Placed a large order with restaurant for delivery due to a special occasion. Order came to over £60. Children's meal and 1 starter missing. Phoned restaurant to notify and was told "really busy, unable to rectify order. Will knock off next order". Not good enough. Will most certainly never order again!!!

Haven’t been since moving away 3 years ago. It was good when we left and wasn’t disappointed with last nights meal. Fantastic curry as always, won’t leave it as long to come back again.

A catch up evening with family, a take away was decided on for dinner. We had eaten at the restaurant before but it was our first take away and we weren’t disappointed, good food, good price and good delivery.

Today has been our first meal out at Bombay Hut, we had quiet day for Christmas Day and decided on a family meal out on Boxing Day. The food was amazing, the place felt so comfortable it was as if we were at home, the staff were attentive but not to much and they made sure we all ordered exactly what we wanted. Highly recommend Bombay Hut and will visit again.

Took an hour and 40 minutes for delivery after 2 phone calls to find out where our order was to be presented with dried up , inedible food which went in the bin......... would not recommend which is a shame as we have used this takeaway before with no problems .

This place does really authentic Indian Home cooked food. The restaurant is a bit out of town but once youve found it you will come again. Takeaway meal for two is enormous and really good value and just SO tasty. Well done everybody - top marks.

Always on time,, always hot and tasty

Took five friends on a sunday evening to the bombay hut,burnley.As i had eaten there before, i knew they would not be disappointed.We all took our own drinks as the restaurant is not licensed to sell alcohol,but they do serve soft drinks.The restaurant is spacious but cosy and warm and the staff are very welcoming.All seven of us each ordered different dishes,and everyone of us said the food was excellent and how generous the portions were.The waiter was very attentive and nothing was too much trouble for him.The food is reasonably priced and good value for money.The whole evening was very enjoyable and we would all certainly eat there again,

We had our first takeaway from Bombay Hut on Saturday....it won’t be our last! We ordered on line, great service and such a lovely meal...one of the best Indian takeaways we have had in a long time! Highly recommend this little gem!

I ordered a chicken jalfrezi curry a mixed Donner kebab chicken and chips i got charged £20.60 the chicken in the curry was like grissle the onions was sliced massive I asked for no tomatoes it was full of them the kebab came with no Donner meat just chicken and shikh it was minging I didn't even let my daughter eat it on the receipt it said £14 but was crossed out and replaced with £20.60 when I called back they said it was the right price what a rip off

ordered food just before the restaurant was due to shut. The food came piping hot (the hottest I’ve ever had from a takeout) & tasted amazing. The delivery driver was also very enthusiastic which was nice. Amazing service & food. recommend massively.

food was delicious m, hot and fresh. only thing was we ordered popadoms and expected chutneys and dips but did not receive. might be a nice touch.

First time of ordering from here and will be our last. Delivery time spot on but rice dry, chicken chewy and sauce bland. Do not waste your money- much better curry houses out there.

I have never ever ever seen a chicken tikka masala cooked in pure red paste in my life, very flavourless an bland, rice was way to sweet for a pilau rice, kebabs where tasteless aswell, saag an allo where on the even sweeter side no taste unbelievably. roti was ok an nans unfortunately wasn’t touched as nobody ate anything unfortunately i had to order from somewhere else due to nobody eating it an my guests dredging the experience. the food is far from traditional an im sorry about the review guy’s

Food came and was the wrong curry when I rang up to tell them was told I would have to pay again if i wanted them to bring it so had to eat whatever curry it was they gave me as I was not going to pay for something that I had already orderd and payed for wasn't a bad curry but was not wot wed asked for so will not be ordering from here again

was absolutely delicious but very very greasy...will Deffo order again though :)

Starters were good and good value too. My main course, the Chicken Sri Lanka, was described as a madras with coconut but it was way hotter than any madras I’d ever had before and therefore not a dish I would have again. The meat was nice, however, so I will be trying something else next time.

I LOVE their tandoori chicken and kebabs. And the Naan ruti is soon soft to eat. A great experience to me. They also have takeaway service.

The food was piping hot. Loved it. Not cheap Popadoms like you usually get elsewhere, thick and crispy. The Garlic Mushroom Puri, I could've ate that 10 times over it was delicious. South Indian Garlic Chicken was very tasty. Could taste the chicken as well as the spices not over powering. The heat was just spot on and I liked the chunky chillis. Will definitely order again or pop down Rose Grove with a few beers and dine in ...

Good food, lots of choice with good sized portions. Would order again next time we fancy a curry.

Onion bargees were nice the kebab was nice...the chicken samba was rubbish just one concistency to the sauce it was like mush just like the rest of the currys i have had wich was 2 before this...will not be ordering again.

Thought we would give it a try and was not disappointed we had the kofta and the bombay dry fry and WOW will be ordering again for sure 👌👌👌👌👌

I requested a time as I was at university An it was delivered on the exact time. The only let down was the curry was meant to be chicken but found something else init that I don’t know what it was. wouldn’t order this curry again but would try a different one. the starters were ok except the cheese in the sheek kebabs 😊

The food was perfect . Excellent value for money. We took our own drinks and had a lovely meal so a cheap night out . The service was great . I cannot fault anything. I’ve had the takeaways lots and always been happy but this meal was special and I cannot wait to go again.

We have had food from this restaurant over three years. Always good and delivery in good time. We have not eaten in the restaurant. The prices are fair and comparable with other Indian takeaways!

We visited the 'Bombay Hut' this evening there were 18 of us in total. The service was fantastic, the food just so fresh and tasty served lovely and hot! The staff were so friendly and helpful they couldnt do enough for us... we ll definitely be back soon! Thanks for a lovely evening 'Bombay Hut'! x

Food was lovely, fresh and hot, kebabs were a good size, the only thing I would pick at was I ordered chicken tikka and chips thinking it would be chips in a sauce and it was just dry chicken and dry chips but would order again :)

We are curry lover’s and used get our takeaways from the Bombay hut, but after a while they started to taste bland. After hearing they had a new chef we tried them again and wow !! I have to say the food has improved massively. Even the breads were fresh. it was the best take away curry I have had in the last couple of years, and we will be back again next weekend !!!

Delicious food and percectly hot on delivery. I thoroughly enjoyed everything and will use Bombay Hut again in the future.

Food was nice, fast delivery but I have one complaint, the balti, although tasty, was hotter than any balti I've had before. I'm not a lover of hot food and have balti's coz they are just right for me. So this being the case it spoiled it for me as it was just to hot.

kebab sandwiches were great as always. But very disappointed with the garlic king prawn puri, got 4 very small pieces of prawn for £4.95. Won’t order it again.

We had an excellent take away from here. It was fresh , tasty and was great value. We were given free Bhaji s for spending over £15. The manager was very friendly and showed us the new restaurant which was under renovation . Can’t wait to go back

Very disappointed, although the food arrived earlier than stated. There was enough to feed a child and it wasn't the best quality. Will not go again

I've been going to the Bombay Hut for a few years with no complaints,excellent food,but a new owner took it over earlier this year & since then it's gone downhill.Wrong orders,never ready on time when collecting,the food is not as good,greasy & smaller portions.The prices have gone up & a similar order week to week variety by £2-£3!

Worst lamb kahrai ive had by far!

It tasted like yesterday's food warmed up, and they sent the wrong curry! In 35 years of eating curry, that was one of the worst, never again.

The Jalfresi and Korma was nice, the chicken was a little dry but all piping hot. The rice was a little cool but ok. The delivery was 15 mins late but the app did warn me it would be 5 mins late.

Delivered 30minutes before we requested it. What's the point in having delivery slots if they don't stick to them

Big order placed £22, Lovely food , will def reorder again. Just as a suggestion I feel they could have give more than 2 free poppadoms (5 of us) and maybe a free bottle of pop like other restaurants do after spending over £20. Thank you

Fantastic delivery time... Nice delivery guy... However... We received a tiny amount of chicken in two dishes and what was present was very dry and tough and was soapy tasting in both dishes... To add to this the meals were flat and lacking any flavour. This place used to be amazing. I see it's now under new management. Not a patch on the previous sorry guys but what a waste of money as both dishes went in the bin due to the fear of chemicals/washing up liquid etc. No offer of a refund or another set of meals when we contacted the restaurant but instead a discount or a freebie on the next order, which won't be happening. Might just be a one off but not taking any chances it's too expensive to.

The starters were rock hard and the curries had an overload of sweetcorn and tomatoes. Not for me unfortunately.

Chicken Tikka Masala needs boosting a little tasted like a red korma so was disappointed, but the rest of the food was great.

Have you changed chef????? You need to get the old one back. Our food arrived on time half an hour ago. It was cold and had to be heated up. The starter was ok, but not your best. We ordered chicken tikka masala. We were given two pink kormas. There is no way that what was delivered could be called a masala. The chicken was dry, the sauce was coconut and nothing else. It was inedible. I asked for well cooked and crispy chips, I got under cooked soggy chips, again inedible. I ate the chicken because I was starving and was not prepared to wait another hour for more food. My husband didn't eat any of the main because of how bad it was. We love the masala from here and the food you sent us today was fit for the bin only I am afraid. That was a big waste of our money and will not be ordering again if that is now your standard of food. Sorry. Such a shame.

Arrived late prawn cocktail was warm due to the food being put onto hot food so the prawn sauce was warm and like water

We normally love this place but this eve they really let themselves down food was greasy bread was dry chips were burned really not happy tonight will be calling tomorrow with a complaint 😩

Terrible ... I also left a note on the order to say last weeks order was very English, no heat no spice (could I have my kori Asian style). It's not even got any chilli in it. Your meant to at least see chilly in the dish. Mushroom started terrible to (taste of plastic). Have you a new chef? If so fire him ....... grrrr

I ordered a lamb Afghanistan style and got chicken Our meal was over an hour late This is the 3rd time I have had chicken delivered when I order lamb Not a happy customer

we have not used Bombay Hut for some time as we felt the standard of food had slipped, however after tonights takeaway we will be back, food extremely tasty, excellent.

Ordered mushroom bhaji received mushroom rice instead. So instead of having a starter an a main course I had just a main course and two portions of rice.

one of the best takeaways in Burnley, always deliver a lot quicker than the estimated time. Food always tastes great and really fresh, never been disappointed with an order from Bombay hut. Customer service is also brilliant, they go the extra mile for their customers always.
