Friendly service, and the amuse bouche cocktail was nice. Interior design was nice with a pub atmosphere. However our drinks were just not nice and not really drinkable, strange chemically taste.

Lovely service, nice nuts and nice amuse bouche. Nice enough cocktails, only stayed for one. Good chilled atmosphere. Seeing UK getting more like America for tips but the staff were good for it.

Came here 4th Feb in the evening, couldn't remember the name of the bar lady that served us but she made a fantastic recommendation on a tequila and the cocktails were stunning! Quiet on a Sunday night but that's not their fault - the decoration was amazing and selection of cocktails was beaut! Cannot recommend enough to go!

Came in on a Thursday night, had a bar tender named Harry. Made a great margarita and a French martini. Knows how to make a good drink and is really charming. 10/10 Would definitely recommend

Went for a cocktail making experience here. Learnt about so much different flavours and obscure tastes. Blind Tyger had been my choice for celebrating my 30th birthday, primarily lured in by the enticing promise of a complimentary birthday gift and cocktail, clearly stated on their booking page. Adding to the anticipation, I wore a conspicuous birthday badge to ensure that the occasion was unmistakable. However, as the night unfolded, I found myself on the receiving end of a rather unmet expectation. Despite the explicit assurances during the reservation process, neither the promised birthday gift nor the complimentary cocktail materialised. The disappointment stemming from this discrepancy between the advertised perks and the actual experience cast a shadow over what should have been a celebratory evening. In essence, Blind Tyger failed to deliver on its commitment, and the unfulfilled promises left a discernible mark on the overall impression of the establishment. Consequently, my rating stands at 3/5, a reflection of the letdown in the execution of what could have been a more memorable milestone celebration.

We used to love this place and come here very often. After a long time no see we decided to stop by and have a drink. This place is nothing that it used to be, it lost all its charm and atmosphere. Service is rude and arrogant-waiter just put our drinks on the table and walked away. We needed to ask him which drink is which. The cocktails werent balanced right and tasted watery. I dont think bartender tried them before serving because if thats the way they should taste you have very low standards and 0 understanding of what cocktail is. Remember, you pay £12-£15 for 1 drink. So many better options in Leeds.

Tucked away between two other bars, a narrow passageway leads you to a hidden gem, an intimate and dimly lit oasis in the heart of the city. Unlike other cocktail bars I've visited, every drink here was a masterpiece. For me, the measure of a bar's greatness is its ability to execute a simple drink to perfection. The Old Fashioned I ordered was spot on, a true classic. I asked for a custom drink based on my partner's preferences, and he absolutely nailed it. Quiet and cozy, it's the perfect hideaway, and the best part? It won't break the bank. In summary, if you seek a sanctuary in the city with impeccable drinks and a barman who can create magic, this is the place to be. Cheers to hidden treasures.

Lovely cocktail bar. The staff are friendly and attentive when providing table service, but they don't pester you either. The atmosphere was relaxed and the music is great. The cocktail menu had some great variations on the classics, I really enioyed my Lisbon Tart. Classic cocktails that aren't on the menu are available too, you just have to ask.

Did cocktail making here for my friends hen party last Saturday (5/8/23) and it was fantastic! Kane and Iona were absolutely wonderful, so friendly, knowledgeable and patient with us all. They made it a lot of fun! For the price I think it was excellent value and would highly recommend!

Disappointed with this "speakeasy". Other than it being in a basement, it really didn't have the vibe of a speak easy. The music was super cheesy and super loud. The place stunk of vomit. Tables sticky. The cocktails were pretty fake (made with awful mixes instead of actual fruit etc. No ice in a bramble!) Staff were really friendly but the loudness of drunken yobs gives an awful atmosphere. Definitely wouldn't recommend :(

Lovely, cosy little venue above Sandinista, menu on the QR code was hard to get as it's quite dark and the internet's not great so that took a torch on one phone and camera on another, and 3/4 attempts to get it to load. Asked the bar tender for his reccomendations in the end which turned out great, really tasty drinks in beautiful glassware. Nice to know they're looking into sustainability and zero waste as well.

A small bar located upstairs. Little booths and seats. It has a speakeasy feel and the cocktails are different to the standard ones found elsewhere. Can be very busy and so drinks can take a while, especially weekend nigjts. The prices reasonable for the drinks and music not overly loud for the small venue to allow for conversation too. Updated 2yrs later - still good bar, no change to the above.reciew.

Not a bad little spot! Free drinks (aperitifs designed by the staff) and the knowledgeable bartenders coupled with an extensive list of classic and modern cocktails makes this a must-see. Suffers from the typical cocktail bar issue of the music being too loud to hear the person beside you without screaming.

Their friendliness really made our night; we felt so welcome. The atmosphere in general is really positive and safe. We liked the entrance; it’s nice and subtle. Great cocktails and very well trained bar staff that are able to cater to the individual customer, which is one of my favourite traits in a business! Perfect for an intimate date, catch-up or small group affair.

I've been to a lot of cocktails bars inside and outside the UK and I think this could be my favourite! ...or close second at least! Situated super close to the hotel I was staying in (Hampton). Great atmosphere. Super attentive and pleasant staff. Free cocktail and nibbles on arrival. Brave and interesting menu! They will adjust a cocktail for you of it isn't quite to your taste too ❤️ Just don't get yourself locked out when you visit the toilet! 😂 Only place I visited twice while I was in Leeds for the weekend! Will definitely return.

For the 2 years I lived in Leeds this was the best speakeasy cocktail bar in the city. Amazing selection of high quality drinks, very skilled staff that can make anything off menu, and always a lovely atmosphere.

A great little bar with super friendly staff. It is decorated in a Japanese/Asian style and serves similarly themed cocktails. Space is limited but once you get a table it is quite cozy.

My favourite place for cocktails!!! A hidden gem in Leeds. Really cool speakeasy vibe, I've never found it to be too busy to get in and we've always managed to get a table. Excellent selection of cocktails. Recently visited as part of our anniversary tradition, I'm pregnant and the staff made me a non alcoholic cocktail despite not having any on the menu. I really appreciated this as it meant we could both still enjoy drinks.

Had a wonderful time this evening! There are discount drinks on Friday evenings, so be sure to catch a few of those. We loved the cozy surroundings and had a great time celebrating our friend's birthday. Big thanks to the manager, Thomas, for being a stand up guy. I'd highly recommend this place. I tried two cocktails (one pictured) and I'm looking forward to going back and having another smokey tequila cocktail.

A speakeasy style bar with seating for around 25-30 in small groups and couples. The menu has about 15 cocktails which are all unique to the bar and a selection of wines and spirits The 400 Rabbits is particularly nice if you like an Old Fashioned style cocktail, made really smokey and peaty with Mescal

Not cheap. But great atmosphere. Small intimate. Want somewhere where few know of and football fans or underagers then this is it. Decore is excellent, a sarsaparilla bar with style. Well worth a visit.

One of the best date locations in Leeds. Delicious cocktails and a nice atmosphere this is one of my regular haunts. I just hope it stays secret long enough not to loose its hidden gem charm. It can get pretty hot in the summer, but is the perfect getaway from the rest of town when it's busy. You can't really beat it.

Heard about this cocktail bar online and decided to give it a try when I was going for birthday drinks. The bar itself is out of the way, despite being just round the corner from the Merrion Centre. The staff were wonderful - friendly and chatty and knew the menu like the back of their hands, so if you don't know what to have, feel free to ask for their recommendations (God's Own Cocktail is great for vodka lovers). The manager even came to clean our table when a drink was spilt on it, rather than leaving one of us to do it. The cocktails themselves are amazing to taste and surprisingly well priced in comparison to a lot of other cocktail bars. Drinks are made using a mix of spirits and fresh ingredients in front of you and are not watered down like a lot of other bars. Overall, thoroughly impressed by this bar and would recommend in a heartbeat for anyone looking for a good cocktail! Will definitely be going back!
