Cheap, and kind of geriatric? Not a pub for me, but I guess some like the wibe - quite a lot of visitors shortly before closing time. The staff was nice.

Great to have Aussie White's back at the Blob Shop. Only downside, it's no longer the spit and sawdust place of old, a bit posh these days; the friendly atmosphere hasn't change though.

Most expensive glass of wine av had in Liverpool all week, even dearer than the adelphi hotel.... my large white was 7.19 and my husbandz lge shiraz was 8.29....we nearly chocked on it.... Been paying 5pds a lge glass on average... Defo wont be back lots of nicer pubs in Liverpool!!!!!

Went in on Tuesday for the quiz. Was served by a brown haired girl named emily. She was very efficient and nice with her service and the quiz was super fun

Not been here for a very long time! To be honest we only went in to escape the rain! What a surprise, nice place with a great atmosphere, with karaoke happening, has to be the cheapest bar on Charlotte Street! We had a great time and it will now be a regular when we're back.

Always pop in here for a few .. meet a few characters in here but all good ... and drinks are cheap so happy days

First time in a Blob Shop bar for 40 years. A lot more refined than in those days and very pleased with the prices. The cheapest bar we've found in Liverpool for our regular drinks 🍻 Perfect 👍

One of the best bars in Liverpool. Full of interesting characters and great value for money. If only all pubs could be like the blob.

What a dump the toilet was STINKING the smell made me heave and one of the staff a young man in a sweat stained t-shirt was pulling a pint with one hand and PICKING HIS NOSE with the other in front of the customers the other 2 barmen spent most of the time running their fingers through their hair and scratching their head appaling behaviour in front of paying customers the management are totally to blame because they enployed them and are happy to let them behave in this way i will NOT be going back

I can recommend it, it was comfortable to sit in and the beer was cheap.

been going in the blob shop for many years. the Aussy White is back in serculasion. not had it anywhere since last year.

Fake price at the door i saw Carling on sign 2.19 but thet lady charged me £3

We called in thinking they served food, me and a friend went to sit down and look at a menu, her boyfriend had put money in the machine whilst we were looking but we found out there was no food. Her boyfriend asked the bar lady if they served food, she replied with no, and then said get off the machine if you are not buying a drink. We would have been buying drinks if they served food this was not our fault. Next we were greeted with a bar manager lady or landlady with an attitude problem who said get off the machine or i will switch it off you cant play it if you dont buy a drink. To which I replied we asked about food but you do not serve it we were going to have drinks with food. She said again he needs to get off machine. Out of all the stonegate premmises I have visited, the attitude of the staff at this one was disgusting. I have worked and run pubs for 30 years and never came accross anything like this. Avoid avoid avoid ! No food served here, so be aware dont put a penny in the machine unless you are buying a drink as they will threaten to switch it off, not a pleasant visit.

Love it, go here with me bird she’s fit drinks are cheap. Good atmosphere. Put a coaster over ye pint to not get ye chair robbed. Decent place 10/10 best place I’ve been.

Haven't been in here for years. Great atmosphere as always. Treated the wife to a large Aussie white much to her dismay. Wife commented that the toilets were "spotless"

Cheap good quality ale and for that neighborhood quiet I e no LOUD music. It's the only pub in that street you can hear you're own conversation!!! ..... Recommended

Very reasonable prices carlsberg £2 50 a pint good atmosphere friendly nice pub well worth a visit bar staff friendly especially manageress who had trouble understanding my Scottish accent and my partial teeth dentures lots of entertainment in evenings good prices considering nearby pubs are quite expensive very good pub I do recommend
