Bok Bok in Wakefield

Wow delicious food , a hidden gem in Horbury. Can't wait till I can come again. I have been passing this place for weeks on my way to and from work!

The food was the worst I have tasted. It arrived cold ,the chicken fried rice was lumpy, the stir fry was flavourless. I messaged them, no interest.

I know it’s changed it’s name recently but this is the 2d time we have had a takeaway and will be the last. Such a shame as the first time was fabulous. Tonight noodles swimming in oil, all mains were very very sweet and never seen a chilli in their life and sod all meat in each dish. Very disappointed to say the least and we won’t be ordering again

We ordered a takeaway from Bok Bok for the first time last night and loved it . We ordered Crispy Wontons and Prawns in batter which were both nice. We had three mains, prawn Pad Prik Gang, Chicken Pad Ga Prao & chicken Pad Nam Prik Pao. All the dishes had lots of flavour and cooked well, we will definitely be returning. My only criticism is the Pad Ga Prao which is my favourite Thai dish needed more chilli and more Thai Holy Basil. Bok Bok is a little hidden gem and well worth ordering for authentic Thai food.

Ordered the spicy ribs, red Thai curry and the pork rice, all excellent with speedy delivery - recommended

We shared a Larb Gai (spicy minced chicken salad) which we asked for Thai spicy and it was very nice (although small) to be fair. The two mains were bland with the noodle dish just stodge. Overall, the food was a huge disappointment and expensive. Our first takeaway when Bok Bok first opened was superb but this is the second really poor one we've had...there will not be a third!

Just by the bridge in Horbury Bridge is this cafe. There’s plenty of parking. Despite being essentially a large hut it is cosy inside. The menu is extensive and very reasonably priced. The staff are friendly. Our food arrived swiftly and was good. A good place to stop for lunch.

Popped in for a full English after dropping off the jam jar for a mini-valet at the local car wash. I have say it was really nice, the eating area was nice and clean, food was spot on, the service was polite and helpful. The breakfast came came out without any delay. I’ll be popping in again - as far as breakfasts go they don’t get much better than this!

New (ish) Thai home delivery service. I wanted a quick Thai tea delivered, so ordered the simple Pad Thai. The veg was well cooked, but very bland. No seasoning, no flavour, no kick. Not like Pad Thai at all. I had to raid my cupboard to get it tasting right. No reason that this popular and well known Thai dish should be poor like this. You’ve better Thai options locally.

Great take away last night. Everything well cooked & presented with a good delivery service. Only one small problem. Can you number the cartons next time. It would sure make sorting out who ordered what easier.

First order from Bok Bok and very impressed, delicious food and accommodated dietary needs. Delivery on time and very courteous. Thank you. First but not last order!

This is the second occasion that I have had food from here but it will definitely be the last. I ordered a chicken Pad Thai which was, without doubt,the worse chicken Pad Thai I have ever eaten. A sticky, gloopy box of tasteless disappointment.

On arrival it’s a small shack but sit down relax have a drink ###### from start to finish Food fantastic service fantastic thanks to all staff especially the cooks ...

Love Thai food, used to get takeaways from Malagor in Ossett but resented how expensive it was for a Takaway. Bok Bok isn't quite as good but can be not far off, a little cheaper (still a bit over priced imo). I've had 4 Takaways from here and they've varied from very good to a bit blah. I feel the last 2 haven't been as good as the first. The pad Thai is great but the green curry is a bit bland and last night tasted more like cream. The soups I've tasted have been fantastic. I'll definitely go there again but I really hope they keep their standards up and don't let it slide.

Ordered this on a Friday night at 7pm and it arrived about 7.30, no time at all. Friendly and polite delivery driver / staff on the phone. The food was really nice, good value and decent sized portions. It all arrived in good quality packaging and was piping hot, having been transported in an insulated bag (like Deliveroo bags). The only reason I'd give 4 stars instead of 5 is because the red curry sauce was very runny like a watery soup, but it still tasted good and perhaps it's just personal preference. Will definitely order from there again and I hope as a new restaurant it does well!

We called in on the off chance as we were passing. Very pleasantly surprised.
