Bollini's Alva in Clackmannanshire

I asked for 4 suppers and one bag of chips . I walked in and asked how long it would after I paid almost £40 was told ten mins fine. When I came back 10 mins later the food was not ready fine. I waited and saw they had a box where they keep the fish etc fine . One had cheese on it so they put cheese on and then informed me I now had to wait for chips for the others ? With melting cheese on the one they had made up they put back in the box with the fish again I said can I get a new one then ? They girl looked surprised as one person was going to get soggy chips potentially cold soggy chips ... anyway I was told the chips would be a while. And they looked very unhappy I wanted a new one they took the Sausages out the box and put them back in and left the chips out in the box as the lady frying said its just chips. Anyway i am sure we were given old chips in response as they came almost instantly service was super poor ... now family have sore tummy's all for £40 thanks Bolinis you know how to treat people. I would strongly avoid this place i or my family will will never eat from here again ...

so crap i ordered steak pie it was so small and there was a hair in my food don't go here if you want a steak pie it is the size of a can of juice

SHOCKING Over 2.5 hours to wait on food that was ordered,giving 2 separate times when ordered through just eat none of them times were met,now 8pm and I'm still waiting even after I have phoned the restaurant,when the food arrived it was cold and looked like it had been just thrown in,won't be back that's for sure ,food of poor quality and customer service non existent

Has to be one of the best takeaways for pizza in Clackmannanshire. Great prices, fully loaded, Italian tasting pizzas.

I placed an order at 5.52 online and was given a delivery time of 6.00 . At 6.05 I phoned and was told they were waiting on the driver. I walked into the shop at 6.20 and the driver was about to leave but minus my order . I was told they only have 1 driver , so why take so many orders? Not one word of apology, and I had to ask for my delivery charge back. . Dreadful service.

Fish was very tasty and lightly battered - perfectly cooked. Sausages were good and chips were great! Reading other reviews it seems the main problem is with delivery. I ordered online then collected myself, but easy enough to go in and just order to take out. Very clean place. Staff very pleasant and helpful. We will definitely order food again from Bollinis in Alva !

I ordered on the app round 3:30ish (pre-order) and it said that they got it, the delivery was supposed to be here around 4:40pm and i have been sitting for over 40 mins waiting on my food, i phoned up and they said that they got the order at 4:45 and they are making it now (17:25pm)

I just got a hamburger supper from there. Absolutely disgusting. Grease running out of the box. We tried patting the food dry with kitchen paper because we were hungry. We both managed a couple of bites before feeling sick. I called the shop and at first they said they would send out another, I said no and was told I could have the money back, they then changed their mind and just offered another hamburger. I said no thanks. I wont go back there again.

After one & a half hours wait I checked if the order had been received & shop said it would be sent out by the next delivery person (they only had one). After another forty minutes, still now sign of our order! We called them to just cancel it & the girl replied “OK” & hung up. Second time using this takeaway, sadly it’ll be our last. The delivery girl has literally just turned up as I’m writing this, 2 hours 20mins…… One positive though, at least she apologised about the time it took!!!!!!

Waited 1hr and 40mins for delivery,I live 2 miles away! Chips were disgusting, end of the night,more crispy bits than chips,grey in colour🤢 Pizza cold hardly any toppings😐

Probably one of the worst chip shop meals I’ve had in a long time. Batter was so chewy and hard. I could barely eat my pizza crunch. Staff aren’t particularly friendly. Customers trying to do a good deed supporting local but I’d have rather gone to dominos.

On Facebook this was given 5 stars so we were really looking forward to eating our takeaway. It was revolting, batter was chewy wich meant onion rings were inedible. Thankfully we ordered battered sausages and when the batter was removed it was just edible, Id give them 2/5 for the chips. If you're reading this do yourself a favour and find somewhere else to go.

We live 5 minutes from the restaurant however took almost 3 hours. Manager not interested, he wouldn't offer a refund even though the food wasn't delivered.

I had the Haggis my wife had the Black Pudding. Both puddings were very very rubbery so were the chips. We visited at 4.30 and the Haggis and Black pudding were ready in the over head warming cabinet. We’re they fresh I ask myself. Anyway I would not repeat the experience.

Ordered food for delivery last night. It was late by a half an our to start with which in these times is acceptable. I might have been the last to receive our order on the delivery run as the food was not hot, warm, a better description. Having to re-heat food especially fish is not a good tasty idea. Certainly, have had better chip shop food from elsewhere as the whole order was average in taste. Doubt, if I will return.

Just had a Chip-steak supper and Black pudding supper They were both really tasty and hot Top marks well done

Local to our holiday apartment, we tried this restaurant/takeaway for our pizzas one night. It's very clean and judging by the amount of locals using the place whilst we waited, their fish and chips were very good. Our pizzas were very well filled, certainly more so than we expected.
