit on noisy side, but thoroughly enjoyed it. Food was banging, tasty, and plenty of choice. Staff are very attentive and constantly clearing plates , cleaning and refilling food containers. will definitely be visiting again.

We waited in the queue with - 3 adults and two kids - for over 30min (the restaurant was not even half full) to be told that there were no tablets for 5 because "we already have enough pushchairs", we didn't have any pushchairs with us. Then we asked if we could have two tables instead. The answer was also no. Never again...

Had a lovely time here, food was nice and the staff were friendly.

Took over 20 minutes to get drinks, although there was 3 staff behind the counter, Food was very over salted, some of the meats were tough and over cooked, tried a selection of cake slices and the texture and taste was awful, tasted stale and not fresh, first trifle I tasted that didn't have any custard in it, the people filling up the food containers didn't look very happy. First and last time I visit here.

Great selection of food - Chinese, Italian, English, Japanese, Indian, stir-fry, teppanyaki etc; quick customer service, good selection of drinks (at the bar separate to fee)

Amazing food! Something for everyone. Chinese, curry, Thai, pizza. Purchase drinks separately at the bar. £2.50 for a large coke. Pudding included! Lacking some atmosphere, very bright and very big inside.

Went on a Friday evening. At least half of the containers were empty. The only ones that seemed to be topped up were the cheapest items like rice,chips and noodles. Not great value for £20.99. Won't be visiting again.

AVOID!! Went in with family and found a very long black hair in the brownie! Manager laughed about the matter when brought it to his attention! AVOID!

Food is quiet good - decent variety. Restaurant itself is pretty nice and well decorated. Staff are great - all enthusiastic and good at ensuring old plates are removed from tables and assisting. Only issue I had is there's now a 2 hour time limit (not sure when this came into place) but not ideal when you have people in your party who have disabilities so may take longer getting and eating food, using the facilities or just need to take things at a slower pace in general.

Nice place, delicious food, the only thing I didn't like was too much light. If the lights were dimmed a little in the hall, the atmosphere would be more comfortable.

I have been here a few times with friends and family, and have always enjoyed the Tasty, delicious food. So much choice and selection. Plenty of desserts for after. Definitely my go to place for food😊

Not in a rush to return, a staff member was unnecessarily abrupt when I mentioned not being able to see the ingredients on stuff due to allergens. Apparently there's notices everywhere I wasn't aware nor did I see them, whilst this may be correct, her tone left a bad impression

This was the worst buffet I’ve ever experienced. The food had a terrible smell, and the options were bland and boring. The atmosphere was uncomfortable, and there were far too many chavs. I was surprised to find that drinks cost extra. While the decor might look nice, it’s as deceptive as Sauron.

Really enjoyed our time here. The staff a very friendly and efficient. The food is well labelled for dietary needs and it tastes fresh. They are on their game with keeping the tables clean and free of used plates. My only improvement would be the bar area. It's very small for the amount of people the venue seats. But they still get through the queue quickly. Great value for money. Would advise booking as they get really busy.

Nice food, sitting space is large, Chinese, Indian, and South East Asian foods can be selected. The price is reasonable £14.99 for adult. I recommend to try.

Visited today for my birthday meal and have to say it’s not good at all unsafe food practices were they leave tubs of calamari on the side in the heat in stead of in a fish fridge and also serve pink raw chicken then argue with you that it safe to eat the staff are rude and walk backwards in to children resulting in my girlfriends son’s hoodie been covered in chocolate as the server knocked his plate out of his hands and as this wasn’t bad enough the staff think it’s ok to take the piss out of people behind the bar thinking you can’t hear them this includes the manager they really should be ashamed of themselves do not recommend

All you can eat buffet with a huge variety of foods. Never needed to book reservation as the place has loads of seating. Prices are very good and the staff are helpful.

What can I say. A nice pleasant environment with good lighting and decor " it reminds me of the style of decorating from the art deco period of the 1920". There's also toilets very clean and tidy, which is at the back of the premises as you come through. The toilets are very nicely decorated same " art deco style" to me , and they smell fresh no sent of urine. I think that there is a disabled toilet facility's too. The placement of the tables and chairs, not to close together but comfortable with plenty of room for you to move around. Space enough for a family getogether's and for mother's to bring in there prams and babies. As you come through, on your right the premises have a large bar, and they can mix and make any cocktails or drinks that you want, from a very large selection of alcoholic drinks, and also you can have beers if you don't want any of the fancy cocktails or drinks " if you're driving they have non alcoholic drinks, beers and pop too" . Access for wheelchair users I think might be difficult but not impossible. It's getting up to and in ,It's coming up from the lower floors too the first floor, "I think their is a lift " but you would have to travel at least fifty metres turning left if you're coming in from Asda's, then write , to get to it. But the best way to get in , is to come in at the level from the car park coming in from the bridge straight into merry hill " intu" that's the fancy name. As you come in across the bright from the car park and I think you go through the electronic double doors maybe manual, cannot remember which one. You come straight into merry hill sight it self, the restaurant is on your left, turn left around the glass facades " you will be able to look into the restaurant" , and go through the glass double doors "not automatic " . Go to the receptionist pay your fee, for me it was £15.00 and go in you will be checked/ greeted buy one of the staff "that you have a ticket " that you got from the receptionist". Make your way to a table and then from the large buffet, you choose what you want . Which is a very large selection, from European, Chinese, Indian etc ,didn't see everything too many choices to choose from, and eat as much as you like , " I could only manage one sitting plus pudding myself" . But too try them all you would have to go multiple times ! . If you're going You must get there before 3PM or 3.30 PM not sure because they will shut down and clean up and reset and get read for the evening shift which. I think it starts at 5PM or 6PM not sure, and i think that they shut down for the day for 12AM. So if you're going in the afternoon try to get thier for at least 11AM to 12PM. But it's always best to ring first and find out how everything " the times " is before you go ! . Overall a very nice place for a meal if you don't want a sandwich or a cup of tea or coffee. If you want a meal or you want to go with a friend or family, this is the place to go.

We often go here, for special occasions. As far as buffets go, this is the best way to sample both sides of Asian

Nice and clean to be honest saying, the Food was tasty either.

Took my husband for his birthday Oct 8th. The drink tasted like it was watered down. The garlic bread was hard and dry. Pizzas were cold hard and the salami on top was all dry and curled up. I was not impressed as it was 30 minutes drive for us. I contacted them and never even got a reply. The receipt hadn't got the date on but luckily I paid by card so could see it on my bank transaction. What a sham!!!

Overall good vibes but need to clear tables a little bit quicker as we had a table of 20 people

Been wanting to go for a long time now, queue always seems very long, however we got to merryhill at 4.30 without planning on going there and decided to wait for the doors to open. We were front of the no reservation queue and actually although the wait the both queues, were welcomed and seated very quickly. Next time I don’t think there will be need to jump into the queue and wait as it seems that there was no need, plenty of seating inside which was a surprise. There was also a large group of 17 seated, which makes me think it’s something that we as a family could book for a special occasion as they are well equipped to cater for large groups. Food was all very fresh and tasty, so much choice and great value for money. I felt bad for the staff for some reason as they were all so friendly and constantly working hard to clear used plates etc from peoples tables, would be nice if there was a way to tip them. Buffet style is not to everyone’s taste, it’s very much like a luxury all inclusive holiday, we love it as a family with young children as there is a good variety and quick service so no waiting around for food to be served. Will be returning in the future!

Came to the merry hill branch after normally going to the stoke branch, and can say it's just as good. The food is on point and What I expected with a nice variety of dishes To pick and mix, making a unique plate every time you go up for a plate.

It's OK, let's be honest it's like any other buffet. But with the size of this place it also feels like a factory.

The quality of the food has gone down massively since it opened. It's all just too dry. The puddings always look like they have been there for a week. The service is good and it's clean but that's about it. It's cheap but just pay the extra and go to Saphari or Cosmos
