Blend & Batch in Banbridge

The food tastes excellent and the staff are great-very friendly. Couldn't give it 5* because of the portion size of the duck tacos. About a goujon worth split between the two, which is weird because the Korean chicken starter you get 4 large goujons which is great! At £17.50 I'd expect more. However we'll still be back because the food is really good.

Went in today Sunday for a coffee ☕️ and a tray bake. Waiting to be seated and notice a blue bottle 🪰 fly zooming all around the tray bakes having a good lick and dump on them. Had to leave the place I was nearly 😫 sick.

Food was excellent, service was very good however I have one criticism, I had booked a table for evening meal and was put a table at the bottom of the stairs and beside the door , it felt like the table was placed there for an extra sitting. I was freezing and had to put on my coat, the customers waiting for their tables surrounded mine so it took away from my enjoyment. That said I have been for breakfast before, the food and service is always excellent.

This place is fantastic. Simple menus with beautiful flavours, friendly staff with great service. Any time I go it’s busy, definitely give it a go.

Brilliant for food intolerances

I visited this afternoon and had the special of French Toast with pear. My comment is that the portion was tiny, just one small piece of French Toast, two pear halves, some cream and a sprinkle of maybe half a biscuit....for the price of £11.50. It did taste very nice but this does not represent value for money in my opinion. I have had French Toast in other establishments which were double the portion size for a lower price at an equal quality. The service was good and the place itself is cool.

Always guaranteed excellent food, service and coffee. Staff are always very helpful with my dad’s dietary requirements (dairy & gluten free) so Blend & Batch is one of the few places that he can go to eat.

Only 1 thing I was upset about there was only 1 scone I wanted .I ordered it but some one else sold it .staff should have took it of the shelf 😞

My husband researched and planned to eat here en route to a 25th anniversary weekend hotel break. There was a queue outside, so we waited for about 25 minutes before going inside. It was cold and windy, a man in front told us it was worth the wait, he was joined by his partner holding a baby- which I felt was totally understandable before entering the cafe. What I was very annoyed with was a couple just in front of him on reaching the door to go in was then joined by four more people skipping the entire queue of people outside. Coffee was cold, pieces of shell was in my poached egg but flavours were good and these things don’t normally bother me. I was not asked how everything was on paying the bill and my husband asked me to say nothing. Infact I have never written a negative review before. However I do feel if people are expected to queue, the staff member should have at least said to the extra people all in their 20s that they should have been queuing like everyone else. This would definitely put me off this place in future.

Went on a Sunday around 1. Queue out the door but didn’t have to wait long, 15 mins tops. Got seated upstairs. Very friendly staff who took food and drinks order. We had a table of 8 in front of us, which we were informed of, just if there was a wait on food. It still arrived in max 20 mins which was great. Tasted brilliant, I had the veggie brunch bap. Highly recommend

Called in late afternoon, Party of 3. I was surprised by both the variety and the nuisance of the menu. 3 mains, 1 side, 3 drinks & 2 take away buns for under £60, I think that's pretty good going in today's pricing nightmare. Coffee and the food was very tasty definitely worth a visit.

Worth the wait! One of the best breakfasts we’ve ever had! The coffee was delish and then we both had steak and eggs which were amazing, rare and really luxe at a great price. We also shared a rhubarb porridge which was so unexpectedly delicious and I’ve been craving it ever since. The queue system doesn’t really work as we were only two and stuck behind large groups of 4-8people per group and we could have been having a look at the menu in the queue to save anymore waiting. But I’m glad we did end up waiting and I’d come back!

Lovely place and lovely staff. They honoured a gift voucher I had forgotten about and let me use it even though it was out of date! The food was amazing too!

This is without question a well run restaurant. From the moment you are greeted at the door you will have a good experience. Warm well mannered staff who are always on the go. Tables are cleaned and cleared around you at speed and without you being washed with a spay gun of disinfectant! Food is always beautiful and good portions. And as if that is not enough the gluten free selection is great. The chips aren’t fried in the same oil as gluten containing foods so you won’t be sick before you get home! All in all it’s excellent try it! Well done managers and team keep up the good work 😊

There always seems to be a queue of people outside anytime I drive past so thought I'd give it a go. We were seated quite promptly and the staff were friendly. Coffee was great, food was ok but not worth queuing for. There's better nearby.

Lovely cafe, lots of food choices on the menu, all day brunch available and great selection of cakes. Big selection of cakes and desserts too. Great place for mums with small children or babies.

Great service and food. .disappointing visit last week when I only had euros in cash and was disappointed to be asked to leave something valuble as security by manager while I go to find the post office to change currency.do I look like a thief? I needed up buying a bottle of water in a business across the road to get sterling to pay.

Have been to blend and batch a good few times and have felt compelled to review the food and the service. On every occasion the food is top notch even though very busy all the time which is a great sign. My main complement is to the staff. In every visit each member of staff have been so polite and helpful and for me this makes the difference in a good and bad experience. To each and every member of staff a huge thank you for all your great work and the kitchen staff who we don’t see preparing great food. Look forward to our next visit soon.

Food was served long before our coffees arrived,we tried to hold back on eating our. breakfast ,our breakfast was getting cold , two different staff came over to say them were sorry as they said they were busy with takeout orders ,I have been in regular as we travel 10mile to go as we like this place ,

Was cash only on the day we visited. The place was busy but the tables were not being cleared and cleaned so the place was somewhat scruffy. I will say the coffee and food was great.

One of our favorite places to have breakfast while we were home from America. There can be a wait time and line outside so be mindful of that.

I'd normally give you 4 or 5 stars but today it's 3. As someone who gets a coffee daily with you when I'm back home, I found it unacceptable today to be told I would have to wait 10-15 minutes for a take out coffee. If you're busy you're busy (and you were today as always which says alot about what a great place this is) but then have another person to do coffee so take out coffees can be done in a reasonable time. Asking a customer to wait 10 to 15 mins is not acceptable. I didn't wait.

Great food option, extremely friendly and welcoming staff

The coffee was nice and the scones were OK. Found the staff verging on rude but definitely uninterested in taking our order. The place was busy, lots of yummy mummy's and people taking photos. It's probably the trendy place to go. I'll visit again and see if the service is any better. Oh, wear a coat it's freezing inside.

Visited for first time in two years as live outside Northern Ireland now. Brilliant as always, service is personable and the grilled cheese sourdough is to die for. Great coffee and sweet treats too. A great spot if you're ever in Banbridge.

Had a lovely meal. Scampi tacos were delicious! Olivia was our server and she was so helpful! The macarons we had with our coffee were out of this world!!

This place is always packed and now I know why. The food and service were both incredible with attentive staff checking on us regularly. Prices are reasonable considering the quality of ingredients. I ordered the weekly special of Korean Fried Chicken and Waffles, and my fiancée ordered poached eggs/ Smashed avocado on sourdough with feta. Both looked beautiful and tasted even better. Hats off to the chefs & the waiting/ coffee shop staff 👏

Blend & Batch - First time after a long planning.. I had weekly Special - Korean BBQ Chicken Waffles.. Flavourful & Delicious.. Good choice of Sauce & salad makes it Special 🤤 Chai Latte was another Classic taste maker among the Menu 👌🏻 Now I know why there is a long queue coz it is Worth waiting for Good Food ☺️

Had this place saved for a while it was finally time to try and it did not disappoint. Travelled just under 30mins to get to the place but worth it, parking was a slight issue as it was the weekend and we had to wait in the queue, but it didn't take too long. Had the smashed avocado with bacon and my partner had the wild mushroom sourdough and shared the croissant french toast which was the special for the week.🤤 Everything we ate was lovely. The customer service was next to none. Lots of choices from the hot food menu. Something for everyone, vegetarian, vegan and low gluten options are offered. Great selection of sweet treats and herbal teas. Highly recommend if in the area. ☺️

Very disappointed in this place, no point in posting a detailed review as whoever runs the social media likes to chastise & belittle customers , all I'll say is Google doesn't have a separate place for kitchen opening hours as nobody with any common sense closes their fully staffed kitchen for an hour a day just before tea time to give their kitchen staff a little rest mid their outrageously long 8 HR day (poor them I wish I only had to work 8hr shift with a wee 1hr paid break) Never the less there will be some long winded & unfunny response to this review by B&B .

Decided to go to this establishment for food , very disappointed , after driving 40min to get there , 15min more round & round laps of the the town to get the car parked , got the kids out the car & ready for food , in the door @4:08pm to be informed by the quite pleasant staff member , the kitchen closes from 4pm to 5pm for some incomprehensible reason . I don't understand why this would be necessary to close the kitchen for one hour & to refuse custom for hot food in a fully staffed restaurant for 1hr every day . It simply makes no sense & looking at the reviews I'm not the only person to have been disappointed & commented on this subject in a review. For the record if this has happened to you I can highly recommend Safari Restaurant across the road does an excellent 2 course early bird deal from 4-6 was delicious. Doubt I'll be back to try Blend Batch anytime soon ,

Cannot pass this place anytime I am near Banbridge. Staff are always lovely and food is amazing too. No wonder it’s always busy - you have all done a great job.

Went here with my hubby!! He was so excited because we had talked about this place so much! Had the most DELICIOUS breakfast pancake with bacon bits! Mmmmm! We had a WONDERFUL server I forgot her name now but she had a beautiful baliage!!! I loved it here

Waiting outside for 30 minutes before being allowed inside, then waiting 10 minutes eventually left at that stage as no one could be bothered to take our order! During our wait 19 people left without anymore people being allowed in. Absolutely terrible customer service. Will never be back

Every time we are here food is fantastic, never had issues of any kind , also food quality is consistently very good . Just to mention also team is extremely friendly and helpful.

Food was lovely, can’t complain it was excellent. Did feel a little awkward when we arrived as we hadn’t realised two girls on the bench outside were queuing and had came inside so as to not wait out in the cold with our baby, we were quickly ushered back outside feeling awkward that it was implied we were being queue jumpers, all the young girls who served us were fantastic and the food was fantastic but whoever was on the door on 6/11/23 was maybe just having a bad day but she looked super dooper annoyed with us, we almost left but decided not to and we were glad we stuck around.

Great environment for a cafe, it literally has everything you would want. Amazing food with so much on the menu, great coffee and really nice staff who are incredibly friendly. The manger Jessica is always so helpful and make you feel welcome. I would go with friends to catch up over lunch or go solo and work from Blend and batch. Both are always a good experience All in, its a brilliant cafe no matter what you are after

The fact that there is always a queue here speaks volumes to its excellent food options and service. Their range of baked goods in the window is excellent and the vegan superseeded bar, in particular, is *unreal*. Their website is also excellent. Highly recommend visiting!
