Best Chinese we have been too. Well priced and large portions.

Called today for a Chinese takeaway if I carried on with the order I would need to wait 4 hours for it to be cooked. The laugh was in them I phoned the golden dragon in diss had to wait 1i utes for it.and it was delicious. Suggest everyone goes to the golden dragon in diss much bettesrvice

Disappointed. Service is great, lovely front of house staff. It all fell down with the food. Ordered Singapore Chow Mein. No idea what I unwrapped at home but on the plus side it had noodles. Beef and Broccoli was very salty and the sauce almost slimy. Seems like someone went over the top with the MSG and Cornflour. Vegetable Chow Mein was the same. I don't think I'll be rushing back, the food has gone way downhill since my first meal from them 2 years ago. I meant it about the staff though. Lovely service.

We have been using thus chinese as a family for the past 15 years or more and it has always been lovely. That is until recently, the food is now bland and no where near as nice as it was in the past. We won't be returning in a hurry.

Sorry to say the most bland uninteresting Chinese I have ever had, lots of processed meat and the prawns were sandwich prawns. Not. A kpt in sight. This was our third visit and last.!

I've been around quite a few Chinese's and I've got to say no other Chinese come close to Blue orchid. Consistently amazing food which is reasonably priced.

Lovely people, but order was lacking/wrong. Flavour was average. Chicken satay meat texture was rather odd.

Only ordered take out here once, but the take out we got was definitely worth comming back for. Best chicken satai I have had so far. It is small, cozy and has nice staff.

Great food served here. Almost at the top of the village hill, this unassuming takeaway draws customers from an extensive rural hinterland. For a Friday night feast - where the spare ribs are meaty and the duck in plum sauce delicious- well worth seeking out. The set meals for two are drawn from. A variety of traditional dishes and the portion size does not disappoint. We were hungry on the occasion of our last visit - we enjoyed it...

Tasty food, friendly and efficient service. We've been ordering from here for the past year and never had any issues. It is collection only but if you stick to the time agreed over the phone then there's never much of a wait. Mid range prices for good quality food, definitely worth it. Would recommend.

Friendly and efficient service. We bought a range of dishes for our family of five. The general consensus of the family is that this was one of the best Chinese takeaways we have ever had. The food is slightly on the pricey side but fresh tasting so arguably worth the extra spend. Thank you very much. I would highly recommend this takeaway and wish them all the very best.

Nice food but too pricey! Could learn from other takeaways and give FREE prawns crackers for every order not as if they cost much is it...... every little helps 😉

Have used this take out in the past and thought it was quite good despite being quite expensive. However, we ordered two different meals and we were both of the same opinion that it was bland and lacking taste. My rice dish was over £6 and I expected a long carton for that price. The prices are way over what they should be. My bill came to over £26 for two meals where others would charge £21/£22.

It was open, til late, on New years day, when others locally were closing early.

Always the same, excellent food. Can't be beaten in my opinion. Nice, friendly, very efficient guy there too serving. Excellent all round! Thank you for feeding me again.

The Blue Orchid, was always the best Chinese takeaway around here. Then it changed hands and the quality deteriorated. So we went elsewhere. The Chinese we were using was shut today so we went back to The blue orchid. So glad we did, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal, and will definitely be returning for more.
