Donner Meat was like chewing cardboard

First time order and it was beautiful! The meat is ‘real’ and fresh and like it was just pulled from a fresh cooked chicken.

Rubbish food order on phone paid by card was ripped off charged £32 but order was only £21 on just eat with delivery made BS excuse for extra charge avoid at all cost rubbish rip off, if you order online with company supposed to be cheaper than going with just eat that was not the case been ripped off

Terrible food kebab was like boot leather left it out for the vermin even the rats turned there nose up at it, pizza was terrible oil dripping off out the box and cheese slide off never again “2 seconds buddy”

Kebab was so dry and tasteless won’t be ordering again

Used this takeaway on & off for many years, sometimes good, sometimes not so good. Tonight I ordered a chicken tikka kebab on naan bread and a kebab meat wrap with chips. Food tasted deliciously freshly cooked and piping hot. Arrived in good time. Thumbs up 👍

Ordered from here at work for a co-worker last night shift. Firstly, they sent a chicken burger cause it was late at night, so I didn't want to cook a cheese burger yet charged the same price. Secondly, they must have been half a pot of salt on the food. The garlic bread wasn't cooked. And the cheese pizza was tastless. Needless to say, I won't be ordering from here again

The food was early which is always a good thing but both pizzas came under cooked with hardly and topping on, and Luke warm the chips were full of grease and tasted funny, not tasted oil like that before so don't know what it was, I rang up to ask if they could send another pizza out as we'd not touched the ones we had he said because I ordered from just eat to sort it through them and hung up on me, I rang back and the guy said we've never had complaints about our pizzas, and did eventually offer to send another pizza, when the delivery guy come to drop another pizza off he even said people always complain and said they've been busy tonight, and he was sorry, first time ordering from here and it wasn't a nice experience or nice how they dealt with it, it's not giving me the option to get my money back on this order, it's saying to ring the restaurant 😂 well that didn't work lol

Got part wrong order phone takeaway said that they will sort it out. I didn't think that they will come back to sort it out as I live far from takeaway. But they came back with the full meal again Meal was £30 so ended up with £60 of food

Ruined my meal. Delivered the wrong main, everything else went cold. I’d poured curry on to chips before realising it was the ring curry. No replacement chips either. Poor. Won’t order here again.

I left a note on the order telling them where my house was and left a phone number, the driver didn’t even attempt to deliver it before going back to the takeaway. Eventually the food came 30 minutes late but I had to wait on the main road for it. The pizza and chips were cold. The Best value for money I got out of my meal was the cans of Pepsi

Used to be my favourite takeaway, would order every week. Tried calling this evening to make an order, ended up cancelling our order before even finishing reeling it off the phone. Guy on the phone even started to talk over me whilst I was trying to place the order. When we carried on reading he started expressing how the order may take 30-40 minutes before ready to collect. We agreed that would be more than fine, to which he then said it could take potentially an hour; clearly trying to avoid us going through with the order. Poor customer service skills and blatant rude behaviour has left a horrid final impression of this takeaway. A clear change of hands has ruined this place will never be returning nor should you.

I ordered some food and my pizza came back Burnt also it came a hour early which was freezing,for when I came back from work so the delivery driver said the next meal I ordered I could have it free because they messed it up,today I was going to get a pizza for free as the delivery driver said and they said a portion of chips and I had to pay for delivery also the man was rude on the phone.

From my favourite takeaway to the worst in Horbury. I would avoid this place as it has gone down hill, my last two orders have been terrible, my pizza was delivered raw, the dough was uncooked and literally could be used as play dough, and the cheese wasn't even fully melted. The garlic bread had to taste of garlic to it but it used to have big chunks of it on. The food was delivered promptly, 20 minutes early in fact but clearly my pizza could of done with that time in the oven. The food could of made me ill on two occasions now. Its really no good. Delivery man is lovely, please don't give him stick.

I do rate Spice King in general but there was a missing ingredient (chillies) on my 'create your own' pizza. A substitute of something spicy would have sufficed or some sort of compensation of price or a complimentary item would be have been fair having paid full price. The pizza was otherwise good quality with nice stuffed crust - (which I paid extra for) and the curry lovely as always.

Waited nearly 2 hours for my pizza for them to send me wrong one said they would change it waited another 2 hours no food 😡 absolutely poor service will not be ordering again !!!!!!!

Delivered quite late on this occasion but I think it might be the first time this has happened. We do love Spice King and the food was great and the driver apologetic. Worth the wait.

Absolutely appalling service! Rude customer service by 2 people over the phone, told me my order was on its way, tried to explain it was for collection but he put the phone down, then told my order had been cancelled and to order somewhere else. Have never had a problem in the past but today has really put me off and will never order from there again!

Doesn't matter that it was 10 minutes late it was absolutely delicious, loads of food. will deffo order again.

Maybe it's the 'Just Eat, order! 2 x Mint Sauce. @1..00 1 x Peshawari Nan. @ 2.50 Saag Allo @5.50 3 Chapatis @ 1.50 I was charged £13.50. I rang to amend,clarify the order after delivery.The person I spoke with couldn't care less and he even said that my order was inccrect,although I had the 'Just Eat,'reciept when I was speaking with him! Absolutely shocking customer relations and Please be aware re : Wakefield Metropolitan District Council Hygiene rating 5th September 2019 3 Out of 1_5,.
